Camila is one knowledgeable person that has replaced many otherspecialists on my pregnancy and postpartum path (a counselor, adietician, lactation consultant, physical therapist and so forth). Herknowledge and experience are incredible. She worked with babies, kids,moms and families for many years, in many cultural settings, in homesand hospitals. Thus she gained vast, evidence-based knowledge whichshe generously shares with all her clients.She helped me to find a new friendly doctor who accepted my plan ofnatural birth. She prepared me to natural hospital birth of mychild, was present at the hospital for many hours and prepared ourwhole family to welcoming a new member (thanks for all resources onnavigating siblings dynamics!). She recognized and diagnosed manyproblems appearing on the way even before I named them. She helped meto overcome or just accept reality. Camila is a very charming, verykind and empathetic person, with exceptional bedside manners. She is amom herself and the friendship and companionship she offered(sometimes going an extra mile or doing an extra visit) was the mostimportant thing for me in very hard timeof COVID-19 pandemics. I am very grateful that we have met !

Camila worked with our family as a Newborn Care Specialist for the first few months of our twin boys’ lives—and how truly fortunate we were to have her!! Camila is a delightful person who is both keenly professional and wholly dedicated to her craft.As a first time mother, I now cannot imagine going through the process of bringing home and caring for twins without her assistance. While the first few days and weeks are certainly a special and memorable time in the lives of new parents (first time or otherwise), it can be a stressful and exhausting experience as well. Camila was both extraordinary and indispensable to us in that regard—she taught us so much about how to care for our boys (and ourselves!) and did it all with kindness, patience and aplomb.Camila is extremely knowledgeable about the many aspects of child (and new mother!) care. Case in point: I had no idea what I was doing as far as breastfeeding was concerned and she coached me along the entire way—and when, as I sat down to a three a.m. feeding and broke down crying for no apparent reason (or perhaps totally expected?? Ha!), she took me in hand, gave me a hug, and assured me I was doing the best I could and everything was and would continue to be just fine. What a trooper! Needless to say, we would breathe a sigh of relief each night when she arrived and eagerly look forward to her return as she cheerily waved goodbye in the morning!As our children grew, Camila was integral to helping us configure and maintain a feeding/activity/sleeping regimen. Moreover, as with many parents, we looked forward to the day when our children would blissfully sleep through the night and with Camila’s hard work and dedication, they soon were! When the boys seemed to be suffering from reflux, she shared valuable tips and kindly offered recommendations as to how we might make them happier, more comfortable little boys. And they are! Additionally, upon Camila’s completion of her night nurse services with our family, she generously presented us with a comprehensive continuation plan for their future goals/success. Since then, we have engaged Camila’s services from time to time as special needs arise and will gladly continue to do so.Above all, Camila is a warm, gracious and gentle person who so obviously loves children. We hired Camila as our birth doula after being encouraged by a friend who has experienced two natural hospital births. After a lot of research on childbirth, I found Well Rounded Momma and began interviewing doulas. We felt very comfortable and compatible with Camila from the start and were so fortunate that she could take us on as clients the month our son was due.Over the course of my pregnancy, we communicated primarily through email and text messages whenever I had a question, concern, or update. That worked very well for me and was reassuring to a first-time mom to have access to her knowledge and expertise. The two prenatal meetings were very helpful - the first to get to know one another and establish a plan for what we wanted from our birth experience and the second focused primarily on how I was doing and demonstrating different comfort measures we could use during labor.On the day of our sons birth, I had to undergo an induction due to high blood pressure. Despite being well progressed, I was not going into natural labor. We headed straight to the hospital and started a pitocin drip shorty after Camila arrived. She was absolutely wonderful and helped us navigate the difficulties of paperwork, procedure, and other hospital policies. I felt completely supported in my decision to accept an epidural and she rolled with every change in the birth plan that we faced. A fantastic coach, working in tandem with my husband during the worst of my labor, Camila was on her feet and physically involved while I pushed for hours. Along with my husband and Camilas encouragement, I finally delivered our son; he weighed over 8 pounds and was occiput posterior.During our postpartum visit, Camila recounted my labor and delivery to me, answering questions and providing valuable information about what transpired while I was in labor land. I know most people would probably not want to relive their labor, but I did and Im so thankful for all the clarifying questions she asked the doctor and nurses. I now have a very clear picture of my labor and delivery which helps me to process the experience.We would recommend Camilas services to anyone expecting a child and truly believe that she directly contributed to my not having had a c-section. Her calm, warm, reassuring presence in the delivery room meant a great deal to us and we are thankful she was with us on this wonderful journey.

Camila is one of the BEST Midwives we could’ve had. When we were searching for a midwife, the first and ONLY midwife we interviewed for being our midwife was Camila. That’s how AMAZING she is!! My husband and I both said to ourselves after meeting Camila is that, “ She’s the one, she’s Perfect”, and we didn’t even leave the parking lot to decide that lol During my pregnancy, Camila was just a call or text away and boy did I have so many questions since it was my first birth ever and she’s always responded in a timely matter. She is so Knowledgeable about Natural Home births and recommended classes like hypnobirthing, an amazing chiropractor that specializes in pregnant women who I seen every week because Camila highly recommended chiropractic. I believe doing all those classes and going to a chiropractor played a huge role in my amazing FIRST natural home water birth. During labor, Camila was so patient and kept me calm, she would tell me to breathe through my contractions and don’t fight them just let them happen. I started to get tired because I was having contractions for so long, Camila knew exactly what was stalling my labor and brought over this peanut ball that made me open my legs while I was as laying down so that I can let my contractions come and go and in no time I went from 6 cm to fully dialated in the blink of an eye lol She was there for me from 3am to 2 am the next day when I had my son. He is so healthy and happy and I HIGHLY recommend Camila if your looking for an amazing midwife. She will be my midwife for ALL my births

Camila is absolutely incredible! She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional, considerate, passionate, and effective. She made my experience as a first time mother a beautiful one. I truly felt equipped, prepared, supported and educated for our Baby girl’s home birth. Her presence during something that felt impossible, made all the difference. Oh! And I was so very pleased with my placenta capsules! I will most certainly be back when it’s time for more babies. It was a huge blessing to have Camila as our midwife. There are not enough great things to say about Camila! I interviewed 4 midwifes in total when deciding who I would move forward with and Camila surpassed all of them! Just had my baby girl 2 weeks ago and Camila has been so understanding, patient, loving & so so informative over every little thing my husband and I have been worried about of our new little girl. I call her anytime and she always responds any time even early hours of the morning. Camila is definitely someone I would recommend any momma to. Nothing like having a midwife who truly cares about you!

I dont know where to begin. I met Camilla looking for a Spanish speaking doula for my first birth. From there it was nothing short of amazing personalized relationship. She has been there for all of my birthday except my last unfortunately we had babies at the same time and she was unable to attend. This review is LONG OVERDUE !!!! My 1st baby turns 3 in just one week from today. Ive turned to Camila for so many things. She so much more then a doula or midwife. Or even a placenta encapsulator. From pregnancy problems to breastfeeding problems from postpartum problems Camilla has NEVER turned her back on me. Truly from the bottom of my heart we thank you so much Camilla. Camila was a referral from a friend and Im super glad i hired her. Me being a first time mom everything was new and daunting. I had all kinds of questions and fears.Camila was super patient, compassionate and supportive with me. Love her honesty and caring sensitivity all at the same time.She made my 9 months more special and not scary as a first time mom would feel. We had the pleasure of having hired Camila for our water home birth. It was the most unforgettable experience weve ever encountered. She made sure we felt heard and connected with that very special moment. I was always very skeptical of homebirth, and wanted my kid to be born in a hospital where its safer or so I thought. From the moment Camila and I spoke on the phone I knew I wanted her as my midwife I was already convinced before meeting in person. She’s the sweetest!! Where do I even begin? I am so thankful to have worked with Camila for the north of both babies. Camila encapsulated my placenta after the birth of my first baby and I learned soooo much. Camila even took time to send me pictures and explain each part of my placenta when she delivered my capsules.3 years later, I had the pleasure of working with Camila once again, but this time as my midwife. She was incredibly patient, kind and honest. Camila is so knowledgeable and truly takes the time to educate you at every step of the way. We loved that she included our older child in our appointments by letting him help find the baby’s heartbeat and even took the time to answer his questions or explain something in child friendly terms.Seriously, I don’t have enough words to thank her for everything she has done for us.
