Dr Benjamin and his staff are the most professional and truly caring I’ve ever experienced. They have gone far above and beyond exceeding my expectations. Having had issues for years and honestly just seeking a second opinion. Dr Benjamin took the time to discuss other options (both positive and negative) than just pulling my existing teeth and getting all on four full implant dentures.With his guidance I made the decision to get a few implants with bridges and to put crowns on my existing teeth. The outcome which is close to being finished has me wishing I had done this years ago. I highly recommend the the team at Desert Dental. You will not be disappointed

I love this office. They are so friendly and helpful. My mother came in from out of town and had an emergency and went to the closest dentist by my home. Since I was new to the area and they took good care of her I decided to go for my regular appointments. I’ve since had them fix a filling and one day I had my tooth break apart while crunching away on some chips. They were able to get me in the next morning and give me a crown. They have always been honest and fair. I came back several times worried about my new crown, I have sensitive teeth. Rather then do a root canal they encouraged me to be patient and wait for my tooth to calm down from the trauma of breaking and then having a crown put on it. I’m so glad because my tooth feels totally normal now. They are great and I would recommend them to anyone.

Office is modern and clean, the staff are friendly and professional, and the dentist actually cares about his work. He took time to assess my dental needs and explained what needs to be done and why. I had a great experience here and now instead of worrying about my teeth, I’m looking forward to my next visit to get them taken care of. Let me start out saying I was traumatized as a kid about going to the dentist and what I had done in the Army did not help at all. If i wast in Pain i still would not of gone. but this office did so much for me. the they moved my appointment up to see me faster, gave me antibiotics to help bring down the swelling and had me in the next day to not only take care of the wisdom tooth that was casing me problems but did a full deep cleaning top and bottom all at one time.. I remember they getting ready to put in the IV for full sedation and putting some nitrites on my nose.... then waking up at home with my wife everything done and resting well.my wife told me it took about an hour and a half for all of it. I feel much less pain now and it keeps easing up. my teeth and gums have never felt better. everyone in the office was nice and worked with me and the close was WAY less then I had thought it was going to be. If i ever have to go to the dentist again it will be here even if it is on the other side of town from me.. well worth the drive

My first time seeing Dr.Benjamin and I have to say, it wont be my last! I came here on vacation, and was recommended to his office for some work that I needed done. His facility was very relaxing, and had a therapeutic feel to it. Very clean and his staff was not only pleasant, they were very personable. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, and the dental assistant, made you feel comfortable (catered to your needs) and had a sense of humor so it made you feel more at ease and relieved of anxiety. Dr. Benjamin is extremely careful and gentle! I would highly recommend him for any dental work, and luckily I have family here, so Ill be paying him a visit again soon! Dr. Benjamin has been my dentist for nine years now. His skill, knowledge and very up to date care is top notch. I have total trust in him so I know he isn’t going to do work that doesn’t promote the health of my teeth and mouth.The office staff are wonderful too. They really make me feel at home and run his practice very professionally. Lillie is his right hand person and if I ever have questions or concerns she answers them right away.I like so many were afraid of the dentist. I elect sedation dentistry and it is a blessing. Firstly, I hadn’t been to a dentist in 15 years, and I have major anxiety about dental work due to bad experiences. The staff here were amazing, I was highly embarrassed to show any one my teeth after all my years of neglect. I was treated with dignity, and sedated laser LANAP surgery, and the removal of a couple wisdom teeth was suggested as a first step to getting things back in shape.I went in, and was sedated, and a few hours later (that seemed like about 15 minutes with the sedation) I was out the door. I had read a lot on line about this procedure, and post op pain management was mentioned quite a bit. It is with great pleasure I can report to you that I had absolutely zero, nada, zilch pain after returning home. I am now so happy to have started this road to someday being able to show my teeth when smiling, after a lifetime of hiding my teeth. This has also finally given me enough hope for having a presentable smile someday that it has inspired me to quit smoking for the first time in 30+ years. I truly look forward to working with the staff here to continue the process.

My husband and I avoid dentists as we’ve had bad experiences with them. It’s nerve wracking to go to one but today we had no choice as our teeth are in terrible shape. Lili is so friendly and knowledgeable, I really like her energy. The other two ladies were very nice and good at what they do as well. Dr. Ellsworth was our doctor, he made me feel relaxed and comfortable. He was also genuinely concerned for my husband’s health. Will stick with them for a while

Everyone is always so friendly. They are very efficient and you dont have to wait very long, theyre pretty on schedule with your appointment times. The staff makes me feel welcome and takes good care of what my teeth need. I would definitely recommend them. Danielle is great for cleanings. and Dr. Kern has done a lot of work for my teeth from filling, root canals, to extractions.

Just had an emergency visit regarding an abscesses tooth that had a previous root canal. I wish I found dr. Ben in the first place.... Not only do I feel 100% better already but I got some clear advice about other issues that need to be addressed. I will be switching dentists permanently to dr Ben. Conscious sedation is the only way to have dental work in my opinion. Painless and stress free. Thank you guys so so much.

Dr. Benjamin came to my rescue this morning for a dental emergency. I texted a message late last night to their website that an older crown had fallen off of my front tooth. He textd back early in a.m. and met me at the office that morning and fixed me right up. Excellent service at this office. Lily, the patient advocate is excellent and quite patient. I see Dr. Benjamin only. Honestly, I’m not comfortable with the other members of the staff working on my mouth as I like consistency and regularity as my nature. So what works best for me as someone who understands my comfort level and levels of pain etc.Their cosmetic work has been excellent thus far. I did have one minor issue in which they corrected so overall I would recommend their services and I’m quite picky.They let me wear my headphones to cut out the drill noise etc. as long as they can accommodate me their work is thorough.I would recommend to my friends and family.Also, they do sedation dentistry in which I did opt for on one occasion. Just keep in mind you’ll need a driver.

I had a great experience with Desert Dental. Had a complex case with my old implants addressed with professionalism I was looking for but did not get in a couple of other places. New implant worked out really great as well. Thanks for Dr. Benjamin and his staff.I highly recommend this place to anybody who is looking for quality and professional approach.

The actual dentist and hygienist that do the work in your mouth are not the problem. The issue that is a huge negative is the office manager and front office employees that you have to deal with.I asked from the very beginning, after a full checkup and X-rays for a complete total for all procedures. As I was having numerous extractions and would need partial dentures top and bottom And not knowing how much my insurance would cover to give me a worse case total that I would have out of pocket. I paid up front on December 27th prior to extractions. After that I had to wait for gums to heal before I could have partials made. I went back and after 2 months and had impressions made and was told at that time that the partials would be another $2000 + more and I would need a couple more impressions and a couple more months of wearing just a top temporary partial with just front teeth on top. I was quite upset and I told the woman I talked with originally that I asked up front for a grand total on the high side before any work was done. I went back in and to talk in person and she was not there but was brought back in a room to talk with the office manager Zammy. I told her I wanted a complete printout of all the charges and payments before going any further. She was very evasive and showed me on her computer what broke dow to me still having a credit of $270+ dollars and would still have to pay $2000 more for partials. Then the office closed due to corona virus which I understand. I was called when they were going to open again and was told I would be one of the first to come back for another impression. I told Zammy at that time that I wanted this to be my only and lastImpression and to get my partials made and to also give me an exact total of my final out of pocket expense and make it worst case so I would not get jacked up again for more money. That was in April 2020. Now it is the 1st of July and I ave not heard back from Zammy or anyone at Desert Dental. I also just received a balance due bill of $274. I don’t know where my supposed credit of that amount went. I still look like a jack-o-lantern and have since December 2019 and still nothing from Desert Dental except a bill in the amount of my credit and no further contact.The dentist was good but BEWARE of billing and front office lip service especially Zammy the supposed office manager.I guess I will have to take legal action against them over the latest bill and figure out where my credit went.I know they had as we all did a shutdown during the COVID outbreak but they have been open for a while now and I still look like a jack-o-lantern 🎃 and owe miraculously the amount of the credit I had.BEWAREand get everything in writing!!!

I have never encountered a more competent, compassionate, or skillful group of people in a dental practice. Brianna is a treasure, as she handled the curating of medical records I needed for my complex case, and made me welcome with her warmth. They were running a tab behind, since they are very busy, but also fully redeemed themselves by really being, Comprehensive, Expedient and Efficient in taking care of me. It had been a long time since I have seen a dentist. I kept putting it off until I experienced tooth pain. I came to Desert Dental on recommendation of a co-worker. It was a good dental experience. Everyone there are extremely nice and friendly. The hygienist took her time to explain things and didn’t try to rush me through.

I originally visited another dentist office in the area and even with insurance I was still having to pay a ridiculous amount out of pocket. They had no payment plans nor was even willing to give me any options. Desert dental staff was amazing!!! Dr. Benjamin made me feel very comfortable and seems like a very good dentist that I can trust. Jazmin the receptionist was super helpful and worked with my while giving me OPTIONS! Dr. Yang and the whole staff at Desert Dental are amaxing. I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist and Dr. Yang and the staff did everything right to make me feel comfortable. They walked me through every step they took and made sure I knew what was going on. Dr. Yang is also very honest. I have no problem coming back.

Dr Yang is the best! She is honestly fantastic. My mom, wife and mother in law have all been clients of her and Dr Benjamin. I’m sad to need to write this bad review but the new dental hygienist Carolyn who works there is terrible at doing teeth cleaning. I’m not being rude but facts are facts. You’re either good at something or not, and sometimes you need to call out something for what it is.My wife came home and complained from her last cleaning that it felt like a good cleaning hadn’t been done, her gums hurt and it was very poor experience. Who ever they had before used to do a good job, so I thought I would still give them a 2nd chance. Honestly it was the worst teeth cleaning I’ve had in my life and my gums were bleeding more then they ever normally do after leaving from any prior cleanings I’ve done. I now unfortunately feel like a good job wasn’t done so I will go to another Dental office to get a proper cleaning. In my cleaning water has being sprayed all over me, it was rushed and I was tempted to get up from the dental chair in the middle because i felt so unconfortable and unsafe. Dr Yang is awesome, but she is going to continue loosing more good clients families and business if they don’t get better hygienist and staff helping their clients have positive experiences: and not negative ones...

I have been a patient here for many years. I have always been impressed by Dr. Benjamin and his staff. They are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure I get the treatment I need.

I believe the reason Dr. Benjamin opted to no longer be my Dentist May 8, 2015 is due to the O rings only lasting about a week or so...and that the top Denture is out of alignment and rocks due to one of the implants breaking in half which could not be extracted, therefore Dr. Benjamin put another implant in a different area which is making the alignment different. The implants were done a couple of years ago and the constant short term use of the O rings has been a huge disappointment.You can run but you cannot hide....what goes around comes around....word of mouth can be your best or worst advertising.

My dentist was awesome! He administered the anesthetic slowly and gently. It did not hurt and I did not experience that terrible shaky feeling of anxiety. He gave me a root canal and prep for two crowns. He gave prescriptions for antibiotics and pain. Great job!

This was my first time here. They were sweet from the moment I spoke with them on the phone weeks ago, and even sweeter in person. The girl who took my xrays was gentle, the hygienist was amazing and super friendly.... I could be her BFF, and the doctor was great!!! She wanted to know what was of importance to me first. I loved that in her. She listened to all of my concerns. I will be returning May 1st for my cleaning, and then after that we will start the work on my teeth.

Im so happy I went to Dr. Ilya Benjamin, Im telling you I was terrified to get my wisdom teeth removed. Ive never undergone surgery before and avoided it for two years, because I couldnt find a doctor whom I trusted. The surgery was so smooth, and I didnt feel groggy or loopy afterwards like most people complain of. First time back at a dentist in years and had to have my wisdom teeth pulled but the staff here was wonderful and made my experience a great one thank you!

The staff and Dr. Paul, the dentist I saw, were all friendly, professional, and real easy to talk to. They work with you and your financial situation to see what they can do to help you. I will go to them every time I need a dentist, and I have to drive in from Pahrump. I would recommend everyone to go to Desert Dental on Valle Verde (215 & Valle Verde)

Ive worked with Dr. Benjamin for over three years. He listens to his patients, cares about them and their comfort level. His office staff are great for making you feel welcome. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am happy with the service I receive here each time I come. My only complaint is the appointment confirmation process. I love the reminders but if I am unable to answer when they call they will continue to call until they receive a verbal confirmation. I understand why they do it and dont need a response from the dentist , but a simple reminder with expected 24 hour cancellation policy is all I need.More effort could be made on calling patients back on time. When I have to wait 30 minutes, my schedule is behind. My time is valuable too.More effort could be made on callinhour

Ive used Desert Dental for past 15 years. Staff is always kind and courteous and they are always on time with appointments. Desert Dental is very innovative as they always stay current and have the latest and greatest tools and products.

I am so very pleased with Desert Dental. We were transferred from Indianapolis to Las Vegas for my husbands job. We had a great Dentist, Dr. Starla Goldman, Hygenist and office staff in Indy. I went today for a cleaning and exam and I have to tell you I am thrilled to find a caring professional Dr. Kern, Rosa &Hygenist, Danielle and staff at Desert Dental. Great customer service, follow up calls after the procedure and they forwarded all the information for me to deal with some other issues, totally unexpected over the top service in my opinion. I found this place about 10 years ago and the service has always been at the highest standard. They have a wonderful team. They are well staffed with highly qualified dental assistance. They deal with problems on the same day and schedule return visits only if needed. They work well with dental insurances and I always get the best service. Now I bring my family and they have all had a great experience as well. My daughter is 3 and just had her first visit, I expected her to just get seen and she felt very ok with the check up. They were very friendly and she allowed for a flouride polish, boy was I shocked! I was so happy with the way they handled her first visit ever. I dont plan to ever go any where else unless they send me there. 5 STARS
