This place is an annoyance to the neighbors, the gardeners go and work very early in the morning almost every day, even on the weekends and leaf blow for hours, sometimes they pile the leaves on the street and leave them there. One of the employees car alarm goes off constantly. On top of that Ive heard the staff yell at the people living in there, when I have called they dont answer the phone. Next time time its going to be a police call

My grandma has been a resident for about 9 months now and I have to say that this place brought joy to her life, during this pandemic we havent been able to see her in person but the staff works so hard to make sure we stay in communication through phone calls or video calls. Im very thankful for all the staff at Cirtus Court!

We had a very difficult time placing my mother in other communities and the communities we previously had her at just did not meet our expectations. Citrus was truly a blessing and we could not happier.

Very happy with Citrus Court, my grand father moved in during covid and I was hesitant at the beginning for the unknown of how they will handle if there was ever covid in the facility, but they have been very cautious and have put all the precautions in place and have kept everybody safe.

I was looking to place my mother-in-law in a home because I am no longer able to care for her full time. I visited Citrus Court and was very impressed, quiet a little gem. The staff was very welcoming, and the seniors appeared very happy. I know my mother-in law would have enjoyed this facility, but unfortunately I was unable to move forward due to budget concerns. Would definitely strongly recommend any one else looking in the area to check out this facility.

The employees here are so inconsiderate of the residents, they have the Gardeners come so early in the morning being loud and I’ve heard them yelling at the residence and there’s always marijuana smoke coming from the place I do not recommend this assistant living home.

I have my sister at Citrus Court for almost 2 years now. I would like to say the establishment seems to have inproved quite a bit in the last 4 months. The new employees have to pass a drug test now. Also the new director is downstairs with an open door police instead of hiding upstairs along with a lot of other useless staff. I was considering moving my sister but not anymore. For the price it is a good place right. I visit quite often and was told long long ago The more you visit these facilities the better care your loved one will recieve I believe that is true at all facilities.

Ive shopped many assisted living, Alzheimer and dementia communities over the past 9 years. By far Ive yet to come across any as ridiculous and ghetto run as the two in Hemet CA. Recently I experienced an interview (If it could be labeled as such) for a Maintenance Director position with Citrus Court. During my wait (The manager was 23 minutes late to the agreed upon meeting time) I observed several staff walk in and out of the dining/TV room and not once ask a resident if they were ok, or needed anything. It wasnt until after 30 minutes and I had conversations with three residents was I asked if I had been helped, this by the van driver, very nice person. Finally, I was met by a woman, the manager (Shannon), who merely gestured to my entering the office, no hand shake, just a complaint about walking up a flight of stairs. Zero pleasantries, not very welcoming at all. After I sat down, I was told the position was rather menial, and basically consisted of delivering boxes upstairs and mowing the lawn (Which would explain the low pay). After the description of the job was given, I was then given the Do nots.. Dont have sex with the staff, were mostly female here .. Dont complain when I ask you to do something, and Dont call my boss and go over my head, ever. I really only stayed as long as the show continued, I was rather entertained at the extreme lack of professionalism. To top it off I was then told I would be responsible for the $84.00 background check, refundable ONLY if hired, comical. I have been in the property management industry for 27 years, never once have I been so appalled by lack of training, lack of management skill, and lack of respect. Now I can say I have been so appalled, twice. Citrus court and Citrus Gardens. Both Northstar communities. These are communities where our mothers and our fathers in most cases will enjoy their end of life process. The lack of caring and respect I witnessed during my time there was heartbreaking. In my honest opinion, with some serious upgrades in training of staff and a distinct shift in management style and attitude, these two places can be great, can be a home, not an overpriced storage facility. Also mentioned was the revolving door with staff. Maybe provide an accurate job description. Someone such as myself sees Maintenance Director, far cry from what I was told. You might want to advertise for an on-call Handyman. Northstar may also take into consideration hiring a Spotter, one trained and educated enough to inspect and report on their properties. Might cut down on employee turnover.
