I set up my mother here in Arbor (memory). Truly an amazing experience with all phases of care. This place is very clean and in runs well. The staff is outstanding and very attentive to my moms needs. Even during this COVID crisis my mom has been safe, unaffected, and received all of her vaccine shots. I cant say enough positive remarks about the staff especially the Director Kelli K. She always answers, or returns my calls and is highly experienced in dealing with aging parents needs. I feel fortunate to have found Brightwater and highly recommend them.

Brightwater is a gem in the Inland Empire! If you are considering a senior living facility, you must visit and tour Brightwater. My mom was initially placed at another local senior living facility and we moved her to Brightwater and have not looked back since! Brightwater is a serene place, where a competent and caring staff act as surrogate family members. They, easily, earn a 5-star rating.

Brightwater is a beautiful community, with caring staff. Its beneficial that they have both assisted living and memory care - if a loved ones condition changes, its an easier transition to move to that higher level of care. I also appreciate that Brightwater is civic-minded and actively volunteering in the community.

My Mother has been at Brightwater for over 3 years and, frankly, this has been an answer to my prayers. She is happy, most of the time (isnt that all of us?!) and the staff responds to her needs as she transitions from stage to stage. I feel my Mom and I are lucky to have found Brightwater!🙂

My friend, Gene came to Brightwater while it was still being built. He fell in love with the community and staff and cannot wait to move in. Gene had me check frequently to see when he can move in. As soon as he was able to move-in, Mick and I move him at Brightwater. He was happy then, he is happier now. Hes been in Brightwater for 2 years and he loves it. I come to visit him and occasionally have lunch with him. The food servers are polite and courteous, food is great. Today, I checked on Gene and as always the nursing staff constantly check on him. Care is excellent! I interact with Jennifer Lee the Executive Director on a regular basis and I would say that Brightwater cannot hire a better Executive Director than Jennifer!!! If anyone is looking for a place for their love one, Brightwater is THE place.

Bright water is a amazing place to work I fell in love not only with bright water but my residents unfortunately working with employees that where very jealous on such a hard worker you where and where dedicated to your residence . I work very hard for bright water Gave them a 250 % of me it was like my Second home until I had seen one of the employees was breaking the rules me knowing that Jennifer lee wouldn’t tolerate that I had told employee he was wrong well in the process of training another employee that came on bored I thought is was not right with that me and the employee got into a verbal altercation that I was disrespected in so many ways and mind you I wasn’t supposed to be there the night when all this took place I was called in to cover on my Day off Jennifer lee called me into her office the next Day asking me what happened then placed me on Suspension after stating to me that her chef over Heard me saying the place was a dump I was in shock ! That these allegations where brought against me for theses where nothing but lies it was very hurtful for me I waited to be called if I was able to return to work not a phone call I called to be told unfortunately with the investigation we have to let u go which was heart breaking too me for everyone that worked at bright water even all residents knew what a hard dedicated worker I was even management knew how hard I worked mind you I started off as a server then went to receptionist/activity assistant then was promoted to a resident assistant so that tells you I worked hard and was dedicated to my residence I I treated all my residence they were my grandparents I miss them all dearly good thing I still have contact with there families ♥️ I built many relationships with not only my residents but there families which was amazing I still thank bright water for making that possible and for the great opportunity! And for all the experience that I gained . Unfortunately I wish Jennifer lee would of handle things differently and not by all hear say .

When you finally have to entrust your parent into the care of someone else then you want to feel and know that they are the right ones to be there when they pass on someday and will give them the proper care and kind attention. Jennifer Lee, as director of Brightwater of Highland, is a wonderful person and tremendous leader with her loving and caring demeanor and attitude which spreads to her staff. She and Elizabeth have been so amazing as well as all members of the staff! I have been so impressed where they continually go above and beyond the normal call of duty and have become loving friends to those who are in their care. They are so special and Im grateful for all they do and have done. I am so thankful we found them and cant express enough my gratitude for all they do!

Bright Water was the answer to helping our parents. They are 91 and 89, married 70 years. They wanted to be together and still have their independence and dignity. At their age, they still wanted to be involved in activities but were not able to complete all the tasks of owning their own home. At Bright Water they enjoy the independence of having their own apartment but their delicious meals are served in a beautiful dining room where they can follow the menu or choose from an a la carte menu. Both parents love the food. They are provided with laundry service and cleaning service. Their medication is carefully watched by the staff and given to them at the proper time periods. They are very happy with the activities especially the bingo, arts and crafts, scrabble, puzzles, and trips. They are quickly making friends. Also my Mom loves that there is a beauty parlor there, as well as exercise. We feel this is a blessing for families and would recommend this senior living to everyone.

My Mother is a resident and my father was up to the time he passed in February last year. The care they both received is excellent, fantastic nursing staff and excellent auxiliary personnel. My mother raves about the food and the activities. The staff always has a kind word when my family or I visit and the building is immaculately kept. It was an excellent decision for a difficult choice when my parents could no longer care for them selves on their own.

My inlaws have been here for about a month now and the care they are getting is top-notch!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My father in law is 94 and my mother in law is 80 years old, so they need quite a bit of assistance and they are getting it there. They both agree the food is really good, and they are from the South and she is a great cook and very picky about taste. The facility is always very clean. You will not have any regrets placing any of your dear family members in this assisted living.

My siblings and I moved our mother into Brightwater Senior Living of Highland last October 2015. Our mother was extremely reluctant to move into an assisted living facility. She wanted to live in her own home, however, that wasnt possible anymore after a fall and her doctor told us she should not live alone anymore. We anticipated we would have a very difficult time with our mother adjusting to these new living arrangements. We were completely surprised that it was just the opposite. She never asked once to go back home. She really enjoyed it from the beginning!. Brightwater is a beautiful, extremely well maintained community, and it is ran by the most caring, friendly and engaged staff I have ever seen. I live in Highland, so I could be there every day and got to know the entire staff and witnessed the loving relationships that the staff has with the residents. They truly care about their residents. Finding the right living arrangements for aging parents is a stressful task. We all worry and want to make sure our parents are being well taken care of in a loving environment. We worry that when we are not with our parents, are they being treated with dignity and respect. I can tell you at Brightwater there is no question. They are in a safe and secure community, well cared for, and the staff is engaged with the residents as if they were family. They have many activities within Brightwater that residents can take advantage of and are much encouraged to, a movie theater, a beautiful dining room with a baby grand piano, that my mother loved to play and outings to local stores and activities. If you are in need of a senior community for an aging parent, I encourage you to take a tour of Brightwater. You wont be disappointed!

In all honestly I dont think this company deserves any rating but you have to give a rating so I did. I had a grandparent staying there just recently and she wasnt treated like she shouldve been for an Assistant living place. Id like to know what Assistant living Company tells their residents that the caregivers arent required to help if the resident needs help or to just go to the bathroom in the bed and stay in bed ?. I helped take care of my Grandmother alongside my mom and older sister for two years so I know what caregivers have to do. Ive seen what they do when my other Grandparents were alive. If your not going to do your job right dont call yourself a caregiver because your not. Lazy, uncaring people arent caregivers.

My mother resided at Brightwater from the end of May-mid August, 2017. She had taken a fall which left her completely incapacitated. Previously she had lived alone, licensed to drive till 2020 and was very vibrant. My mother at almost 90, needed a lot of care.Reluctantly we admitted her to Brightwater and found very quickly that we made the right decision! From the housekeepers, caregivers, front desk ladies, activities coordinators, kitchen help, professional services and the administration...all were exceptional. The staff at Brightwater care about the residents and their environment. This is evident in the personal and professional care given to the residents. Specifically my mother was treated with respect and dignity that made me comfortable leaving her in their care.I visited daily for those two and a half months. There was minimal and basically unotable complaint. The facility was always clean. The food was good and the variety was restaurant quality. The activities offered was great! My mother being an introvert, did not avail herself these amenities...she was grateful that staff and residents continually invited her.My mother stayed in a studio apartment. The floor plan was spacious, with plenty of storage and closet space. The bathroom was large and accommodated easily her wheelchair/walker, with plenty of extra space to spare. As my mother convalesced, she eventually required less care. Her tier care level was easily adjusted and her payment was lowered. I attribute her recovery to the staff and positive environment of Brightwater. We now all reside together in one home. My mother will not be completely independent again, but due to the time well spent at Brightwater, her platinum years will be with her family at home. For those families that are not able to bring their loved one home. Rest assured, they will be well cared for at Brightwater. We are not a family that has disposable income. My father worked hard his whole life to leave my mom with funds after he was gone. Brighwater is worth every penny. I hope this kind of place is available to me...Im checking myself in and not waiting for my family to do it!I highly recommend Brightwater!

Brightwater is a facility that has a hidden agenda money. Jennifer Lee is the director they do not take care of there employees. Its a facility ran by all females who are unprofessional, an manipulative. Family members are not always treated with care but because of the facilities appearance it my seem that way. It has been witnessed that medical staff management, resident assistants neglect family member, even fail to report injuries to residents brought about by staff. Medical staff giving wrong medication and when brought to Jennifer lees attention she covers thes problems up through documentation so they wont be accountable. Because of mental physical condition of residents they are not always aware of these issues at hand. So when family members arrive they believe all is well with there loved one.
