Was relaxing yes, but no deep tissue. And when i ask directly again for deep tissue my one hour is up. Hmm. Keep trying to sell me on up charges and etc. $75 Ive gotten MUCHHH better. I dont normally write negative reviews but this place needs to render the service requested. If you have options probably keep it moving, i was traveling and needed a tighten up and everybody else was booked. Yu Spa, if you read this get timers, quit trying to get over on people, and just chill, well come back if done right. 🙄

When I called to ask for pricing and availability I was quoted a price of $55.00 for an hour massage. When I got there 30 minutes later, the price was $75.00 an hour. After a long conversation I decided to agree to the price since it was Sunday and no other appointments were available. The massage was given with little to no effort and then the masseuse asked if I wanted hot rocks I agreed. When she was Don she ran my card for $95.00. Shes said the rocks were an additional $35.00 but gave me a price break. RIP-OFF... DO NOT GO THERE!... You are fairly warned of my experience...

Do not go Yu Spa and Massage because they will overcharge you. Recently went their because my back and neck needed a massage. Beginning of service, price have been quoted. After service done, price is totally different when you get ready to pay at the counter. Upset they do not speak good English and they want you to give them a tip.

The massage was great but every time I’ve been there was a lot of talk in between the walls during the massage which makes it a little uncomfortable. The hot rocks and the body scrub are definitely worth it !! I recommend it ! Very relaxing time.

I have had a few massages here and overall, I thought I was getting a good massage for the money spent. I only know of 3 massage places in Hinesville, and this is the #3 location. You will appreciate a massage a lot more given by someone who has obviously been trained/schooled in massage therapy.I have to agree with a few of the other reviewers that, asking if the customer wants the scrub in the middle of the massage is not a great idea. A massage from this location is OK.

I would never return here. First of all they change the prices from the time you call to the time you walk in (literally a 15 min difference). I was told on the phone it was $65 for an hour, then when I got there she said $75. Alright, I can brush that off. Well then 10 min into the massage she asks if I want “dkjdjsjs” that’s literally what I heard. She repeated it 3x and finally I thought I heard sugar so I said “sugar scrub?” She said yes do you want to add, I said no I’m fine. She must’ve only heard me say “I’m fine” and took that as a yes? Idk but she brings in the scrub. It wasn’t bad or anything but she brings it in and says okay $35 more. All while I have my face down and can’t understand her nor can she understand me. Well she didn’t scrub any of the front of me at all, I mean the front of my legs would’ve been nice. It was only used on the back that’s it. KICKER. We get to the end and I’m checking out and she asks what I want to put for tips. Quite frankly I didn’t enjoy the massage at all, and there was so much anxiety and confusion I just said yeah I’ll tip $10. She said “no you’ll tip $20” 😳 No I said $10 “No you tip 20% $20 okay” she takes my card and says okay all done have a nice day.Excuse me! This is not how this should work and I have already started a dispute process with my bank. Ridiculous. Plus today is my birthday just to top that all off.

A couple of things here...I wish I could understand them better, but I understand there is a language barrier there. I did not like how in the middle of massage they asked if I wanted to add a scrub. They should ask the client about adding these extras at the desk. Although the scrub was great! I honestly could’ve gone without. Secondly, be aware that different cultures are accustomed to different ways. I believe the masseuse should stick to making sure the draping technique is being used at all times. The massage did not last a full 60 minutes. And I wish it was a little bit more tougher. It was relaxing so I’ll give it that. But the fact that the draping technique was not used was a bit uncomfortable , and I felt like I definitely overpaid is the reason for my 3 star.

So, I paid $110 for a massage that was done with baby lotion and an unlabeled bottle of oil. The scrub that was given half way through was done with dove body scrub, I’ve had several massages at nicer establishments, but thought since everything was closed we’d give this place a try for my birthday. With that said, I was disappointed in the quality of massage, it reminded me of my husbands back massages... which are great, but he obviously never had formal training. It did not last the full 60 minutes and I felt like I was handled roughly. I prefer a deep tissue massage, and I am far from sensitive, but yanking my limbs around and leaving me completely uncovered felt unprofessional and rushed. I will not be going back, but I hope they improve!! Ladies were fairly polite, but the waiting room was noisy and I could hear the commotion throughout the entirety of the massage. 10/10 do not recommend.

This place is so horrible they lie about prices they try to charge you for as many different things as they can while you getting massage they demand you give them tip and dont think anybody there is licensed to massage

Worst massage Ive ever had, was like rubbing lotion on me and pretty sure she had never gone to school for massage. Was rude when I gave her a tip.... seriously who is rude when they are getting a tip? Save your money and go somewhere else.

The environment is warm, the masseur is very professional, the technique is in place, and the experience is good.

Massage was good. I asked for a hour for $65 which was on their website. I was told it was now 75 ,I think she said because I was big and she had to work harder. No problem $75 . I repeated it. At end bill was $95 plus tip. . I was going to give 65 plus 25 tip. So I dropped $100 , just felt I was ripped off. Not going back

The Yu Spa has a wonderful, attentive, and pleasant staff who really take care of their clients! I always feel much better as a result of deep tissue massage particularly since I have issues with my neck and lower back from old injuries. And the reflexology worked with the foot massages is so relaxing they can put you right to sleep! The spa has a very relaxing atmosphere that I recommend highly if youre looking to ease the stress and relax!

It was my husband and I going for our first couples massage and it was AMAZING! He had a deep tissue massage and I had a Sweedish massage. We both were completely satisfied and felt so good walking out! Cant wait to go back! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Well first She burned me with the hot rocks and gave me a deep tissue instead of what I asked for which was a Swedish. Its like i was being bullied by both of the women upfront to pay for something I didnt ask for. I will not be back.

Great massage but the fact that you insisted I tip you $20 after I’m already paying $135 is ridiculous. No one should be told how much to tip, especially if you don’t have a policy in place stating I tip a certain percentage. Was having a great time up until that point. Really disappointed!!!!!!

When my husband and I got there the first thing I noticed was the strong chemical smell that I know from nail salons. We had scheduled an appointment for 1 pm and were there right on time, noone was there to greet us and so we sat down on the couch. Every now and then a lady peeked out of one of the rooms but noone acknowledged us, greeted us or checked us in. We waited 50(!!!!) Minutes past our appointment time until we were finally asked in the massage rooms and told they were sorry and forgot us. At this point we were already pretty upset. The deep tissue massage was ok, nothing great. We paid with a gift certificate and they asked us about tip which at that point we then denied. The smell was bothersome the entire time and we will not be back.

Terrible staff, terrible service, and terrible experience. Paid for a couples deep tissue massage and half way through, our people left and their replacements continued with a Swedish massage. They made it mandatory for a tip even after I was overcharged. I was, however, able to return later for a refund after speaking with the manager.

The massage table sheets were dirty 🤢! And the front desk lady was like demanding which massage services Im gonna get rather than suggesting services to me as a customer. Additionally, the lady that massaged me tried to demand what tip amount I should have gave to her!? I mean like seriously who does that??? Give me a break!! Will not be returning!

The couples massage is not done in the same room. All the previous couples massages Ive had are done in the same room and at the same time. The lady spent almost the entire duration on my back and 1 minute on my arms and legs.

This place is Amazing. I liked the fact that as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a friendly face. It is the place to go for any type of massage and the deep tissue massage is beyond belief. This is Definately my number one massge spot.

I usually tip for any service that I receive. However I was still in pain after the massage so I told the manager that I was only gonna tip $2. And she basically tried to tell me that I have to tip more. Of course I refused and she still added a dollar into the tip. My first time leaving a negative review by the way.

I had made an appt for an hour massage and foot scrub. The lady over the phone confirmed everything. When i got there the next day they had no appointment set up but they still took me. When i asked about my foot scrub the lady did not understand english too much and the guy there was just from a real estate. Anyways i told them the website has foot scrubs for 10.00.and i had it confirmed the day before. They said we dont do foot scrubs sorry. I cant complain about the price of the massage but two days later my body was very sore. Maybe the massage was too rough.
