Dr. Kathleen Paz Uy and Anna the Dental Hygienist from Smile Horizons Dentristy are the best!I live all the way up the top of Northwest Las Vegas, and I gladly drive all the way to super far Henderson to get top-notch service and dental assistance from their lovely team.The facility is sanitized, clean, modern and spiffy. I looked, compared and researched the endless dental offices and clinics around town, and I am so glad I took the time to do so, or else I wouldnt have found Smile Horizons Dentistry!Their scheduling is so easy, and they are active on their social media platforms, which says a lot about their company. Not only that, but it is just a pleasant environment to be in - especially for someone who gets anxious at medical appointments (me specifically with dentists).I guess I should talk about the actual dentist part, lol. Routine cleanings exceed any and all expectations. You are asked to sanitize your mouth first using their highly concentrated stuff and nice wash stations - obviously. Imaging of your teeth are taken in-office, but they diffuse any fear by their bubbly demeanor and personalities. Then, you are taken into your personal area with state-of-the-art everything.They put Vaseline on your lips to prevent any irritation (not required but a nice cherry on the top) and proceed with the dental treatments. As others have mentioned, their aromatherapy lavender-infused warm towels are cute to end the appointment with. When it comes to future treatments and financing, they will never pressure you to undergo frivolous treatments - which is sadly a rare thing when it comes to healthcare providers in Las Vegas.I trust Dr. Uy and Anna with any and all dental procedures, and I think you should too! I had my first visit at Smile Horizons Dentistry this week. I appreciate the ease of scheduling my appointment online. The front desk staff were very efficient and excellent with communicating with me to get information they needed, prior to my visit. I arrived at Smile Horizon s to have a broken tooth pulled. Upon entering the door to the receptionist desk feeling nervous for putting this procedure off for years! My anxiety was immediately put to rest as the staff made me feel comfortable and went above the reviews I had read on yelp! I was able to have the tooth pulled and a bone graft added to jaw for a future implant. Once the procedure was finished they went over the after surgery instructions. I was given a folder which contained a card thanking me for my visit hand written by everyone who worked with me that visit. As someone who deals w the public and in customer service. It meant a great deal to me they were concerned for me and my well being. The atmosphere in that building is one of peace and tranquility. I am excited to work with the staff to have my smile return to new heights!

Smile horizons have the most amazing staff. I was so confused on were an orthodontics can take my insurance because some say they take your insurance online, but they dont. I was so relief when they assist me on finding a orthodontics that took my insurance. I will highly recommend smile horizons to consultant to. Very professional staff.

Let me start by saying I hate going to the dentist but Dr. Kathleen Uy and the rest of the staff took their time (no rushing) till I felt confident enough to go through the procedure. They care about quality and comfort.I’m a dentist myself but drove four hours to this office to get a crown after another dentist colleague botched my tooth. This is the dental office where OTHER dentists go to get their own dental work.The team is ethical, competent, modern and up to date on the best materials and techniques.Dr. Uy and dr. Nou are gentle and have great dental skills. They care about the quality of their work and use good dental materials for fillings and crowns. More importantly, they diagnose accurately and ethically.For your comfort, they have warm lavender scented towels, televisions in each room and a massage chair. Office is also clean and modern.Out of all of my dental colleagues, I absolutely recommend this office for dental treatment.

It was remarkably easy to schedule an appointment close to home. It was extremely convenient to complete my New Patient Paperwork online. The day of my visit, I entered a clean, well-organized office and was greeted by pleasant, competent staff. I felt very safe being there! I received high-tech xrays and a very thorough exam. I was shown actual pictures of my teeth while Dr. Nou explained how to fix the existing problems. A treatment plan was developed. I was given a printout of priorities and their proposed costs. I received an excellent cleaning while watching a program of my choosing, which I found to be relaxing. I will absolutely return to Smile Horizons for my dental care and I highly recommend them to everyone!!

I dont have enough good things to say about this office! The last office I went to rushed through my appointment and made it seem like they only cared about my money. But at Smile Horizons they made me feel welcome, and explained everything I needed to get done in a way that made sense. The office is clean and COVID safe. They have TVs mounted on the ceilings so you can watch something while getting your work done. After my cleaning they even brought me a scented warm towel to clean up with. If you need a kind and gentle dentist, this is the right place!!

Tiffany and Doctor Uy are friendly, professional, and focused on patient care from start to finish. Gentle yet thorough, I was xrayed, examined, had 3 cavities fixed, cleaning, and mouth guard mold all within 2 hours. I was also informed of better wellness tools and practices which was helpful. Refreshingly, and uncharacteristically, a business that personifies a great ethic, cleanliness, style, and demonstrative of commitment to superb patient care. My dentist, Dr. Uy, proved over my many visits, a skill, knowledge, and patience never experienced in 55 years and many dentists. My friend equally swears that her dentist there is God-sent. We both had major work done amazingly void of pain and with fast healing; but a business is only as good as it’s frontline staff! Dental Assistant Jenny, officer manager Cathy, and other staff are consummate professionals. They exude a genuine interest, care, respect, and a friendliness, that together ameliorate anxiety that is emblematic of dentist visits. I only hope, as the public discovers this gem of a dental practice and the office grows, perhaps into multiple offices and more dentists, the current social environment and level of treatment dont dissipate; But now, I have absolutely no reservation in recommending Smile Horizons’ professional services.

I had a broken back molar and was referred here by another dentists office as I have a lot of sensitivities/reactions to various chemicals, materials, fragrances, etc., and it was in my best interest to have a same day crown to limit my exposures. To my delight, this office did not use any fragranced plug ins, mists, oil sticks, etc in their main areas or patient areas! (They did use fragranced items in the bathroom but accommodated my request to remove it) And they have fragrance free hand soap available, yay!Thank you to everyone at Smile Horizons Dentistry for making my visit a much more bearable experience!The entire staff is very caring, and were so nice and helpful throughout my entire visit! Dr Nou and assistant, Tiffany, use all the latest dental digital technologies which made the experience much more bearable for me, and were gentle and accommodating! No need to have a mouth full of goop for impressions, or bulky xray cards. Also for same day crowns theres no need to have a temporary crown! (which Ive always found to be bulky and uncomfortable, and I usually react to the material) The entire appt process took about 4 1/2 hrs and I left with a beautiful permanent porcelain crown. I highly recommend seeing them for your next dental needs!!

This dental office is definitely the best in town! The staff is always very friendly and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Uy is amazing at her work and gives honest recommendations. I needed a couple fillings and the procedure was quick and painless.I was a bit hesitant to book an appointment during the pandemic, but the office had various safety measures in place including temperature checks, social distancing, air filters in the room and an antiviral rinse before treatment. Bonus points for the TVs hanging from the ceilings to keep you occupied. Ill definitely be recommending this office to my family and friends for all their dental needs.

Honestly the best experience at a dentist ive ever had. Everyone was super friendly and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Three different people offered me bottled water throughout the visit. They made sure I knew what was coming at any given point. There was a TV on the ceiling above the dental chair?? Definitly my new regular dentist.

It’s always a pleasure at Horizons Dentistry. Dr. Nou, Jenny, and Sarah always made me feel comfortable in the chair and did a beautiful job getting my teeth fixed up. I was a little embarrassed at my first appointment because I haven’t had dental work done in a while. Needless to say, there was not an ounce of judgment from any of the staff. They try to make you as comfortable as possible, asking if I needed things (of which I havent been offered at other places). Cleanliness and safety seems prioritized. Had my tooth filled in the other day.On the facilities:They have a very comfortable waiting area, with a tv that you can watch shows so your waiting time doesnt seem so long. While there, you can help yourself with free coffee and water. The clinic has multiple rooms where they can work on their patients. They even have an in house laboratory. The toilets are extremely clean and its very well designed that it seems like youre using the toilet at your own home- its that comfortable. Lol.On their equipment:There are many things i was super impressed with. Here are two: 1. They have this machine that makes your crown on the spot. You can actually see it being made. 2. In the rooms where you get checked, they have tvs on the ceiling to entertain you while your teeth are being worked on. It made my procedure time seem so short. Not once did i complain in my head if the procedure could take any more longer.On Dr. Uy and the staff:The staff were really friendly and courteous. I had a conversation with their assistant, while i was waiting for my name to get called. The doctors dental assistant was also very nice and soft spoken. If getting a dental check is one of the things you fear, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff can really help make you less anxious.Dr. Uy is one of the best doctors ive encountered. From start to finish, i really didnt feel any pain or discomfort. She has light hands and she always asked if i was okay during my entire procedure. That really beats any doctor who will just keep working on you, without asking if your jaws hurting from opening your mouth for too long! Lol.

Ive never been a fan of going to the Dentist, because I had a bad experience as a child. But, I found Smile Horizons, and Dr. Cindy Nou, and Im not as anxious as I was. Both Dr. Nou and Dr. Uy would make anyone afraid of going to the dentist, a much more relaxing experience. The entire staff, from the moment you walk in, greet you with smiles, and make you feel welcome. They go out of their way to make you as comfortable as you can be. Even though, I may not love going and having dental work done, these people I would definitely recommend to anyone that has the same fears as I do. This place was awesome. So caring, personable, comforting. I went in for pain I was having in my upper and lower jaw and found out I needed 2 root canals. From the time I went in to the time I left was a great experience. Very thorough with you and explain everything without being pushy or rude. The Dr. Has light hands and was very delicate from the shots to the procedure. The prices are fair. The patient care coordinator, cathy, is very friendly and even texts you to follow up with you and answers any questions. I drive 30 minutes to come here everytime. Would recommend to everyone.

This is by far one of the best dental facilities Ive been to. Theyre clean, comfortable, and friendly with their patients. I was able to see the actual condition of my teeth in photos when Im there, and they even sent me a thank you note after my last set of work was done. While being worked on, they have TVs mounted above the chair for you to watch while you have the work done, and will offer Netflix of Amazon prime shows for you to see. Theyre great with the numbing process as well, and as someone who never does well with it, I barely even felt it.

Everyone in the office are very kind and friendly. I appreciated how the dentist did not try to push to get unnecessary prodecures. I felt safe during my visit given all measures in place to avoid COVID-19-related risks.

Called on a Friday around 4pm for a pain in my mouth and was given a 5 day away appointment. 10mins later I get a call asking if I would be available for a Monday 2pm appointment. Mind you all the dental places are booked out two weeks due to covid 19 precaution. Of course I said yes! Got there and they had precaution steps and I was checked in quickly!Once checked In, I was assigned to Jenny. Let’s just say Jenny needs a raise as she made me so comfortable! Made sincere conversation and walked me through all the steps as I do have anxiety. She asked me what I would like to watch on the tv but due to my anxiety I wanted my head phones and to be able to close my eyes. She comforted me and said 100% do able! I had the billing lady come in the room to explain the cost and with the help of Jenny I picked what plan was best for me in the long run! I didn’t catch my doctors name but she was great, explained to me what she was going to do and comforted me through my fear of the shots. Once they were done pulling my tooth they confirmed their work, explained what to expect and Jenny gave me a nice warm towel(with my choice of scent) to wipe my face. Oh and they put some kind of lip balm throughout my procedure so I didn’t leave with cracked lips as I have at other dentistry’s! It’s the little things I appreciated!Checking out was fast, made a follow up date and got a ice pack goodie bag. Overall I have never experienced this great of a visit. See you guys in two weeks for follow up and other dental procedures!

Had a wonderful experience at Smile Horizons! The staff were so welcoming and treated me with utmost care. And, the place is new, everything is squeaky clean, I love it! They are professional, compassionate (as I am a very anxious patient) and take the time to explain every detail. The office is state of the art, very clean and comfortable. Dr. Uy’s patient coordinator even followed up with me afterwards to see how I was recovering. I would highly recommend Dr. Uy and the team at Smile Horizons Dentistry.

The office is big and equiped with high end techs. All the staffs are very professional and exuberant. I would like strongly recommend the clinic to everyone. I had my crowns done in just a couple hours on the same day, thanks to Dr. Nou and Uy and 3D print technology.

I have intense anxiety. Dr. Uy and Jenny went above and beyond to make me comfortable. The worst thing you can do for someone like me is to make them feel like they have no control. They let me control everything! What dental assistant watches youtube videos with you so you can make it through your procedure? The front desk staff has made me feel like a personal friend. You can tell that the whole team truly enjoys one another and that they are not stressed out. I’ve never seen a Dr. who treats her staff better. They love her. Why does this matter? I get treated just as well by people who respect one another. We’ve all experienced the lack of customer service in this town. I’ve often left an establishment feeling like Chik-Fil-A ought to do some training. Not necessary at Smile Horizons. You rock! Thanks for the after procedure check ups that aren’t fake!

Okay first of all, this is not your typical dental office. Waiting room has large, comfy lounge chairs, but i didnt wait long to get seen. Hallway feels like Im walking towards a hotel room, and not some torture chamber like you see in movies! You can tell that they put in a lot of effort to make patients comfortable! Best part was they used some tiny camera to take pictures of my mouth and let me see what they could see. Hate it when dentists never show me whats going on and just tell me what they think i need fixed. And check this, theres a TV on the ceiling that you can watch multiple shows on when youre leaned back on their dental chairs. The aromatherapy and scented towels to protect your neck from water are nice touches (coz i always hate that when water runs down my neck), aaaand a warm scented moist towelette after my appointment so i can freshen up. I gotta say, Dr. Uy and her staff are super gentle and thorough.

This is your NEW dentist! For those of you who do not like dentist visits (like me) this place will change your mind. I went in for a deep cleaning and fillings (which I have been avoiding) and had thee best experience.Kept me comfortable, and constantly checked to made sure I stayed comfortable. No pain! I usually need anxiety meds and nitrous. This is the first time in years, that I did not need anything other than the local anesthesia.The space is relaxing and calm. Comfortable exam chairs. TV on the ceiling so you can be distracted during the process. Has a total spa feeling. They put a lot of thought and effort into making the environment comfortable.During the session, they take care of small, yet comforting details, like applying Vaseline on my lips to make sure my mouth doesnt get dried out, shaded safety goggles so that Im not blinded by the exam light or drowned by the water pik. They made sure I had small breaks during the sessions since I had a few things to take care of. They took their time to consider my comfort level. TOTALLY SQUASHED any anxiety.The staff is stellar in customer service, always accommodating and professional. All charges are thoroughly reviewed before doing the service, to make sure I was aware of out of pocket costs and what the insurance covers. Dr. Uy reviewed xrays with me, matched to what work needed to be done and provided clear direction on my future service plan to map out what needed to happen when and what was primary things to take care of for overall teeth health. She also discussed what could wait till next year, to make sure my insurance was always maximized and limited out of pocket expense.Highly recommend this office (and I am super picky about my healthcare and customer service) But this is BEST DENTIST OFFICE EVER! Exceeded expectations in all areas.

Great Doctors. I like the way that they give you options on how to treat your teeth and explaining to you every process. Very very gentle and the best part they tell you before they do anything. I have been to other dentist where they just tell you what theyre going todo, no options or explanation then just shove, poke, scrap and polish and tell you to open wide repeatedly and not ask if your doing ok. I do reccomend them. I am now a customer for life. i dont have to dread of having a check up. Keep up the good work guys and see you on my next appointment.I have posted this review in facebook too.
