Sadly, my experience at Highland Optometry was not great. First Id like to say that the staff is great; most everyone was very professional.As I expected, I needed new glasses - bifocals.Progressive lenses were suggested. I was reluctant, and said so, as Ive tried them unsuccessfully, in the past. I was assured that if the progressive lenses didnt work for me, there would not be a problem re-doing glasses with regular lenses. Because of my insurance the difference was $50.00 less for the regular lenses. They failed to mentioned though, that no refund of the difference would be given to me. That seemed odd to me so I spoke with Debbie the owners wife, who took a few days to come up with a solution. Her solution was a 20% discount on another pair! Debbie acknowledged the $50.00 difference but told in so many words that the 20% discount was the best she would offer me.Based on the other reviews, Im surprised. I was given to believe that this company offered great customer service. Im surprised that $50.00 carried so much weight to the business.

This was my first visit to this office. I saw Dr. Stinson. He is very knowledgeable. This was the most thorough eye exam that I have ever had! The staff here are very efficient and friendly. They have a large assortment of glasses to choose from. I was very pleased and will be back every year.

Definitely recommend! We have received our familys optometry services here for over 2 years. The office is clean, the staff are professional and it is easy to get an appointment (even for multiple family members). The exam is thorough and conducted with updated technology. The doctor is friendly and knowledgeable.

The doctor was personable, informative when answering my questions and able to offer great advice on future eye care. The technician who helped me choose my frames was cheerful and very helpful throughout the whole process and even helped me save 50% on a second par of glasses. The staff at this office is courteous and personable. I highly recommend this Vision Care office.

Gone there for over 10 years. But last year when I got my glasses I had to go back 3 times before my trifocols were to the point I could use them. Ive had trifocals for several years with no problems. So Ive changed doctors

I wish I had found Dr. Clayville years ago! When my former optometrist retired and a new on took over the practice, I was given a prescription that actually made it more difficult and tiring for me to see and was told that nothing more could be done to compensate for my poor vision. My first pair of glasses from Dr. Clayville dramatically improved my vision and my eyes were no longer tired all the time! He is the best and is more than willing to take the time to explain things. I will never go to anyone else!

If you need optometric care, this IS THE PLACE! Very clean office and waiting area. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. I have been to a couple other eye doctors in SB area - this is the best of the best. You wont be disappointed.

I had left a contact in over night--two nights actually.What resulted was a very painful ulcer close to the pupil.The pain I had during the night was unbelievable.Next morning the staff got me in immediately and within hoursof the right meds, I was feeling relief.My eye was GREAT within just a day or two.I am grateful. I am the wiser.Always take care of contacts BEFORE you get too sleepy!!
