After being to many dental offices, I would give this place 5 stars.Dr. Bergonio is absolutely amazing. She takes the time to explain things and makes me feel comfortable. They also have a great appointment system that notifies you via text (etc) so, appointments well never be missed. Her staff is also amazing, they are all very helpful, and knowledgeable, and can be flexible when needed. Till this day I have nothing negative to say, and would recommend Perfect Smile Dental to any of my family and friends.

Great staffs and very kid friendly. My daughter was afraid of having to go to the dentist even as she sat on the chair she cried. The dental hygienist made sure to make her feel comfortable and less scared. The appointment went very smooth. I definitely recommend this Perfect Smile to anyone.

Perfect Smile was recommended to me by my brother after I had to switch dentists. So far I am very pleased with the treatment I get here, and since they are located so close to where I live the travel time is very convenient for me.

I’ve been visiting Perfect Smile for the last four years and I’ve never been disappointed with the service of Karen Bergonio, DDS.For anyone who needs a root canal (Ive had three), Karen made it as pain free as possible. I had nearly no pain during or after all three procedures, and Karen nearly breaks the myth of a painful procedure through her amazing and careful practice.Personally I love visiting Karen. And I highly recommend her for all dental services, in Hasbrouck Heights and in Nanuet as well! Kudos to Perfect Smile

My husband & I have been patients of Dr. Bergonio for the past few years. She is a very gentle and caring dentist at the same time professional, knowledgeable & a perfectionist. Her assistant, Ivan, is very pleasant as well as knowledgeable. I highly recommend her, especially for anyone who is fearful of going to a dentist.

First time patient. This was a god send, consulted with me on all dental issues and listened to my concerns about grinding and locking my jaw at night. It was my first visit to a dentist in many years but there was no judgement and very kind. Set me up with a guard same day. the cleaning was thorough and gentle. Also offered a topical numbing gel for comfort which I’ve never had before but it was amazing. I would highly recommend. Great “bed side” manner chatty but not to much.

Im terrified of the dentist. Way too many bad experiences. New to the area and tried this place. So happy I did! The only eh I have is the guy taking my xray could have been more personable. Seemed like he was in a bad mood, said very little. Not a big deal. The doctor though is awesome. Nice. Understanding. Empathetic to my dental fears. What I loved was the hands on approach. My entire life dental appointments involved 30 min of the hygienist cleaning followed by 90 seconds of the dentist looking. Not here. The dentist did the cleaning herself and spent the entire time with me and she did a great job. Have to go back for a filling, hopefully a similar experience.*I never saw my xray though and would have liked her to go over it with me. Im not very trusting due to past dentists.

I love my dentist Dr Bergonio she takes away all my nervousness and anxiety . If i had known her long time ago i would have save most of my teeth . She takes time on cleaning and saving my teeth and you wont even know you’re done. I would never go to any dentist but her .👌🥇🤗

My 10 year old broke his front tooth at school tripping over a soccer ball. He looked like a hockey player. Dr. Bergonio agreed to fit him in that day and somehow managed to add make an extension to his tooth so that now it looks normal. All the teachers at school kept pulling him to one side the next day to see if they could see the join (you cant). That was several months ago and its doing great. No more soccer for him in the playground though :)

I have recently started going to Perfect Smile in Hasbrouck Heights and I am extremely pleased with the whole staff. They are friendly and accomodating. Dr. Karen Bergonio is awesome. She explained everything to me and made sure I was always comfortable. I am happy to have made the change from my former dentist where I usually just see the dentist for 2 seconds and that’s it. Dr. Bergonio spends the time with you and I trust her treatment plan to make sure my teeth and gums stay healthy. I would definitely recommend this place!

Dr Bergonio fixed my sons broken tooth a few weeks ago. I was freaking out because it was a permanent tooth and a couple of the surrounding teeth were also damaged. I was able to first talk to her on the phone and i explained the extent of the break. She explained why it was important to see her and she fit us in the same day. She patched, bonded and it looked fantastic. We just had the follow up visit and everything went well. Tooth saved so far. Dr. Bergonio is straight up honest with you, knowledgeable, and immediately you trust her.Weve been to both the Nanuet and Hasbrouck Heights locations. Both easy to get to and plenty of parking (Nanuet has a lot). Staff always helpful and sweet.

Dr. Bergonio and her staff have been caring for my teeth and my wifes teeth for about 5 years and we consistently have had compassionate, skillful care. It was most appreciated especially when dental emergencies occurred.Being able to have a replacement crown made in her office and attached the same day rather than having a dentist make an impression and send it to a lab to wait weeks for a crown to be returned and fitted is another service of hers that I have used on multiple teeth, with much appreciation. I also had Dr. Bergonio provide Invisalign for me and I am thrilled at how they straightened my teeth!My wife and I both highly recommend Dr. Bergonio for any patients requiring dental care.

This was my first time visiting Perfect Smile Dental. I must say I was impressed by the intial interaction over the phone from scheduling my appointment to the warm welcome upon arrival and the office was immaculately clean. The staff was professional, courteous and friendly. The reason for my visit was my lower left jaw (upon touch, was slightly painful), Dr. Bergonio-Aro immediately assessed the situation calmly with diligence. It was merely that my teeth were uneven and causing jaw pain. She smoothed it down and it felt so much better. I will definitely go back to visit her again. I was nervous as we all can be visiting any doctor, but Dr Bergonio made me feel comfortable, she was patient and very knowledgeable....Thank you for accommodating me last minute as well- see you soon! :)

Went to Peefect Smile for the first time and i had a very good ecperience.Staffs were all welcoming and accomodating. The place is very clean.Dr Bergonio was straight forward on telling me the solution for my problem. kudos to Perfect Smile! I would highly recommend this place.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Bergonio for over 5 years in both the Nanuet and Hasbrouck Heights location. She has always been extremely gentle and patient with my kids. She takes the time to explain procedures and you never feel rushed. I would definitely recommend visiting Dr. Bergonio in either location.

Perfect Smile dentistry in nanuet...They contacted me a year later to bill me for a visit that the dentist waved the cost for. Citing the incompetency of the former receptionist to why i was never charged. After speaking with the manager and the dentist herself. Both offered no apology only that there was a mistake and the money was owed. Im beyond upset. I was ready and able to pay at the service was told there was no charge... at no point did ANYONE, outside of todays call, try to contact me to address is this mistake . Nor did they mention it at my appt 2mths later.My 2yr old had her cleaning 9/2016. No insurance, they quoted $100, thought it was a fair price. After the visit i went to pay the front desk... the young lady went to speak with the dentist and returned to say The doctor isnt charging you for todays visit. I was surprised but appreciative. I returned to the office 2mths later for my own apt. Apparently they tried to send a bill, but addressed it to my then 2yr old and it was subsequently returned via the post office

I have been going to the offices (Nanuet and Hasbrouck Heights) of Dr. Bergonio for several years now and each visit has continued to meet the high level of customer service and professionalism expected from any healthcare provider. In addition to her short waiting time and flexible scheduling, she answered all of my questions and is very knowledgeable. I received my invisalign treatment earlier this year and Dr. Bergonio mapped out a detailed treatment plan, explaining the movements of my teeth and how long the treatment will be. She is very patient and thorough in discussing recommendations and follow up care.
