I completely lucked out getting a massage here last minute during my stay in Wikiki. The spa is very peaceful and as mentioned, the lounge and jacuzzi area have a spectacular view of the ocean!! I had the lounge to myself; when you book it, they’ll tell you to bring your suit and come early to enjoy a half hour of jacuzzi or sauna time before the massage and that you’re welcome to stay a half hour afterwards to enjoy the amenities more. It was a total game changer. Tim was my masseuse and he was so kind and amazing with his technique. this place would not be good for a large group but if you can escape your family for some solo time, absolutely treat yourself 11/10

Worst massage I’ve ever had! Zero effort given & horrible techniques. LMT’s tapotement was just hitting and painful. She kept walking away to wash her hands with ice cold water & then put her cold hands on me. She kept using her knuckles, which felt as painful as you could imagine. She had absolutely no care for using less pressure on delicate areas. Most of her motions go away from heart (very dangerous). She bruised my leg and my back. Also you’re told to wear a mask in the whirlpool! What? That is so dangerous. I tried it and my mask got wet. The therapist told me to just put the wet mask back on.Whirlpool was very moldy and musty smelling & filled with sand. $220 for the most affordable option. Look elsewhere.

We were very unhappy they didn’t let us know when booking that we would have to be masked during this couples massage. When we were head down we had to breathe into this weird cloth bag (no mask). It was horrible. Poor communication. I don’t mind people having rules but they need to be communicated prior. In addition we paid extra $ for the couples spa room but weren’t allowed (due to Covid)- again some communication would have went a LONG way.

Their location and view was amazing. My man therapist had good technics. I have a sleeping left thigh and I told him only that, not details, but he gave me very high technical treatment like a chiropractic. I was surprised. I often get a massage, but therapists just use power. His massage was no painful at all and gave my thigh better. One thing I didnt like was, I got a body polish and I had to be a naked, but they game me a man therapist. I couldnt be relaxed at all during the polish treatment. Thats very unsensitive. I was very disappointed.

My whole family had the deep tissue massage and hot stone. We all liked it. Grandma loves the sauna, steam and jacuzzi! And I recommend you do this before your massage so, you need to go an hour before your appointment. Very relaxing.Chocolate chips and water after massage is provided. The tax and service charge is too much here in Hawaii though.

Had a great deep tissue massage with (I believe) Chris.Great massage therapist especially if you’ve been active and can use some loosening of tight knots. Guy knows what he’s doing. Nice day spa with up to date spa facilities. Steam/sauna room, jacuzzi, showers and locker room. Groupon has a good deal on massages or facials or if you’re local I think there’s a lower rate for ya!

The Lomi Stone Pedicure is the best pedicure I’ve ever had. It’s ultra-relaxing, and leaves my feet soft and beautiful. The atmosphere at the Moana Lani Spa is calming and rejuvenating. I treated my mom to this pedicure when she visited from the mainland, and she also said it’s the best pedicure she’s ever had. I’ve also given it to my close friend for her birthday each year- I could go on and on. Love this pedicure- it’s well worth the money as a special treat for yourself or a friend!

Hung out here for about 4 hours total. Enjoyed a relaxing scalp and shoulder massage. The place was fairy secluded, but I imagine it could be frustrating if more than 5 people were there at the same time. Would recommend to anyone staying in Waikiki looking for a quick escape from the bustle.

I am lucky enough to live on this island and Moana Lani spa is truly something special. The staff appreciate and value each guest that chooses to visit them and there is wonderful attention to detail that ensures that you have a relaxing day.Once you arrive through the glass doors you will be greeted with a warm smile and will be escorted to a seating area to fill out a short form that asks about any medical needs or requests that you might have. After this, you will be escorted through a set of two doors that lead to a very quiet changing area where you can store your personal items in a locker while you are having your treatment. (it is secure and you will set the combination for the locker)Now that you have been given a very comfy robe and slippers you will wait in the most spectacular lounging room that overlooks the vibrant blue ocean and feel the nice breeze from the water. The lounging area is very well appointed with super comfortable chairs and sofas where you can zone out the stress of the day and allow yourself to feel worry free and relaxed. The lounge area offers complimentary water, fruit, nuts and hot tea before and after your treatment. Your technician will come and let you know when it’s time for your appointment, so enjoy the gorgeous view while you wait and take this special time to clear your mind. This is a full service spa that offers everything from facials to massages to manicures and pedicures. I have been fortunate enough to try several of these options and each one brings a special reminder of how nice it is to focus on yourself sometimes!I can sincerely recommend that you schedule a pedicure with Teresa, Denise or Diane and you will be very happy that you did. There is no better feeling than drifting off while sitting in their highly coveted zero gravity chair that vibrates and lulls you into relaxation while they massage your feet and legs with special oils from Hawaii. When you open your eyes you’ll be happy to see beautifully painted toes and soft feet staring back at you.Treat yourself to the BEST pedicure in Waikiki! Everyone deserves to be pampered sometimes.

Jan at the Moana Lani Spa did an absolutely STUNNING job with my hair! I am over the moon with the final product and Jans amazing service!!If youre like me, then youre very picky with who you trust doing your hair. Ive been seeing Jan at the Moana Surfrider for years because she is absolutely amazing at what she does! When I saw her a few weeks ago, my hair was outgrown, dry, and in desperate need of revival. I showed Jan a picture of a honey-brown balayage I wanted...and she brought my hair dreams to life! The color and style was exactly what I wanted and more. Throughout my hair service, Jan offered me snacks & drinks and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Not only is Jan a fabulous hairstylist, but she is also a fabulous person. Very kind, sweet and full of life! If I could give Jan and the Moana Lani Spa more than five stars I would! Thank you Jan!

Excellent spa. My husband and I were not staying in Waikiki but had a dinner reservation after spending the day at the Waikiki beach. We decided to go for a spa to get a massage and get washed up. I got a great massage and got to use their spa facilities which overlooks Waikiki beach. If you don’t want to get a massage or a treatment - you can get a day pass for $50 to just use their spa facilities!

Had their Signature Massage by Sandy who rushed me out of the room as soon as the massage was over (literally had 1 minute to get dressed and out, not a relaxing way to end the experience). Would rate the Massage itself a 6.5/10 and not worth the price tag. The best part of the experience was the spa rooms and beautiful views. My husband also did not rate his Massage highly 5/10.

As a guest of the Moana Lani Spa, you can use Moana Surfriders valet parking. So after getting my car valeted, I walked towards the right of the hotel and up the escalator to the beautiful Moana Lani Spa. I was escorted to the womens changing room where I was given a locker. They ask you to remove all clothing and put on their wonderfully smooth and comfy robe. They give you spa shoes, but as a local girl my feet did not fit in there. Good thing I brought my slippahs! My masseuses name was Chien or something, and she was very sweet. I was given a free aromatherapy upgrade, which even if you have to pay for, I highly recommend. I would go with the plumeria. My asked for a lomi massage, and it was good. Normally, I think they go to hard but I had to ask her to use more pressure a couple of times, but she was a little thing, so she might not have had it in her. Still, she did the best that she could. Maybe next time I will use a different masseuse though. After my massage, they gave me a nice chocolate to end my massage experience. It was pretty high quality and absolutely delicious! When you get a massage, you have access to the spa facilities for the whole day. And you will want to. The bathrooms here have everything a woman might need, just in case you forgot them (they also have razors and shaving cream in the shower; more on that later). Something that may come in handy if you plan to hit the whirlpool! After my massage, I changed into my swim suit (so dont forget to bring yours!) and hit the whirlpool/Jacuzzi. After getting my muscles worked on, it was just what they needed. The tub overlooks the ocean, so when you sit back in the tub and look out the window, all you see is blue skies and the sound of the ocean. After the whirlpool, I hit up the relaxation area where there are some really comfy lounge chairs. They offer some water, trail mix, fruit, and tea here. I recommend the blueberry acai first and then lemon soufflé if you have time, both with those honey pearls. All the chairs face the ocean and they run A/C there so it doesnt get too hot. The relaxation room is truly peaceful. You can take a nap, read a book (bring your Kindle!), or just zone out listening to the ocean and quiet! They also have one of those no-moisture heat rooms, the word escapes me, but it was nice. The steam room really has a lot of steam which is super awesome for opening those pores and relaxing those muscles. Outside of those rooms, they have washcloths in ice to help cool you down and a couple of chairs to relax in and enjoy the view. After you are done relaxing you can use their shower rooms to get ready. They have nice clean soft washcloths and towels right there ready for you. They even have shower caps and Qtips for your convenience. The showers are awesome. They are individual stalls with the shower separate from the changing area. They have the handheld shower heads and the rainfall shower head above, which was nice! They have body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the stalls ready for your use. Im not sure what kind they are, but it seems of good quality and smells ready good!Back at the locker rooms, they provide you with a hairdryer, hair products, and even deodorant spray in case you forgot to bring yours. I love how they also provide you with a bag to put your wet clothes into. Its those small things that really make a difference in your experience. As a note: before you check out, try to call down to the valet to have them get your car ready otherwise be prepared to wait about 10 mins. So, just as a tip, make sure to bring these things to your visit: slippers, swimsuit, something to read, deodorant, a hairbrush, and money to tip. They told me the tip was included in the price for the massage, but if your masseuse does an exceptional job you might want to give extra. Also, please dont forget to tip your valet for running through Waikiki to retrieve your car!

Moana Lani Spa is the best!I used to think of Hawaii as the Royal Hawaiian Abasa Waikiki Spa, but in the last 10 years the quality has dropped to a disappointing extent.I make reservations too much and people like Japans public baths can not relax at all. However, this is wonderful!First of all, I participated in the yoga lesson held in the garden from 7:00 on the day by applying. The whole body of the power of Hawaii while listening to the sound of waves and birds. Then I went to the spa I had booked from Japan. Because it was a reservation from 9 oclock, I took a shower and was relaxed in the hot water with a view of the sea.As time was early, it was in a state of rental! It did not enter, but there was also a sauna. It really feels great to be caught in the hot water while listening to the sound of the waves! After that, eat fruit and drink lemon water and relax until it is called by the staff. This is also the waterfront, and it is a space where you want to stay for hours. You will be guided to the room behind you when it is time.A room with a view of the sea, often listed in magazines, is about $ 70 plus, so please be with the couple again. I was shown on the way back.It was a small Asian-style room that I had a massage. It was a lovely staff with a lovely Japanese smile. The technique of the massage was also wonderful and the whole body was refreshed completely.Isnt it hot or cold? It was a wonderful one to listen carefully and care. You can use the spa again and again until 8 oclock that day. It was said, I left the spot to get a discount voucher that could be used next time. Those who really massage the facilities and other staff were also better, but the staff who first provided the facilities in the beginning seemed to be really embarrassing and bothersome, and only I was there When I try to ask how to lock the locker, it is written in Japanese there. It was only disappointing that I was left alone, and I reduced one star. I was guided to the customers who have come after me like me.I wonder why youre making that person your first guide to a great spa.If this is improved, then five stars.

You can immerse yourself in the Jacuzzi on the day you arrive in Hawaii, close your eyes while watching the Waikiki Beach in the rest room and eliminate jet lag.The use of Spa only is $ 50. Since it is free to enter and go out, you can go out to the beach and go back and go shopping and come back again.Apart from the jacuzzi, there is a mist sauna and a dry sauna. The rest is a shower in a private room. The shower room has a handle shower and a rain shower. Shampoo is also put, but there is no make-up removal and cleansing foam. The dryer is in the changing room. There is light meal service and information, but mix nuts, oranges and apples are put. Drinks are lemon water and various herb teas.It will be used in bathing suits. There is also a swimwear dehydrator. Coucou coupons were not available for spa use only.
