Stopped attending this office as a patient sometime back, and since then I must say it’s been the best decision I have made. Attending my new dentist recently, made me realize I couldn’t of had made a better decision. This place is a fraud when it comes to treatment and insurance. I am so glad my new dentist was able to give me comfort, and assurance , when it comes to my dental treatment needs. This place will tell you that you always need some type of work, that you have some kind of hole in your tooth to get your $$. You’ll forever have a balance on 100% covered cleanings and won’t ever get clarity on why!!!!

After trying many practices, I have finally found my new dental home. Dr. Thakker took her time with me, thoroughly explained everything to me, and had an outstanding bedside manner. The office staff was friendly, competent, and went over the financial requirements and options in detail. I couldnt be happier.

My first experience was very good. I ended up having tooth extractions. Everyone at this office, beginning with the front desk, the office staff, the dentists assistant and the dentist were all informative, kind and professional. I was very impressed.

Have have been surprisingly amazed at the pain free experiences I have had there. I have enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and experience of my hygienist.

My dental assistant is very professional, she takes all the anxieties away. If I could have had someone like her when I was young, I probably wouldve come to the dentist more often and took better care of my teeth. she really is especial.

Had a great experience at this practice. Very professional and quick! My filing cracked and they were able to fix it while I was there for a cleaning. They fit me into their schedule and I really appreciate not having to schedule another appointment. Thank you so much!

I went here to get a cavity filled they ended up messing up my tooth making it longer then the others. I had constant bleeding for 2 weeks I highly recommend no one goes here they are unprofessional and all the staff are running around like chickens with their heads cut off

We recently switched to North Point Dental Associates. We were thoroughly impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the entire staff. The office was clean, sanitary, and inviting. We had more x-rays done than any other practice we’ve been to in the past. We highly recommend this practice.Six-month follow up: As in the past, North Point Dental Associates did not disappoint. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We did not have to wait long at all - right on time! Observation: We have insurance but I overheard an associate explain a dental plan/program to someone who doesn’t have insurance and it sounds like a great deal. The new patient scheduled an appointment, will sign up for the plan, and she left very happy. Another example of the great customer service at North Point Dental Associates.

I took my kids to the dentist today. I had made a mistake on my online form and the staff fixed it for me (even though I didnt have the best attitude). The ladies upfront, Ms. Stephanie and Dr. Ja were also very nice to my young son. I feel that my kids are safe and cared for here. They made their 1st experience very smooth!

Just visited this practice this week. Dr. Thakkar was awesome. Even the hygienist are excellent. Both my daughters and my wife had a very pleasant experience.this will be our choice for dental services from now on.

Gone majorly downhill since Dr. Oliver left. Been coming here for years and Ill be looking for a new dentist. 😒I need to add to this... one of the reasons for the low score was because when I had scheduled for my daughter to get cavities filled, they said they could do all 4 in one visit. I took her out of school and took off work and when we got there, I was told they were only going to fill 2. So, I had to take off of work again and pull her out of school again.When we came back, Dr. Jah came out and talked with me and apologized and was very caring. So, I scheduled an appointment for me to get a crown placed. The procedure went well, he was great! As I was getting into my car, one of the technicians followed me to my car and asked me why I left that bad review. That makes me wonder if I am the talk of the office? Disappointed me. I was planning to continue coming because Dr. Jah was great, but now I definitely will be looking for a new practice. ☹

Took my daughter in for an apt yesterday and I am just in disbelief to see how much turn over this place has had. The office was running super behind, and I was not the only family who couldn’t help but notice how disorganized the office was. My family and I will not be back after yesterday’s visit. My family has never in our years of patients, have ever had to wait so long for an apt. The dental nurse looked exhausted and overwhelmed. Not sure who is now operating this place, but it is obvious that it is not worth the try. It’s noticeable that it will be one of those assembly line dental places. No care or valued time for patients but $$$Moving to a new dentist for future apts !

Thankful for Dr. Oliver Dental Technicians for making my cosmetic work convenient and easy. Started my treatment in June 2019 and was finished by early 2021. Dr. Oliver cares for his patients and their treatment, by ensuring they walk out with the best smile. Best dentist in the Piedmont Triad!

Update:The doctor called me the following morning to “check up” on me. She gave me my at home care instructions over the phone (but I had already googled them because of the mess up) Then she asked me about my paid and then tried to prescribe me medicine over the phone, which I thought was funny because she didn’t do it when I was sitting in the dental chair. She proceeded to ask me about concerns of my review to which she tried to correct what I was saying, like I wasn’t the patient lying on the table. She proceeded to say she kept asking if I was okay, which she never did, not once. And kept trying to convince me over the phone that none of what I said in my review happened. Flash forward to where I blatantly told her I felt uncomfortable the entire time, I even went to another doctor the following morning to have them double check her work. It’s already infected (she didn’t even prescribe me an antibiotic after the extraction to prevent infection) and leading into dry socket. Before you say “bet you didn’t follow instructions) they also gave me unsterile gauze to use at home, so I doubt any of the other equipment was sanitized properly, and I didn’t eat the rest of the day due to pain. I’ve been going here since I was a teen, but after my recent visits here with these doctors I will not ever be going here again nor recommend anyone to come here.Original:So I’ve been going here since I was a teen. No problems until this last visit with a new doctor. First off the nurse didn’t bother to read my chart to see I was 23 weeks pregnant, so she didn’t know to alter some care treatment. I also put it in my chat at check in that I was pregnant and I was there 3 months prior when I was 8 weeks pregnant, so all of the info was there. The doctor was shaking the entire time she did the procedure, I legit almost asked her of she was as okay or needed to stop but it’s hard to do with a needle and mirror in your mouth. They gave me my after care instructions in Spanish and they also gave me unsterile gauze to put in my open mouth wound. I will never ever ever again go to this location for any future procedures.

Recently visited Dr Thakkar for a tooth extraction. It was a painless experience thanks to a great staff, an excellent hygienist and an awesome Doctor.

I HATE the dentist. The long waits, cold rooms, and feeling abandoned from one room to the next. At NPDA, i barely sat down before I was called to the back. Everyone looked to be following Covid protocol. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and friendly. My husband has gone a couple ties and despite not being a dentist person, he has been vert comfortable with them.

I was charged for a filling that was never performed. Then she (Dr. Thakkar) did a root canal that the endontist confirmed was not done right. She put me in so much pain. I missed nearly a month and a half of work and she had a callous nasty attitude about it. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The fake pleasantry only masks a heinous monster.Dr. Oliver was great but he is no longer at the practice.

Dental Assistant Stephanie did a great job cleaning my teeth. I had some discomfort prior to visiting. Now no discomfort and my teeth are clean.

Called to schedule an appointment as a new patient and by far this was the easiest phone call with a dentist office. Trying to get into a new dentist seemed to be impossible but North Point did great !

I absolutely LOVE this place! The early appointments go well with my work schedule and they always fast and efficient. I love the way they break down your bill for you so that you know what to expect each time. They are very caring about your comfort and they do great work. I wish I could give them higher than 5 starts.

I needed some fillings and I told them I was moving out of state in a week and they filled them the same day! Very nice staff and I hope I can find people as kind when I move.

I just want to say that I was highly impressed with my daughters recent visit!! My family and I recently relocated dental offices and I was just so pleased with her dental hygienist Vicky!! She was so informative that I just had to ask if the rest of my family could see her! Also thank you to the Hispanic check in lady who was just so patient with me when scheduling a family of 6, and yet greeted me so kindly when arriving and remembered who I was. Well deserved 5!!

Im a grandmother that is a patient of Dr Oliver in which i had my granddaughter visiting with an extremely bad toothache, i called and was given an early morning appointment for next day and on our appointment we found out my granddaughter needed a root canal and they were able to do same day,after two ER visits and a crying granddaughter im forever greatful for North Point Dental.

I recently had a crown done by Dr. Oliver. After it was done, I feel my bite is not right and food gets stuck in between the teeth when it didnt before. I talked to Dr. Oliver several times and he said it is fine and he doesnt see anything wrong and if I am having paid I need a root canal. But he really messed up the crown and doesnt want to admit it. My teeth were better before I started going to this practice. I am taking my family to a different dentist.

I recently switched my family from another dental practice, and was referred by a family friend to this practice. I was just so pleased with the customer service I received over the phone! The lady who answered was not only quick, but she was so informative. She was quick and efficient! She not only gave me the first available, but also explained how to fill out the forms online to make my visit quicker! I was skeptical at first about switching, but so far great! She even asked before hanging up if I had any questions regarding my upcoming appt. I would have never been asked that before at my old dentist office!!!Thank you Claudia! I recently had my braces removed and my front 4 teeth were smaller than all my other teeth and I had to have crowns. Best decision I have ever made like ever💛💛💛💛. I have been a patient of Dr. Oliver for nearly 10 years. He and his staff are always so friendly and courteous. I never have to wait long to be called back at appointments. Dr. Oliver goes the extra mile when it comes to fixing any problems you may have with your teeth. He offers the most affordable solutions. He is a true humanitarian! I highly recommend him. I went to get a crown. .worst mistake ..the hygienist put the temp on, perfect. ..went back for crown..when Dr.Khan ask me before she cement it how I like it ? Told her I didnt because of the way it didnt fit..shorter and didnt fit with my other teeth.we went back and forth for 20 minutes. .about how it the angle that make it look like that..Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles can see she make a serious mistake. ..she cemented it in..went back and she tell me she cant fix it cause nothing is wrong. ...but they expect me to pay my balance. ..not happening. ..what happen to to giving patients what they ask for and paying for...not what they want you to have and she didnt even ask me what material did I want my crown made with...very disappointed in this Practice. ..well Dr. Khan gives the office a bad taste in my mouth..

I have nothing but good things to say about the dentists and hygienist. Overall the office is nice I’ve never had any problems my only problem and reason why I will not schedule back is because every time I call I speak to someone new or walk in to new personnel like assistants and front desk people!! Patients like consistency and although it is not important to many it is to me I don’t like explaining my history to one person and then again to someone else.... this is not reliable!! If this could be fixed i would consider returning but i feel with so many new changes in personnel says a lot about this office! Not good !

I recently moved to the area and called to schedule an appointment as I was recommended by a family friend. I called to schedule an appointment and spoke to someone by the name of “Angie” I was told there were no available appointments until April. My husband called earlier last week and was told our insurance was accepted, AND there were appointments available as soon as next week which would now be this week. She was so unprofessional and it almost sounded like she had no clue what she was doing! She consistently kept stuttering and kept placing me on hold! I now have an appointment with my family tomorrow at another practice in the High Point area. Terrible customer service!!!!

Dr Oliver is nice and seems to be a good dentist but you are only as good as your staff. My kids and I don’t like the hygienists. Typically no one likes going to the dentist but these ladies treatments and practices are rough and painful just for routine cleanings and procedures. I haven’t experienced issues with back office staff/billing like some other reviewers but I wouldn’t say the sign in person (when you first arrive) is overly friendly by any means.We’ve made a family decision to change practices.

Horrible service. Would not even file a chipped tooth without an X-ray (I can already see the problem) what do I need an X-ray for? More radiation for my brain maybe. Would not recommend to anybody I love and especially not any people of color.

I called last week to request office information in regards to becoming a new patient with my family of 4 and was told my dental insurance was accepted and would have available appointments for this week.. Then I have my wife call to schedule and was told there were no appointments available for this week, but until April! Thankfully we were able to get an appointment else where!! I am in complete disbelief to know she received such poor customer service and was still placed on hold several times just to schedule a new patient appointment! It’s dental practices like these you must stay away from!! Can’t be on hold for 15 minutes when you have a dental emergency!!!

The staff in this office is amazing. I have been going to this practice for almost 10 years and from day one I have felt like family. It is very refreshing to find an office where you feel so welcome and comfortable.

I have been an existing customer at North Point Dental and I am highly disappointed with the customer service that I just received. I was only calling to schedule a dental cleaning appointment. The lady who answered the phone said that her name was Claudia. She was not listening and had an attitude which was displayed through her tone. I had to ask her if she was new? The previous ladies were so professional and nice! I am looking for a new dentist.

This was my first time having a wonderful experience at the dentist. The staff is amazing! From Dr. Khan, to Wendy, to Jameice. If you havent been , this is the place to go!

Recently moved to this area and I have been a client of this office for a few months. My treatment plan has endured more hoops and hurdles at this location versus any other dentist I have frequented. I find it absolutely charming that I am charged a fee for being 5 minutes late for an appointment yet they can seat me for up to an hour before calling me back. Its very discouraging once you get into a chair and are met with unfriendly staff and what feels like Michael J Fox operating on your mouth. I will never return to this location and urge all seeking a dentist to please look elsewhere.

Had a lot of dental work done at several different dentists in the past. Never imagined there’d be a reason to pull a person’s mouth open so wide, that it felt as if the skin might rip. Assistant was rough as well. I have several sores in my mouth from the experience. Not pleasant, and it was only for two cavities. I can’t bear to imagine if it were a root canal. Thankfully they don’t perform endo here. Research another dentist if you can. Never reviewed a dentist before but I honestly wish I’d have seen a warning like this beforehand. Hopefully it’ll help another. Dr. Khan was the performing doc (for info purposes only). On a lighter note, everyone here are very nice and other than the roughness during the procedure, it was a pleasant visit.

I took my two-year-old daughter here for her first-ever dental appointment. As to be expected, I was a nervous wreck, but my nerves were calmed by the incredible staff and overall experience.The kids examination room is sooo cool! My daughter loved the underwater artwork on the walls and felt at-ease when she saw the big-screen TVs playing her favorite cartoons.The staff members were patient with her as she screamed and wiggled away from them, and reassuring to me that she was exhibiting typical behavior of a patient her age and that I did not need to apologize for her behavior. They showed her each tool that they were going to use for her cleaning before using it, explained what it did, and allowed her the opportunity to touch it and see it work.Dr. Tucker was very friendly and professional, and was also very patient with my daughter. She allowed me to keep my daughter reclined in my lap throughout the examination in order to make her more comfortable.At the end of the appointment, my daughter was excited to get a sticker and a gold coin that is redeemable at a toy dispensing machine that allowed her to choose her prize.Overall, the staff and environment at this dental office put this momma at ease about my childs dental care, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist in the area!

These people are uncaring. They were so rough and when I expressed my pain I received no sympathy. I arrived to my appointment on time but had to wait 30-40 minutes to be seen. If I am 10 minutes late I get charged $25 and they will cancel my appointment but apparently it is ok to have me to wait for them when they are running behind. Due to the like of time I was not able to receive anesthetics so I had to grin and bear the pain. I asked her to stop and I will return when you have enough time to numb up my mouth. In the result of all of this I was asked not to return to the dental office due to incorporation. hmmmm ok cancel my 6 children follow up appointments as well. oh no they are free to come Ha...thats funny. I will be report you them to the ADA. Hope they get shut down!!!!PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE PAIN AND SUFFERING YOU WILL EXPERIENCE HERE!!!!!

Horrible customer service. The women at the front desk are rude. Also I made two appointments there in the past and they had written my time down wrong for both. I asked for a appointment at 420 which is what we agreed on and I walked in, after taking pto for work and they advised me that my appointment was at 1240. I wouldnt have agreed to this time considering I have a 9-5 job why would I have a appointment in the middle of the day? I got a letter in the mail saying they will not be able to provide their services due to missing appointments. When in reality they had me down with different times we agreed upon.

I enjoyed the professionalism and attention to detail at North Point. Glad I was able to find a friendly and experienced dental office.

I will not take a dead dog to this establishment!!!! 10 minutes before I pick my kids up from school for our dental appointment, I receive a phone call from the High Point office telling me that all of a sudden they dont participate in my dental insurance network. Are you freaking kidding me? THEY tell me one quote over the phone but when we arrive they want to charge me $180.00 each for both my kids and myself. Really? Staff, rude and sooooo unprofessional! You really dont deserve that 1 star!

If you are visiting first time ... be careful.. they charge you unnecessarily for tooth brush and paste without telling and we think its complimentary...money minded people..they charges for things which they dint do also ...

They are not nice some of them are very nasty especially the front desk people.
