When I met Allyson I felt like I had known her forever. I was pregnant with my first child and I wanted a doula, I hired Ally via the internet. When I got to Las Vegas and met her face to face I felt like I had known her my entire life. She is AMAZING. My situation with her was a bit different as she was my doula and not a midwife at that point. I think that her years as a doula only helped to prep her for midwifery. She was everything a woman could want during delivery. From rubbing my back, to giving suggestions for labor positions, to holding my hair when I vomited to bringing me chocolate cake, champagne, and food post delivery, Ally was there every step of the way. My second child was born in Alaska, as hard as we tried, we couldnt make it work for Allyson to be there. If there is a third child in my future, I will be flying her to Florida to be my midwife. Shes on of the best, hands down.
