If you want a gym just to work out, this is for you. No pool, no showers, no sauna, but there is a place for child care. Ive never had problems finding equipment to use. My biggest complaint, enough to drop a star, is that the music is TOO LOUD. Many people use ear buds, including me, and too many times Ive have trouble hearing the music in my earbuds over the speakers. Background music is fine, just make it background. There are people of all ages here, it is a nice neighborhood gym.

I’d recommend this gym to anyone looking for value. Place has weights and goes for about 10 a month. Management is awful to staff and this leads many of them to complain. Also a/c is probably working at 20% capacity.

I received today an unsolicited request to leave a review. OK - happy to. The club is great unless you NO LONGER WISH TO BE A MEMBER. They become horrible. You cannot easily find them. There is no way to email them through the corporate website. They tell you to call the club but the club is closed. Cancelling is as painful as having teeth pulled. It shouldnt be this difficult. When you treat people poorly and then ask them for a review - you get what you deserve - 1 star. Have you refunded my and my wifes money yet?

I am happy with this gym. I love training with Pat he has helped me tremendously with all of my injuries and health issues. Super happy we now have a private room to do treatments in!! Been asking for that for awhile. Nice to know you hear us and listen!I am SO very happy to.see Anthony back! Dont get me wrong Carlos was great too. But Anthony just has such a vibrant demeanor its a joy to see him againAll in all i am happy with everything. Just wish you would take over the space next door and offer classes at this location.

The gym has everything someone could possibly need to work out. This location doesnt offer classes but theres another location not far that does have classes & you can attend both facilities.

Poor management probably the worst in Fitness 19 gym chain. The little lady who works at night didn’t even pay proper attention when I complained about an equipment that needs to be fixed . It can be dangerous to others working out! Also, Anthony makes for an awful gym manager. He needs to be replaced.

Moved to Henderson during the shutdown and was looking for a gym to join after things opened from COVID. Ive been going 5 days a week for about a month now. For the price, and convenience to my home, I am very happy with this gym. Not the biggest and fanciest, but has what I need. I go early in the mornings and typically have no issues getting the weights and cardio machines I use. Only thing is it seems the AC is usually not working, so it gets warm, and a few of the wall fans in the cardio area dont work...so it would be nice if those were fixed or replaced.

I left 24 Hour Fitness when they failed to open after the COVID closures. I had friends who had joined Fitness 19 and recommended it to me so I decided to join. The staff is great and personal, and has answered all of my questions.I am the type of person who wants to get in, get my workout done and leave. Fitness 19 allows me to do that and has plenty of equipment available for their patrons. I don’t have to worry about people socializing on the machines for long periods of time (LVAC) or the gym smelling dirty (EOS). And, you can’t beat the price!

Staff are great. Place is clean. equipment is excellent. I recommend for any person experienced or starting out in the fitness journey.

I have been working out here for the last several months. Its been a really good experience. I usually go in the mornings so I am not fighting for equipment but even on the weekends when it is busier I have not had any issues. I personally enjoy the freestanding rig and bumper plates so I can do more CrossFit type workouts but they have all the machines and free weights needed to get a good workout as well.

Not crowded in early mornings or late night, I like how they have the major sports on games to watch while working out, very clean along with helpful staff. Great selection of equipment. Plus great prices. One down fall ( they need more locations )

Fitness 19 is a good neighborhood gym. It has all of the basics nothing more. They do have a days care for kids. The price is great for what you get. There is TRX for people who like the cross fit type workout. If you dont need towel service, sauna, pool and the extras I would recommend it.

I like this gym a lot. Plenty of parking, people mind their own business. My fiance says its a little small and there is some equipment he wishes they had so maybe a walk through before commitment of a membership is best. Its clean and friendly for all ages.

Poor customer service and thats really the only thing this gym could have working for them. I loved coming when Eric and Anthony worked there...always so friendly. Without the amenities (showers, swimming, basketball, etc.), they dont have much to offer. Any type of greeting would go a long way. The petite, brunette is very unwelcoming. Anyway, my husband I will cancel at the start of the new year. Plenty of other gyms around.

This place used to be great. I have noticed that the place is not as clean as it used to be and staff are less attentive. Now days instead of making sure the place is clean or that the sun screens are down in the evening, the staff are either chatting with friends or each other or on their phones. Maybe it is time to take my family some where else.

They get you to sign up at a special rate and then blast you with hidden fees and when you go to cancel they tell you I’m sorry the manager is not in after five visits I am fed up

Small gym, but has literally anything you need. Its always clean too which is nice. I only wish they were a 24-hour gym, but this is fine.

READ the contract before you sign electronically so Annual Fees dont come as a surprise charge.

This gym is boring. However, the staff are nice.

Great gym, never overly crowded, great staff, fantastic prices. (And I love that I can bring my kids into the daycare while Im working out for no additional cost!)

Really really hot in there

Normally I would have a lot of good things actually say about this gym, but some things just arent forgivable. I was at the gym last week and one of the machines cut me so I went to the front to ask for a Band-Aid to which the employee told me they had none and pestered me about getting a full membership with the gym. I said I wasnt sure still because Im going when my friend goes and Im using her friend pass and she said that if I could sign up today she could try and look for a Band-Aid for me. So I walked away and went to try and do squats. Waited for her to leave and the other person to come up so I talked to that person and said Ive been bleeding for a while and asked if he could find a Band-Aid because I dont want to get blood all over the equipment. He asked me why it took so long for me to ask and I told him the situation. Less than a minute later he came from the back with two Band-Aids for me. So normally I would give this place a four or five, but because of that absolutely shity worker Im giving it a 2.

Ive been coming here pretty much 5 days a week for close to 2 years now since moving to the area. From Chicago River North a year before that. That being said, I love this little gym. Been a member of Xsport, Ballys, LA fitness, etc. They dont have classes here but they have everything you need to get the job done. Super inexpensive, ample weights, its clean, they keep the machines functioning and the staff is nice. Im down 30 lbs since coming here. My ONLY complaint is one of the staffers here puts Fox news on most of the TVs. Lets keep the news sites to ONE TV for each news outlet please. I dont get too political and neither should my gym. Im sure everyone from the left to the right likes to workout.

I cancelled my membership and have not been to a fitness 19 since may 2017 because Ive been deployed overseas. It is now August 2018 and still overseas, and im still being charged membership fees. After several attempts to call them from what limited internet i have here they told me they would correct it. Apparently they have still been collecting fees from me as if im still there going to the gym. Wow.

Clean it up a bit..but for 10.00 a month? Still should be clean

This is the worst gym I have ever dealt with. Carlos is rude and unhelpful. Their cancellation policy is sketchy to say the least and they have no respect for their customers. Find a better gym.

Barebones gym, but thats exactly what I need. Just some treadmills, ellipticals/stair steppers, some weight machines and some free weights. There is childcare included, but its just a room with a tv and some toys. Bring your own waterbottle since the water fountains water pressure is terrible. All of the gym-goers are very friendly and comfortable to be around. Its an okay gym.

Cheap rate and they have free childcare. It is a small gym so try and avoid busy times or you will wait for equipment.

It has decent equipment but its way to crowded at normal times.

The sales manager Anthony (Tony) is rude. Small gym. Some machines are old and havent been greased. No, I dont want to join a gym that lacks good airflow and looks like a nesting place for degenerates.
