I dont give five star reviews for anything. But the people Ive met that work for LCRD are what make these parks great! From the guys that cut the grass to the Ladies that make sure the bathrooms are perfect, an the people that manage these parks. It is my opinion that this is what makes these parks worth visiting. There is true pride in giving you the best recreation sites to visit.

Clean. Well mowed. Bathrooms are even passable.

Soccer fields are a hit or miss. Even in perfectly dry weather; I reasonably called twice, as I was instructed (so that they can check for availability and such) and the admin lady told me that the fields are closed. Tried a few times, when weather was nice, no luck, gates shut. I understand when it’s rainy, the field needs recovering .. but on a plain middle of the day 3pm, facilities should be open. It’s really hard to get any free time nowadays, so people need to understand that every minute outside is precious.

Rented Stafford pavilion and the facility was clean and has everything you need for any event. Affordable prices ac/heat, kitchen, running space for children. Plenty of parking. I will use this place time and time again. Great staff and timely return on safety deposit

Not sure if bug control is a priority down there or something they can do for sand gnats. I put on OFF twice in 2 hours and still got ate up!
