I love her, and her practice!I’ve never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment. She’s very direct in her approach, which I like.I wouldn’t go anywhere else! She has found numerous skin cancers on me, and taken appropriate steps to remove them.My primary physician referred me, and I’m glad!

I never write reviews, ever, but this needed to be an exception. This is the absolute worst doctor I have ever had the unfortunate experience of meeting. She was extremely short, rude and unprofessional. She did not listen to concerns, nor did she properly assess the problems that I came to her for. She ended up botching a procedure during my first visit and I ended up in a lot of pain with an awful infection. I went back after that visit and she refused to even look at the site of the infection she caused to see if it was healing properly... At my first appointment she had also prescribed two medications, and wrote different dates on each so the pharmacy was nit able to fill them and it took her a week to correct this just to find out they were not the correct medications for my condition. This woman does not deserve a medical license and Id rather continue to suffer than go back again..

She was very rude. I would not recommend her at all. This is what she told me twice at both visits. She said to lose weight and eat more fruits and vegetables. When I have a skin disease. Never going back. I go to a dermatologist in Jenison who are caring and supportive.

Always prompt when I arrive. Never wait more than 3-5 minutes, if at all. Very attentive to my needs and has spotted concerned areas on my body that have been exposed to the sun for too long. Saved a friend of mine’s life! Routine exam discovered more advanced skin cancer. Detected early and was able to remove (small spot on back lead to a 12” x 12” section of his back skin & muscle being removed). I wouldn’t go anywhere else than to Dr. Sanchez. Have recommended her to numerous friends and family. ALL completely satisfied with her work. May sometimes come across w/ a no-nonsense personality & I want that with my Dr. No beating around the bush. Give it to me straight and accurate.

We were referred to Dr. Sanchez by our primary care physician due to a concerning spot on my daughters finger that has grown in size. When discussing the referral, our primary care physician told me that if i felt like i needed a second opinion, to call her office and let her know and she would send our referral elsewhere. Considering they offered a second opinion before even seeing the Dr shouldve been warning enough. We got to our 8:30 am appointment and sat in the waiting room for probably less than 5 minutes which was great. We were brought to a room and the receptionist told us the doctor would be right in. Not even a minute later, the doctor walks in, asks to see her finger, without asking any background about when we noticed the spot, how big it was when we noticed it compared to now, etc. She immediately says (while still walking up to my daughter as she held out her hand) yep, its a mole. She took out her little ruler and measured the spot. I told her that the spot has grown and does not go away. She said a person can get *she said a number that i dont remember now* moles in a life time and to watch it to make sure it does not grow anymore. Even though its already doubled in size since it first appeared, which i told her. She said she did not want to do a biopsy because, they dont do them in office, which im not sure if thats true or not and said that the procedure is extremely scarring and since its on her ring finger, she didnt want that to scar. Id rather her have a scar on her finger than it turn out to be something serious that Dr. Sanchez failed to diagnose. I again reiterated that the spot has grown and she said thats because its now a mature mole. She said if I wanted a biopsy, I had to call my primary care physician because she cant set those up. The entire appointment lasted less than 5 minutes. Needless to say, I left the office feeling even more uneasy than when I went in and I called our primary care physician from the parking lot to request a second opinion. When I got to work, 2 of my co workers said they also had bad experiences with Dr. Sanchez. The same issues we had.. She seemed not to care, she just skimmed over the problem area, and gave no solution. The fact that she had to give herself 5 stars on Google Reviews should tell you something.

Personally, I dont understand the negative reviews. Ive seen Dr Sanchez on more than one occasion. I had been misdiagnosed by another Dr. recently. VERY glad I went back to Dr Sanchez. I had a list of all current medications with me when I arrived (it helps to prepare). She was through in her exam. Her diagnosis was correct. She prescribed both an oral medication and a gel for my face. Its markedly improved in only a week. With this level of progress so quickly, Im sure itll be fine just as she said. Id recommend her to anyone that wants a top notch dermatologist. I found the office staff to be courteous, professional and efficient.

Terrible place. I went in for lumps on my thighs and lady laughed and told me it was because i was over weight...when i’m only 20-25 pounds over my suggested weight for my height. Wasn’t professional and didn’t help me at all. Little does she know i struggle with an eating disorder and her laughing and saying that triggered me very badly.

A friend suggested Dr. Sanchez, who was seeing him after his Ann Arbor dermatologist repeated failed to clear up a chest rash. We are both thankful for successful treatments, good visits with the doctor, and friendly, helpful front office staff! A nice change from my dermatologist office in Grosse Pointe. Where I would usually get one of the practitioners instead of one of the doctors, they wouldnt see me until Jan. even for pre cancerous sun damage on my forehead. Front office staff there rude and unhelpful, not at all like Dr. Sanchez and her office. So thank you Dr. Sanchez and staff!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, especially those of a negative nature. But my visit to Dr. Sanchez was truly a depressing experience. I left with no level of comfort, didnt feel I had been properly assessed, and wished I could rewind time and make an appointment someplace else. Dont make the same mistake...go someplace else.

When I was seen by Dr. Sanchez I was skeptical. I had small patches of scaly skin along with significant hair loss, and while I knew that one spot was psoriasis I didnt think it all was.I explained my trouble and concerns, and she really didnt seem to care. She barely came within arms reach of me, used her pen to move my hair aside to view my scalp, and pronounced it all to be psoriasis. She then indicated there probably wasnt anything I could do to stop the hair loss but could try steroid ointment along with moisturizing soap and coconut oil. She also told me I should try and reduce stress. I felt as if I had been judged and written off, but I followed her instructions despite my reservations.Nearly 7 weeks later and Im still losing my hair. The only area of skin improving is the one I KNEW was psoriasis. I believe I know what the other patches are, but that will require another visit to a dermatologist - but NOT Dr Sanchez.

I dont ever leave reviews, but after dealing with the front desk and watching them interact and how they behaved with clients ahead of me, I decided to check reviews and wasnt surprised. Staff is rude, uneducated and seemly incompetent. I scheduled my apt for 10, received a confirmation phone call for 10 and got to the office and they told me it wasnt until 1:40. Thankfully they did honor the 10am apt. I was hopeful the doctor would off set this review and not be so bad, but she was worse! She mumbled, was short and just, ... weird! Theres other way to put it. I was in the office to have a mole on my face looked at it, she ended up removing it and when I expressed concern with another that I had, she hardly glanced at it and told me it was a large pore, really!? Once she was done, she told me to call her office sometime next week to get the results. I found that odd, most offices make the call to the client once results are in! She then handed me a paper and said, take this to the desk and then she walked out. She left the needle and bloody gauze laying all over the counter. Avoid this office, youll thank me if you do.

I have been a patient of Dr Sanchez for almost ten years now and trust her explicitly with all my skin cancer treatments. I find her to be a very compassionate person as well. As for the staff, Ive never had any issues in either the Holland or Wyoming office. They all seem pleasent enough. Cant understand the negitaves on this site cause I got nothing but good things to say.

Had a horrible experience. Went to see her for a dry, red and itchy spot in my eye lid that was spreading to the other eye. It was causing swelling also. She looked at it and said it looked like a sty, I explained that it was not under my eyelid it was on top of my eyelid. She said I dont know and I am not a eye doctor. She wrote me a prescription, having never giving me a diagnosis of what it was and said if it continued to see my family doctor. I had to ask a lot of questions to get any information from her and had to ask what she was giving me for a prescription. Nothing was explained well or diagnosed. So I left having to pay a $75 co-pay plus no diagnosis from a dermatologist Specialist who was no help at all.

Avoid this dermatologist at all costs. My husband went to see Dr. Sanchez for some skin issues he was worried about and she took out a broken magnifying glass and pretended to examine him, then she quickly diagnosed him and told him he needed to eat carrots. Far and away the worst, least caring doctor I have had the misfortune to visit. I got about 2 minutes of her time, during which she seemed irritated to see me for that long. She looked at my problem from no closer that 4 feet away, said dont touch it or scratch it, although she could not tell me what the rash on my face was. No prescription or recommendation even for any kind of treatment.I promptly was billed $118 for that professional visit, and when I called to make the payment I was told you dont have a balance with us.Of course I got billed again, so apparently they did in fact want my money. Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time with this individual.

As others have said, no attn to detail or bedside manner. She administered treatment to my 7 year old autistic son without telling me what the treatment was, or even that it WAS a treatment. It wasnt until after the fact that she told me the side effects, which were blistering and potential scarring.....and she put it on his face! She failed to mention that a burning sensation was also a side effect. She could not even give me the actual name of the stuff she used on him, just kept calling it beetle juice and saying it came from Canada (which would make sense considering that I could not find proof that it is even approved by the FDA). Never mentioned that it would need to be cleaned off with soap and water later that night, I found that out on my own doing an internet search! My son has sensory issues and was up all night crying because it burned and because she said not to pop the blisters so he was worried that rolling over while sleeping would pop them. Autistic kids take things very literally and seriously! I wish she would have given me the opportunity to tell her about his sensory problems, or at least let me refuse a treatment that I would have known was going to be an issue if I had known the side effects before she used it. I was given NO options!

Well if you dont understand why there are 1 star ratings then you can visit the brain and spine clinic right across the street. There were 2 receptionists and the one was very nice and the other needs to find a garage to work in or construction site. She was intimidating the nice girl and using her to do the job she was hired for cause she doesnt know anything about how an office works. Dr Sanchez smoke another doobie. It was like talking to a zombie. Quick splash of compound W with real beetle enzymes and dont forget to eat your carrots. Come on, what a waste of time going there when I couldve done it myself.

I did not have a good experience in this office. I had a spot on my arm that she completely overlooked; I had to specifically point it out to her and she was not concerned. I also has a small growth on my leg that she said was up to me to have it removed as it was purely cosmetic. I had her remove it. When the lab results came back the cells were pre-melanoma cells, so she wanted me to come back so she could remove the rest of it. I switched to another provider. That physician looked at my arm and said he was certain it was skin cancer, and to go ahead and schedule the appt to remove it while we waited on the biopsy results. (It was cancer.) The new provider also commented that the growth on my leg should never have been removed the way it was because it messed up the cellular pattern the lab was trying to analyze.
