The Dentist is knowledgable and always awesome, girls in the back are always super nice! Front desk girls could learn some friendliness....

Regular dentist experience wentin looking to get a cracked tooth pulled. They wanted me to wait to take antibiotics and pain meds. Went home took a nap went to pick up my meds. They didnt send in my prescription had to call back up to the dentist office to have my script resent to the store 4 hrs later. Very Unprofessional smh

I had a tooth break over the weekend and I was terrified to go to any office . They took me in right away here and really took care of me it was the most relaxing and painless procedure I’ve ever had done. I can’t recommend this office enough! Thank you guys for saving my smile !

Very inexperienced Staff. You will leave in pain every time even for cleanings. If it does not come up on the X-Ray all knowledge goes out the window. Ego driven Dentist’s. Very lazy/non-professional atmosphere. Be prepared to feel judged.

Fiancé went in yesterday to get a tooth pulled, well he had infection so after having it pulled, they were supposed to send antibiotics, I have fought with them all day and even had his mother go up there to get the prescription, and all we can get is that they’ll give me a call as soon as the doctor is out of surgery! I received no phone call and got no prescription. You’d think they’d be concerned about the infection and actually want to get him his medication.

Everyone was nice. The one thing that bothered me was that the the assistant had very long hair that needed to be output back while cleaning my child’s teeth. It was getting in the way of the cleaning. I just wanted to go over there an hold her hair back.

The staff was wonderfully nice however.It took me an hour to get called back and then I was told to come back later.

I got a crown done with Dr. Kotha and he did an amazing job. I have anxiety when I go to the dentist and he made sure I was comfortable the entire time during the procedure. The dental assistant and staff were so nice to! Overall was a great experience!

Dr Nguyen is amazing! So gentle and kind.

I would of been more satisfied if they didnt take so long to get me in. I sat for an hr. Before going back then i sat for a good while waiting for me to see the dentist. I think the problem is he is only dentist there at this facility that accepts humana insurance. I didnt have much of a choice hes the only dentist in town that takes humana.

Dr. Kotha removed my wisdom teeth a year ago and he was fantastic! Their staff put me at ease and overall it was the best experience I’ve had at a dentist office. I will be coming back here for any future work!

I just want to start off and thank Familia Dentals and their Staff, they held a customer appreciation event Saturday April,17h, they gave out information about their services, food, and toothbrushes, other venders as myself attended the FREE event. The kids enjoyed the mascots Tooth & Fairy. I was able to get my mother-in-law and my husband and kids set up for cleanings. NOTE event was Sat. their appointments were the that Tuesday. i highly recommend Familia Dental here in Hobbs. service was fast and easy and the wait time wasnt long.

I have not had a problem with the dentists but the staff has been another issue entirely. Payment issues or treatment plan issues. Twice now they haven’t provided a complete cleaning but charged my insurance. Payment amounts can change between the time I am quoted snd the actual service. This is very frustrating because it is now my job to get answers.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE THAT I’VE HAD WITH A DENTIST OFFICE. The staff was very helpful and the customer service was 2nd to NONE. They took their time to explain EVERYTHING to me and even more importantly the care that they gave me during my exam and treatment was so different from any other place that I’ve been. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I went in today to get my tooth filled from a cavity that was bothering me n my experience there was awesome the dentist made sure that I was not in pain and his assistant made sure I was ok asking me every 5 minutes if I was doing ok I will and do recommend familia dental to everyone that needs a dentist they get 5 stars from me for sure !!! thank you !! The first appointment that I made for my family at this location had to be rescheduled because they had us down as self-pay or Medicare Medicaid when I told them at the time of making my appointment that I had insurance. When I made an appointment for my son’s braces that he has already had on for a year they said that I needed a consultation even though I had told them that we had moved and that it is almost time for the braces to come off and that is what I was wanting so I had to reschedule that appointment as well because the orthodontist wasn’t going to be in on the original day that I had scheduled him. We then had an appointment for some cavities to be filled in made at the office and the office had canceled that appointment and had scheduled him for One day earlier. But when they rescheduled him they put him down for a cleaning and not a filling. The office personnel do not know what they’re doing or how to schedule appointments and manage patients and check insurance. I am definitely no longer using Familia dental.

This is not a bad place to go if you are paying out of pocket, but I would not recommend the Hobbs branch if you plan to use insurance. I have experienced multiple issues trying to use my insurance. I began using insurance during my orthodontic treatment. I asked the front desk if my payments would be decreased and they said that the payment would still be the same up front but I would be getting a credit from my insurance company. I contacted my insurance company and they explained that this was incorrect. The insurance company credits go to Familia Dental not to myself. Familia Dental was receiving my full out of pocket payment as well as payments from my insurance company. After calling the main Familia Dental office, I was credited back the amount the insurance had covered. In a recent appointment I was told my annual coverage amount on my insurance was maxed out and asked to pay out of pocket. After contacting my insurance company I was told I still had 37% of my annual coverage amount left which was more than enough to cover the procedure we were billed for. I have been to both the Hobbs and the Lubbock branch. I have had no issues using insurance in Lubbock which tells me its not a Familia Dental issue its the Hobbs branch that is troublesome.

I had a good experience with them they are very kind and nice. Understanding when I told them I was so nervous today. Everything went good! Honestly I was just over thinking too much about it. Definitely recommend people to go to Dr Seung Jung.

They were so sweet. Even with the pandemic going on and everyone going in and out they were very helpful in answering questions. They were also very gentle with x-rays and cleaning my teeth!

We had the most great experience ever at this dental office. Called in and was seen that sameday mind you, she was a new patient. I definitely recommend this place.

They took my insurance that I had through my employer. I was able to get an appointment right away. The updated x-rays were quick and efficient. The exam and cleaning was efficient and painless. I was even able to get a copy of my x-ray images. Would highly recommend for people who travel around for work or have limited schedules.

Went in today just to see if I could make an appointment and they fit me in right then and there. Was happy with their service and hospitality. I was greeted with a smile by everyone behind the front desk. Would recommend them anytime.

I went in to get a tooth pulled my appt was at 11:30am in september but i got there at 10:30. I sat for an hour waiting for someone to even come look at my tooth finally when the dentist comes in he looks in my mouth for 2 seconds says my tooth is to complicated to pull out today and reschedules me for november. He tells the assistant to reschedule he is going to lunch i was furious and after this tooth ill be finding a new dentist they are a joke and if i could leave a review with less than 1 star I would.

Staff was very rude . Waited 45 minutes for a cleaning when there were only 3 people in building.

I have used Dr. Kotha for a number of years. We started with pulling a tooth that I broken while on vacation. From that point I have continued seeing him and I now have a very nice set of upper and lower dentures. Dr. Kotha and his staff are always very nice and courteous

Loved the Dentist, but theyre communication is horrible.They told me when I had all my teeth removedIt would be 2 weeks then make my dental plates. Told me everything was already approved by insuranceBefore they even started removing them. Go in to have gums checked they tell me they have to getdentures approved say it will take 2 to 3 weeks longer, finally approved go to get molds for denturesTell me in about 2 weeks theyll be in. 4 weeks later call me tell me there in get into office wrong again2nd set of molds done, be in 10 days to 2 weeks. Almost 3 weeks later still not in get told should be in11 more days the company told them.I do not recommended them for any denture work unless u want to go 3 to 4 months without any teeth.

I am certain I speak for many, visiting a dentists office can be pretty daunting. This being my first experience; however, was not the case. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. I was very pleased with the initial consultation, knowing exactly what procedures needed to be done, and was scheduled the next available date prior to my departure. First dentist for my 3 and 2 year old kids, each time has been great. Dr Jung was very patient with them. Also the nurses very nice!!

Loved my experience with Dr. Jung. He was gentle. He didn’t overwhelm me with procedures that I need to have done. He gave me a simple plan and I will continue to get my dental work done with Familia Dental. I forgot to mention that the staff was very nice and helpful when I had questions.

I got to sit in a waiting room, for almost an hour... Got into a room, that probably hasnt been cleaned since the place opened... watched staff use their bare hands on open equipment, that is supposed to go in my mouth... Also noticed, that the color markings on the sterilization packages, were not the color that represents them being ran through a sterilization machine... makes me not want them to even get money, from my insurance company, let alone my own....

The dental office and exam area were very clean. Also the front desk staff were very nice & helpful. Even though on this visit I didnt see the main dentist for the treatment I needed the Dr I did see was very informative & referred me to a great specialist to take care of what I needed done.

Much Bigger office now and better service. Great reasonable pipri for a cleaning and X-rays. Overall happy, like most Dentistrys around this area they where busy with other patients but I understand, the main Dentist take their time with each patient.

We walked in and weren’t greeted by staff, which then led to us signing in on the dental sheet instead of the Ortho. We waited for about 20 minutes when a lady was called before us that enter after us. I asked whether we were called and the staff member said that we were next and that we signed the wrong sheet. Again, if we would have been greeted that wouldn’t have occurred. My nephew’s appointment was at 3...it’s now 5:10 and he is still in the back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had all my worries and pain taken care of in a matter of minutes. Loved how attentive the nurse was in making sure I was comfortable cause I just about got up and left thinking the worse. Will be going back.

Ive been here several times to see Dr Parker. He knows exactly what he is doing and if very nice. I would definitely recommend this dentist office. The ladies at the front desk are very kind and helpful, the dental hygienists have never hurt me when cleaning my teeth or dealing with any problems and the Dr is very kind.

Other than the initial paperwork taking forever and being ridiculously redundant, our family had a very pleasant experience. The dental staff was friendly, although the front desk staff not so much. (You know ladies it wouldnt hurt you to crack a smile.)🙂Our cleanings were quick for having five people getting work done and the pricing was very reasonable.

There is one receptionist that is so rude she acts like we’re asking her to pay for our services she looks at everyone with an ugly face if she doesn’t like her job then she needs to stay home or find a different job

Horrible place. They screwed my appointment. No one called to confirm. The receptionist had horrible attitude! Dont Waste your time making appointments over here! They will screw with your appointment. I have waited four hours to then be seen as a walk-in. My appointment was at nine in the morning! Horrible business! They even charged my card twice!

Called in the morning and was squeezed into the schedule a few hours later. All work that needed to be done was done that day. Dentist was great and explained everything and all staff was nice and helpful. Would recommend them!

Very friendly. I had to have an extraction, doctor gave me amoxicillin to get rid of any infections and ibuprofen for the pain. They were wonderful. I forgot my purse and I couldn’t go back because they were closed. We asked for help on Facebook and one worker said that she texted her team that was still working there to hold the purse for me. They waited after closing hours so that I could drive there from Lovington to retrieve it. I’m so grateful 🙏🏽

I completely regret having my daughter get braces here. My son had braces with Dr. Lunardon and it was a great experience. A friend of mine was working at Familia Dental and asked if I would have my daughter get braces with them. Reluctantly, I did. She has had her braces on for 9 months and has seen the orthodontist 3 or 4 times. The orthodontist only comes one Friday and Saturday a month. My daughter is active in sports and had a lot of sporting events on the two days a month the orthodontist came to the Hobbs office. The staff is not very friendly. Scheduling appointments is a nightmare! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere more professional and caring. This is definitely not the place!

I was not pleased with my visit at all the front desk has horrible to me and was called a liar by a girl called sulema she had horrible attitude and was on her phone all the time.

Honestly, the staff was super friendly! My dentist and dental assistant was extremely caring and really helped me get through my anxiety about going to the dentist! He was honest and reassuring and that really made a huge difference!

The staff was all super friendly from from counter to the back office . I had a good experience. I also really like that in the waiting area they have a closed in jungle gym for the kids to occupy them.

Other than the occasional wait, all went really well.The dentist was very good. After having four fillings removed and redone again, I have no problems with pain, chewing, or flossing! Finally I found a good dentist !
