I take my 5 children here and have had a great experience every time for several years. My youngest daughter had a prescription at the beginning of the pandemic. They drove to their downtown location and made sure her glasses were mailed to us since they were closed. Great service!

Many people review based on taste. My review is simple business. The doctor is terrific, but the office staff is awful. After I had my eye exam, I found that I never got any calls. As days turned into weeks, I started calling to follow up. When calling, they hung up on me twice, didnt answer the phone at all twice, and once sent me to some doctor that doesnt even work at that location. 5 weeks to get glasses when 1-2 weeks had been quoted. The glasses felt funny, so I checked the frame out in the parking lot and the metal wire attaching the nose pads was clearly damaged and needed to be replaced. I eventually went through their corporate office and got things fixed at a different store. In the end, the glasses fit well, and I would recommend their product. But I would save yourself the headaches and go to some other location.

The place is like an assembly line. To say that it is neither customer friendly nor family friendly is an understatement. I am a single dad managing two teenagers full time in Virtual school while trying to work at home we were 11 minutes late for our appointment because we got lost. Too bad for us, they cut you off at 10 minutes sharp. It took me a month to get the original appointment and another 3 weeks to reschedule. Not sure that were going to go back I think Id rather find a place that cares about its patients. Healthcare for profit at its worst.

Very unprofessional billing, over charged. I was charged incorrectly. No action was taken even after I called the billing department with the information from my insurance company. I had to follow up the second time, and they still had no idea about the incorrect charge on my bill. In addition, they were friendly when I was making an appointment with them. But the communication about billing and fitting questions turned out to be very poor.

So frustrated after this mornings appointment that Ill be finding another eye care provider for sure.I made an appointment to get an updated glasses prescription and order new contacts, and made it super clear that I had frames at home that I wanted to fill and wanted my prescription printed out.When I got home, I realized they left off the pupil distance, which you have to have to get glasses. When I called to get it, they said Id have to come back in to do it, since I didnt order glasses there.I met with the Dr., explained what I needed several times, and even confirmed with her that she was giving me everything I needed. If these people cant listen to their patients when theyre right in front of them, I definitely dont want to give them my business.Zero stars from me if possible, find another shop.

My family and I saw Dr. June for our annual exam only a few weeks ago. She was very friendly and professional. She very nicely explained everything that we asked with a detailed answer without acting bothered by our many questions/concerns.Carrie at the front desk is amazing and soooo helpful when I ask her for her help so many times. She has gone above and beyond to help me even when I call back into the office for help with getting a copy of my script, etc. She is so kind and professional and extremely easy to interact with. Extremely accommodating to customers even in her front desk position.Rene F., the Optician is fantastic! She is knowledgable and insightful. Rene has great ideas and knows how to get you what you need for your eyes even if youre new to wearing eyeglasses. She fitted my son who has special needs and she was gentle, kind, polite and funny with him. I watched her try so hard to get us the frame that he wanted by calling around to obtain it. When that didnt work she didnt stop presenting ideas and suggestions to help get each of us some glasses. Ive asked her a million questions about this process to help me to find the right style. She is patient and professional. This lady is pretty awesome at what she does! Shes a great asset to this office.

Very poor communication. Kept sending bills even after they had told me I had completely paid my bill. People at the front desk seem confused and untrained. Not very friendly or customer service oriented. I wont use their services again.

I was all set for a normal eye exam, in and out, with a $15 copay, which they ran my credit card for before I even had the paperwork filled out. I have had glasses for 32 years and contacts for 25... It is the same thing each time. This time, after the exam, the counter girl thought she could tack on a fitting fee of $75, after I had supposedly paid. I had no fitting and have not had one since the first time I got the contacts. She insisted that I pay for services not rendered, and after I refused to pay, they billed my insurance. Do not waste your time with this doctors office. Go somewhere, anywhere else. On the upside the completely annoying visit did convince me to check out laser surgery. Now I no longer need the contacts at all and have 20/15 vision, so at least some good came out of the visit.

Thei ophthalmologist is amazing but their front people are just worst customer service people. They treat customers as inconvenience andirritation to them. Seems they hate their job so much. Never coming back to this place again

I honestly like the optometrist there been going to northwest health ever since Ive moved to Oregon. I really dislike the front service sales. I was about to purchase my year supply of contacts which is a great sale for them you would think. I was calling from work and my boss so happened to call me the same time I was on the phone ordering my lenses. I told JULIE I think thats her name can you hold on my boss is calling me on my work phone. After maybe 20 - 30 seconds she trying to get my attention for credit card info. She sounded very rude and annoyed she told me she needs to go lunch now. I told her Im sorry my boss needed something from me I got extremely frustrated with what she said. I told her Ill call back when Im done on then phone with my boss. She said she wont be there when I call back in a wise ass tone and I need to give my info to the other girl there. I honestly rarely complain but that really pissed me off. if I was in sales, I would have said something different rather than what she said. I really want to write a complaint she should learn how to handle situation like that with a little more professionalism and not treat customers like wasting her precious time. Im sure she would still get to go lunch if she was a minute or two past if shes completing a sale! I cannot believe this women works there Ive dealt with her before always had a pushy attitude. You all she go somewhere else if you dont want to be treated like a inconvenience. TERRIBLE F-

Front office staff - unprofessional and rude. Extremely disconnected from helping customers. Dont waste your time or money. (Long time customer) Dr is great, but works with incompetent staff.

They gave me a price before seeing the doctor and after it was 50 dollars more. They did not give me a reason for the price change. Just a paper at the end with my formula for glasses. If you want to go there be careful because they will rip you off.

Friendly staff, short wait time. They are also very flexible if you need to reschedule. I filled out all my paperwork online, and it was all ready for me when I got there. If you are reading other reviews check the date, some of them are really old and may not describe the current staff.

This is the worst place Ive ever been to. I read the reviews and went anyway, because I thought I just want contacts, they cant possibly mess that up, right? Wrong. I went in, waited forever, and had my eye exam. Apparently someone came in with a piece of metal stuck in their eye, so I cant complain too much about the long wait, other than it escapes me why you would go to an eyeglass store instead of a hospital if you happened to get a foreign object lodged in your eye. Anyway, I went through the exam, got my eyes dilated, and was given trial contacts. I complained at the time that my right eye was blurry. The doctor shushed me and sent me on my way, so I ended up not being able to read out of one eye until I gave up on the new prescription until I came back. I ended up paying $170 for the visit, because Im uninsured. That was between $40 and $70 more than what I was quoted over the phone. I finally went back, got my prescription and ordered a $50 box of contacts. The kicker? It turns out the prescription they gave me is identical to my old one. I still dont see well after wasting $220 on nothing. The comments about this business being disorganized is 100% spot on; if you want to know more, read the other reviews. I wouldnt be surprised if anyone walking in wanting Lasik would walk out being permanently blind.

I have hesitated to post this review. Personally, I will never go here again. The doctor is wonderful but the office staff (FRONT LEAD) treated me horribly. Not sure why but when I told her that costco had better customer service, she told me I should go back there. Which is exactly what i will do. I did speak to the Dr. about this situation. Never heard anything back.

The dr and assistant/technician were very kind to me and made my experience great. The front office however is absolutely no good. They overcharged me over 100$ that is covered by my insurance. I had to call my insurance twice and actually had have my mom email someone she knows personally that works for our tribal insurance to sort everything out. Finally I was told I am getting a refund. Before this, the front desk called me at 5:50pm to tell me my eye glasses are ready for pick up. Their hours are 8am-6pm. When I got there the next day to pick them up I made sure they knew the issue with my insurance. The woman at the desk asked the woman helping me with the glasses about the insurance. She proceeded to tell her “ I dont have the insurance information in my hand, I have her glasses in my hand.” When the front desk phoned my insurance, the lady helping me told me “IF you get the refund it could take up to 2-3 weeks. She rolled her eyes over to the side and said “let’s hope it doesn’t take that long” the woman at the desk got off the phone and told me I was not getting a refund and that the insurance was billed correctly. And that’s when I had to go through several phone calls and emails to get the right answer. That in fact, my insurance did cover the 100$+ they overcharged me. I will never be back to this location. I take my business to the eyehealth northwest in Tigard off pacific highway 99. They are great over there
