Ive seen Dr Fernandez a few times now and feel hes not super attentive. I asked him to switch my birth control from one that never gives me my period, to one that does. And he proceed to say well most women like it because xyz - I dont care what most women like. He decided to put me on Charlotte 24 Fe and after using it for a few months I learned that this particular pill DOESNT GIVE YOU YOUR PERIOD EVER. I did a quick Google search and it was one of the first things it said about the pill. I should have done the research sooner, but I trusted his word!!! Im finding a new doctor.

Dr Fernandez is amazing, and the nurses are all friendly. He’s taken good care of me. He listens to all my concerns and answers all my questions. He finds a solution to any problem. I would definitely recommend getting an appointment with him. Appointments are easy to get and waiting room time is always short. If I could give more stars I would. He’s definitely the best:) Thank you dr Fernandez 🙏🏼

Great doctor and all but my goodness is the front desk horrible. Paper work goes missing, you’ll never get a call back, and good luck trying to express your concerns about the situation. Absolutely horrible.

I just gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Harper on August 9 2017. Luckily I found Dr. Fernandez on yelp & it was the best decision I think Ive made doctor wise my entire life. If I can give him 10 stars or even 100 I know I would! From the very first visit in his office I felt completely at ease & comfortable with him. His approach with me & Im sure all his patients is so warm & the laid back. Like an old friend you have known your whole life, yet professional & concerned with your health. Everyone in his office has been nothing but professional which I am a huge stickler for. I could never thank him enough but Im hoping this review brings more people to him so they can experience exactly what I did!Great careClean, friendly, professional office and staffKnowledgeable doctor with a great personable approach.

I am not usually one to write reviews about anything or anyone but Dr. Fernandezs outstanding care warrants one. Dr. Fernandez has been my OB for 8 years and I recently delivered a baby under his care (July 2015). For all of the time I have known him, Dr. Fernandez has taken exceptional care of me. He always takes his time to explain and answer any questions. Never once have I felt rushed or that I didnt feel confident about anything we had discussed and his bedside manner puts you at complete ease to open up to him. He made me feel safe and secure that my baby and I were both taken care of especially during some early challenges in my pregnancy and then going into early labor. There is a peace of mind in working with a doctor who you feel is so trustworthy, committed and kind. I recommend Dr. Fernandez wholeheartedly without a single hesitation.

Dr Fernandez is a wonderful doctor—he’s helped me through 2 pregnancies and a miscarriage and the care I’ve received is nothing less than 5 stars. But on top of that he also had a great bedside manner—he makes you feel like a person and not a patient.His calming presence is exactly what you want from an OB as things can get stressful during the 40 week pregnancy and during labor. For my last delivery January 2018) he made all the right calls and my l&d experience was such a good one. Can’t say enough good things about him.

I cant tell about the doctor but I am shocked about the way I was treated by a person of the front desk. I am french, I arrived 3 weeks ago so I dont understand all and sometimes I need people repeat... the person seemed irritated and she finally hanged up while I was talking!! So shocking...

My Dear Dr Fernandez. 1st time I can say I have such an amazing Doctor and human being taking care of my health. I have been 3 years with him and all I can say: He is one of the best Obgyn. He cares, listens and finds a solution for any problem you address to him. He makes you feel comfortable. And his staff is in another level, really caring as well. Im thankful for you :)

Dr. Fernandez has been my OB for all three of my daughters. He and his team have been wonderful throughout all of my pregnancies and even when I thought I was pregnant but wasnt. They care and truly treat you like family! I highly recommend Dr. Fernandez and the entire Womens Integrated Health team.

Front desk, horrible. I’m sure the doctor may be great. But the receptionists don’t care for his patients at all and that speaks volumes.

Dr. Fernandez was the on-call doctor who helped deliver my baby at Hoboken University Hospital, although he wasnt my regular OBGYN doctor. He was very patient with me, very encouraging and very professional. I had a very good experience with Carepoint Health and Dr. Fernandez on my delivery day as a first time mom.

I came to Dr. Osbert Fernandez because of all the wonderful reviews. Unfortunately, my experience wasnt so great here. To say that I felt neglected is an understatement.

I cannot explain how great my pregnancy was under the care of Dr. Fernandez . I used to go to another Obgyn in Hoboken and when I found out I was pregnant I tried to go there. The staff had changed and was disgustingly horrible when I showed up. This was my first pregnancy and to say I was treated like nothing is to say the least. I went and continued to look for an Obgyn in Hoboken since I like 2 minutes from there. Dr. Fernandez and all the reviews came up so I decided to make the call. The first time I called I thought it was a joke I was on hold forever and a day. I finally made the appointment and was able to see him the following day after I explained that I took two tests and had to confirm my pregnancy and another doctor Ive been going to I went to their office and I couldnt get anything done: I walked in with my fiancé and dr Fernandez asked about us explained his practice and started to joke. He asked if the other place did my blood work and I said yes that I wanted to just see the baby . He said oh let me see if I can get this done for you. I was 6 weeks pregnant and the ultra sound tech was leaving. He asked her to just take a second to check me just to even see anything. They laid me down and sure enough I saw my little peanut . I almost cried because an Obgyn I was going to for years wouldnt do anything for me and finally just drew up my blood work to confirm the pregnancy. We left and from that day we knew he was our doctor. The staff there is amazing they know you by name even their receptionist . They all get to know you so personally. At 29 weeks pregnant I woke up vomiting which was weird because I never had morning sickness. After a few hours of non stop vomiting I went to the hospital. We were rushed up to L&D and they stated I had to wait for my doctor and put me IV. Dr Fernandez showed up within 2 hours of me being there and ran tests. Long story short we thought it was my appendix but it was just a virus but for the day and a half I was there he never left my side constantly checking on me. Closer to the end of my pregnancy I went in at 37 weeks and they found out that my sons fluid had dropped and i would have to be induced. After 30 hours and 3 types of medications to try and induce I was tired of not contracting and broke down and he came into the room and spoke me through it because he knew I wanted to do everything to avoid a c section. After 51 hours of being induced and every mediciation being at the highest that they could be, still no contractions. The babys heartrate started to drop and the fluid too low I had to get a c section. On the follow up date (1 day after going home) I had to get my staples taken out (I had both staples and stitches) . My son would not sleep the first day and cried and I couldnt figure out why. Sure enough I went to get my staples removed and I was a mess. (I found out he was being underfed btw). The entire staff and the Dr. spoke to me to make sure I was alright before leaving. They became so dear to me and Dr. Fernandez was a big part of my support system. I love them all and especially him. I was sad to walk out for a while and to know next few weeks I wont be there. My pregnancy journey with them was beautiful and I cannot wait to have my second child with them.

My experience wast very great. Went to Dr Fernandez for a pill prescription and see which one would be the best for me. I am a smoker and have also trombosis history in my family, he talked to me for maybe 5 min total, (after a 30 min wait) prescribed me a pill he said was good, but didt explain anything about it. The first week was fine, but after 7 days I started to have a huge pain in my legs, was hurting so much espacialy with the heat outide. Had to call my boyfriend and he brought me to hospital. Nothing too serious I had no blood clots thank god, but I was retaining tons of water and had to stop the pill right away. I think that if he took more time to talk to me and care more about my health that wouldt happened. I am 22 years old and never had a problem like this before, now I am scared to try any other birth control!!
