Simply a great place to get your prescription. I had my glasses made elsewhere, but they felt off a little bit so I asked them if they could check them to see whether it was the prescription or the glasses that were at fault. They did it super fast and free of charge.

I have worn glasses since I was about 6 and am now 67 so Ive a bit of experience with eye glass providers. My experience with Vivid has been exemplary. One trait that I find that Dr Lynch has is that rare commodity of common sense. Rather than simply trusting technology, Dr Lynch took me outside to validate my prescription in real life. My experience with Dr Lynch and the staff of Vivid has been that theyve gone the extra mile to keep me happy and to keep my eyes healthy. I would definitely recommend this place which is why I want to be that guy and give an amazing review because I satisfied. Me and my Mom are definitely not new to glasses providers so I feel as I have a pretty good indication of what standards the society we live in can appreciate and I must share my view point so that you may also decide for yourself. This is definitely by far one I can appreciate. I had not gotten my glasses yet and It has been 10 days and they have lacked in meeting the time expectation they apologized. I had trouble finding glasses because they were all so great with a variety of up to date styles. They are a small business but by far offer customer service superior to providers such as lens craft, Keizer, and even smaller Lenz companies such as Pacific Eye clinic or Lenza Eye Center. At this location is Dr. Rosales is a professional, he took time to explain ANY question I had and offered kindness that didnt go under the radar. His staff also makes you feel like home and are all very assertive in assisting. I can admire their customer service especially when they are small business and have more focus on monitoring there customers. There office feels vibrant with random decorations and offers different styles while youre browsing. If you want a quality eye exam come here, the only thing I felt disappointed in was there mirrors which become an inconvenience. I understand that covid may be the cause of some of the delay in me receiving my glasses but they apologized in advance and acknowledge that there would be a delay in my glasses. They even call to apologize for the delay. Like I said I am only comparing my experience with other companies and they exceed in customer service. Consider this place for yourself and family.

This was my first time at Vivid. I dont wear glasses or contacts, but havent had my eyes checked in years, so just went in for an eye exam. It was easy, comfortable and high tech. Dr. Rosales was very nice, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, explained everything and answered all my questions. Fortunately I have 20/20 vision, but got an optional prescription for distance/night driving. So I decided to get glasses for that. Mai was very helpful, she explained my insurance benefits and helped me pick a cool, classy, unique frame. No sales pressure. She showed me many options and was patient while I decided. The next day I randomly got an email blast from them with a $50 off promotion discount for a frame. Since I just bought my glasses the day before, I emailed and asked if they would honor the discount for me. I expected a no or no reply at all, but Brianne responded and said yes they would give me a credit/refund. Wow! This place is so friendly, professional and take care of their clients. I definitely recommend and will return for any future eye care needs!

My wife wife and I have been coming here for over 4 years. Dr. Knutson is so nice. Super thorough and explains everything she is doing and why. She is so nice and willing to listen to every concern or question. All of the front desk techs are friendly and very helpful. I can tell you this was not a one time experience. It is always the same. Very friendly and very comfortable atmosphere. Never feel pressured to buy anything and they let you just look around until you are ready. They even know what your particular insurance company covers. So no kind financial surprises.

Best eye care providers I have been! I have random questions every time I am in and they are answered without hesitation! Ive worked with Dr. Lynch mostly but all providers always smile when theyve made contact in the clinic. They have a great selection on glasses and sunglasses as well. They do online contact orders which makes it easier to get what I need without calling or walking in, much appreciated! Overall, I feel heard and appreciated as a patient.

I have been going here for a few years now and have no complaints. Dr. Knutson is awesome. She is thorough and explains everything from my exam and if I have any concerns she answers them. The staff is awesome. Im very difficult when choosing eyeglass styles and they are always patient with me and make sure I leave satisfied. Wait time is quick (no more than 10 minutes). This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with an eye doctor. I was having some concerns after a LASIK surgery and I got more information about my eyes and surgery from Doctor Rosales here at Vivid than I had from my own surgeon! The level of detail that was explained to me was so appreciated and though the doctor must have to say the same things multiple times each day he was pleasant and patient with me and my questions. I can not think of another place I’d want to go for my or my wife’s vision needs!

Pathetic service is the least I can describe ; Optometrist swamped with so many clients they hardly has time to properly diagnose patience issues;Especially if you are planning to consult regarding contact lens then be prepared for bout & make sure you have enough balance in your card/account along with ample time you waste on your eye health;I went to replace my contact lens, after assessment optometrist suggested the power & pair of lens for trial week usage, this lead to irritation of eyes, then next visit optometrist recommended eye drops for irritation that lead to allergy, for allergy recommendation was to make use of steroids; I was fed up by that time & didn’t take any recommended steroids but tried my previous pair of contact lens; Issue resolved no irritation, allergy ..etc etc. Luckily I had one spare part of my travel pack that helped me else they would have taken me to level of surgery;If you are not bothered about your eye health then you can visit this place;

First experience with Vivid Eye Care and Dr. Lynch. I usually go to Costco because I dont have optical insurance, but decided to try someplace new to receive a more personal touch. Vivid has a beautiful, newly decorated showroom and exam area. The front office staff was friendly, and acknowledged me immediately. I went in here for the first time literally ready to purchase new glasses. I brought in my prescription and already had a frame in mind in case I didn’t find anything in the store.Ended up walking away because of the awful service.From the beginning, this woman at the front already had an attitude, didn’t bother to greet us, just a “Can I help you? Do you have an appointment?” After explaining that I brought in my prescription and wanted to purchase eyeglasses, she had issues with trying to pull up my insurance. That’s understandable, normally, except this associates looked like every extra step she had to take to find my insurance (different ways of looking me up, calling my insurance, etc.) was causing her the biggest inconvenience. Keep in mind, this was early Saturday morning and they were not busy at all and only had 1 or 2 people in store.Then came time to order the eyeglass frames I wanted. She barely explained any of the materials I was getting. She constantly would start asking me a question or explaining something, only to stop mid sentence and walk off as she looked down at her papers. Forget a smile or any sort of basic customer service at this point. As she finally finished processing everything, she quoted me a higher price than I was expecting to pay. I was so set on getting new glasses that I still would’ve bought it at the higher price had it been anyone else. But with the absolutely atrocious customer service, no way I was giving this woman my money. Unsurprisingly, she had an attitude and nearly forgot to return my prescription back to me. My only regret is not getting her name, but it’s the dirty blonde woman with the blue rimmed glasses.The store selection itself was okay and the other two associates in the store were very nice and I’m sure my experience here would have been completely different had they helped me instead. Having worked in customer service for years, I am normally very patient and understand that everyone has their ups and downs. But I had to leave because I was starting to get heated. I rarely ever write reviews (unless it’s a positive one), but the customer service of this particular associate was so above and beyond horrible that I had to post this.

I have been a client of Vivid Eye Care for several years now, and have been very happy with the way I have been treated by them. The staff is very courteous and pleasant, and Dr. Lynch is always very prompt and on time with her appointments. Was on business travel and had an issue that required a visit to Vivid. I called to see if they could see me on that day and they told me to come right in. I was seen within 30 min of my call and was provided the care needed within a short time later. I went back for a follow up two days later and was in and out in no time. Dr. Lynch was great and very friendly. Even though I dont live in the Hillsboro area I may keep Dr. Lynch as my regular optometrist as I visit for business on a very regular basis. I had this issue for a few years while here in San Diego, but the eye surgeon I saw could not give me an explanation as to why I was experiencing the problem. After talking to Dr. Lynch, my mind was put at ease, and the problem was a simple fix! This place is the greatest!!

I have been seeing Dr. Knutson for several years. At each visit she has been prompt, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Once I called to schedule an appointment for a week out. Shortly after scheduling I got a call back from the office staff. Dr. Knutson was reviewing her schedule and was concerned about the symptoms I was having so she moved me to an opening she had the same day to make sure the issue was dealt with as soon as possible.The office is clean and welcoming. Office staff are friendly and always able to answer my questions about insurance benefits.

I honestly dont know how this clinic went downhill so fast. 1st of all there is a new guy that works there that has absolutely no idea what hes doing . I went there to try a sample pair of contacts cause I ran out, and Im a -8 which is bad. The guy says they dont hand out samples, when they always give me a sample pair to try out before ordering. I tell him this and he walks to the back to find out comes back and says they cant do that. So ok, I ordered a sample pair. The new employee calls me the day after, asking if I want to order a box I said I have to wait to try the new contacts to see if they work. He then asks me if I want to order a sample pair..ok I thought he had already done that. So I told him to please order them. I was told they would be there on Monday. Keep in mind it was Wednesday when all this was happening. I show up Monday to pick up my contacts and the employees at the front desk are clueless of whats going on. The new employee is there and says I left you a message to see if you wanted to order your sample pair I told him yes I heard the message... and called you right away.. as in I spoke to you shortly after that and you were going to order contacts.. he starts looking at all his notes completely clueless of what hes doing and finally anther gal that works there came to help. She went to the back and guess what... she grabbed a sample pair of contacts for me. She then told him that he didnt need to order a pair because they have them in stock. I finally had contacts and could see!! I was pretty upset at the fact that I was almost a week without contacts basically blind, when all he had to do was ask someone in the building who knew what they were doing for help. Well I call 3 weeks after cause the contacts worked out just fine but guess what I was told... they couldnt order 1 box per eye, which was all I needed till my insurance renewed so they could only order 6 boxes per eye or 12.. and that I would get a discount. I said I didnt need that much. Again, she tried convincing me that I needed a 12 pack.. I once again said I only need 1 box.. finally she said they couldnt do that. Ive just about had it with this place I have never been to a clinic more money hungry than this one. Take your business elsewhere and avoid all these headaches.

We really like the convenient location, as it is close to our home and work. Our doctors prescription is on par, and selection & price of frames/lenses are very reasonable. I visited Dr. Linda for my annual eye exam and I was very happy with my experience. Dr. Linda was friendly and she took the time to answer all of questions without rushing me or making me feel dumb. I also appreciate that she was on time for the appointment, so I didnt need to spend a lot of time waiting.

The staff at Vivid Eye care is warm, caring, helpful and great at helping my family with their changing eye care needs. Weve been going here for YEARS and even moved with Dr. Knutson and Mai when they switched offices a few years back. And it wouldnt be fair to mention Dr. Lynch because shes fabulous also. Dr Lynch has been looking after my contact lens and glasses needs for the last couple of years and I have to say that the service has been exemplary. I cant remember ever having to wait, read a magazine in a waiting room or suffer delays in lens delivery. She addressed all the old allergy/lens comfort issues that I had been suffering with from previous suppliers. I cant recommend Vivid Eye Care highly enough.

I dont understand the ratings for this place.I ordered two pairs of glasses from here. Each time I had to call them to find out they arrived. They had no sample construction frames available. There was no complimentary cleaning cloths or glass cleaner with order. I have had one adjustment since my purchase. They did not have extra cleaning cloths in stock.This is like going to the doctors office, and they are out of band aids! In my mind, there are three things are optometrists office should have plenty extra. Glass cases, cleaning cloths,and solution.The optometrist was fine. The customer service and follow up care is awful.I will be returning to my old optometrist office when i decide to purchase a new frame.He is always has excellent followup care and maintenance......even a thank you note for purchase.Just an opportunity to let others know, dont expect superior follow up care from here. They need to visit Eyes on Broadway to see awesome customer service and follow up care in action. Yes, i will shamelessly plug them:) I am so sad i tried this shop due to living on westside. I will be traveljng to the eastside.

**EDIT: After speaking to the office several times, my situation has been resolved. I spoke to one of the owners and was told that the doctor I saw was new to the practice and, in turn, not as familiar with the scheduling procedures. After speaking to Dr. Knutson, I was able to schedule a quick training for this evening with Dr. Knutson and Caroline. I appreciate that Dr. Knutson was very professional and helpful in resolving this issue. Even with all the back and forth during this process, the people a Vivid Eye Care seem like nice, professional people. Also, my experience with the front desk staff and Caroline, the tech, was pleasant. In the end, I think this is a vision care provider that I would go back to, but I would make sure that I am clear on all necessary information before the appointment begins.**I went in for a contact fitting. After the doctor did the fitting, he said that someone will be in after him to do training with me for contact removal and that I would have a follow up in a week to finalize everything. At the end of the appointment, I am told the tech cannot do the training right now, you will have to make another appointment for it. Then I go up to the front desk to make the follow up appointments and am told the tech cant do any evening or weekend appointments so Id have to take time off work 3 times total to get these contacts. I am charged the contact fitting fee before I completed the series of contact fitting appointments and I do not get any contact prescription information before paying them their fee. Absolutely nothing was communicated clearly. I highly recommend that you go to a vision care provider who will be clear and upfront with you.

Was told it would be 10 business days to get my eyeglasses, It took almost a month and a half. When I called to ask about where my glasses were they said it has been here the whole time and that they did not have a number to reach me at, but yet they called that previous month to confirm my appointment? I was also told my glasses arrived on the 8th of feb, but I called on the 12th and was told they were still not there and that they would call me as soon as they get in.

I couldnt be more pleased by the level of services at the Hillsboro office-especially by Dr.Goins and his staff. . I am currently going through cataract surgery and he has explained each step clearly which I appreciate. THIS REVIEW SHOULD HAVE BEEN CREDITED TO THE HILLSBORO EYE CLINIC. NOT VIVID EYE CARE AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE.
