Dr. Evan is a compassionate person. He is a gracious and gifted healer. I always feel so much better after my treatment . I highly recommend Dr. Evan if you are in pain and suffering or just need a recharge

I highly recommend Dr. Murao. He treated my mom several times in home visits because she was more comfortable there. She was reluctant to try acupuncture but ended up loving the way it made her knee feel better and how relaxed she felt.I also went to Dr. Murao for my first treatment recently and am looking forward to going back! He made me very comfortable and I was able to fully relax. He was very professional and intuitive about what I needed. He is also very skilled and I truly cares about his patients. If youre on the fence, try a visit with him. I think youll be glad you did!A few bonuses are that his office space is very inviting and his table is the most comfortable Ive ever experienced. Add that to the amazing sound sytem and beautiful lighting he has, and youll feel the relaxing vibe from the moment you step inside. The views of Diamond Head are amazing too!

I had a significant side body (oblique/intercostal/serratus) injury from surfing that kept me out of the water for 3+ months. I started seeing Dr Evan and the attention and care that he provided to me was incredible. He honed in on the areas that needed healing and used a variety of techniques that he felt were best suited to my needs (acupuncture, electrical stimulus, cupping, massage, etc.). After a few sessions, along with some at home physical therapy that Dr Evan recommended, I was able to start paddling a surfboard again. Its been about 4.5 months and Im back to surfing and finally feeling like my body is back to normal. If I ever need care again or even routine maintenance Ill for sure be back to see Dr Evan, thanks a million!

Amazing service! Evan really took his time to treat my needs specifically. He’s very compassionate and actually cares. I was having neck pain and after one session (not to say one session is all you need) I had relief and I can’t remember feeling this good ever. If you haven’t seen him yet, I HIGHLY recommend you doing so. It doesn’t even need to just be for your pain, but medically and even emotionally, he definitely can help.

I’m writing this review for my husband Charles. He is already at work this morning feeling rejuvenated & alive. My husband works 7 days a week often flying off island consistently pounding his body working with concrete, gunite, plasters & all the prep that comes with the trade. I’ve been an LMT 10 years now & I work on Charles at home as much I can but if I don’t have time for a full session we just stretch & work on each others feet. Our schedules are hectic, we have 6 kids, 2 dogs & a passion for keeping our house in top shape.I asked Evan if he could help Charles since he is already immuned to my treatment & Evan’s work is next level in my opinion!! Dr. Evan was able to tap in & help Charles feel a true sense of mind, body & spirit balance! Charles has upper back & rotator cuff issues with super tight forearms. He also has lower back pain all the time, tight hamstrings & calves that cause occasional restless leg syndrome & his feet are always sore.This first treatment was a game changer! Charles said everytime he felt Evan hit a sore spot he didn’t need to say anything Evan just focused on it & moved on after it relaxed. Soon as the session was over Charles was ready to schedule the next one. This morning when he woke up he said he felt brand new and energetic. I’m so happy we finally found a treatment for our hard working Daddy!! It’s life changing to find a healing modality that truly lifts the spirit beyond the body work. Had a very negative interaction with owner Dr. Evan Murao. Not a quality person. Said some disturbing things that made me uncomfortable. If you do not care about the morals of the Dr. you use, feel free but I chose to spend my money elsewhere.Edit: I cannot figure out how to reply to you, Dr. Evan Murao, directly but I find it apallying that you would attempt to hide behind such a horriable act to dismiss my complaint. Dr. Evan was a godsend! I found his office on IG and was highly interested to book an appointment. As a pregnant woman who has been under intense physical stress, Ive barely been able to leave the house in months. He was very professional, thorough, his office was beautiful and relaxing, and he was great at assessing my pain and needs while being transparent about the timing and modules that were safe for myself and my baby. I couldnt leave without booking my next appointment! I left feeling like a million dollars and was able to have my first normal, energized weekend in months. Did I mention he was extremely affordable? Especially with the care and time he provides to his patients. I will definitely be seeking to become a regular patient, I highly recommend inner Chi Hawaii, you will not regret it!

Got a back injury from working out (lifting weights) and everyday work life. Tried getting massages and it didn’t really help me at all. Called up Evan and he worked on my back and it instantly felt better, after days went by my back just kept getting better and better. Evan was really helpful and knowledgeable with everything on what he was doing. I was having the craziest tension headaches for almost half a year and my wife was just feeling fatigued with back and shoulder pains from work and home life with our two kids. Evan sat us down and explained what could be ailing us from both eastern and western practice views. After learning more about us, he spent 1 1/2 hours each for us, and not only used 1 modality... he cupped and acupuncture us both. Reasonably priced and 100% satisfied. My wife and I werent only relaxed, but the things that ailed us were non existent and we actually had a jolt of energy as well.Thats just the first time. About three weeks later, I was on Molokai and went diving while congested. I ended up throwing up and having major body aches after getting out of the water. I called him and asked if there was anything I could do naturally to feel better. He jumped on the next flight to Molokai and that evening I was up and spending time with he and my family because he worked on me right then and there.I would suggest anyone to at least give him a call, any ailment and I believe he could really help you out. Hes very knowledgeable and shows a lot of empathy for his patients. Hes not a timer type guy, if he goes over, his concern is more, wether he helped you or not. Please hit him up.

My experience with Evan was above and beyond my expectations. Because I am related, I put him on a higher expectation than other people. He blew my expectations away with his explanation of my issues and allowing me to be engaged in treatment by educating me on what he is doing. I am more than happy to refer anyone that is looking for his kind of work to Evan.

About 5 years ago, I injured my knee while running and have been living with excruciating pain and pressure in my knee ever since. A few months ago I went to Evan for acupuncture treatments for my knee pain and the pain and pressure I felt were completely gone! I was able to walk without any pain or discomfort and I had thought I was going to have to live like that forever but that changed with these treatments!Evan is very gently and cares so much about his patients well being in all aspects! He makes you feel very comfortable during the treatments. I highly recommend him to everyone!

Evan is a great acupuncturist! My first time seeing him was for pain in my neck and shoulders. I did not know what to expect and was a bit nervous at first due to unfamiliarity with these types of treatments. Evan was very communicative and thoroughly walked me through each treatment, explaining what was being done and what to expect/feel. I received acupuncture and acupressure treatments and I was very at ease and felt very comfortable throughout my appointment.My neck and back both feel immensely better and have relief from tension and tightness in my neck and shoulder. My treatments have been super effective and I continue to feel results from each treatment Highly recommend both the treatments and Evan as a acupuncturist as he truly shows concern and care for his patients.

As a close friend it has been an amazing journey to watch him grow as a Practitioner and even more phenomenal to experience it first hand.I knew something was up with my hand when I started waking up every morning consistently for a few weeks numb and tingly. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know something was wrong, but I have always had issues with my muscles and joints due to wear and improper healing. When the doctors last option was cortisone shots and Botox to help with pain, I decided to seek help from a professional who was currently studying Oriental Medicine and Accupunture. I was a skeptic about acupuncture and a needle phobic, but all that changed when I got a sciatica nerve pinch in my lower back after training in Jiujitsu. The pain was excruciating and I was unable to move. i was contemplating if I should go to ER, but Evan offered acupuncture treatment to help. I was in so much pain that I put my needle phobia aside and let him do his thing. In less than 20 minutes my pain subsided and I was able to move!! I would not have believed it, if it wasn’t fir me being the one treated.I truly now am a believer of acupuncture, Evan made it painkess and helped me through my needle fear. I am most grateful for Evan and his expertise in acupuncture!!!
