My first experience and it was great! Staff was so kind and knowledgeable. The environment was warm and inviting. I loved that she didn’t ask any questions about what I want, she determined what my skin needed and just did it. She discussed my skin type and things I could do for it. My skin feels incredible. Excellent facial! My skin hasnt looked this good in a decade. I drove 3 hours to meet my daughter for a spa day. And honestly I am debating.about whether it would be worth it to drive 3 hours on the regular because she was so professional, so lovely as a person and didnt even ask what kind of facial I wanted, she just gave me what she thought my skin needed. And the Aveda cleanser she feels so 9soft andsold me is amazing! My skin has never been in better shape.

Came in with a lot of stress and tension in my upper back. Therapist was able to fit me in last minute and the stress fix massage was such a relaxing and relieving experience. Therapist hit all the right spots in my upper back. So thankful 🙏🏼💆🏻‍♀️

I get massages regularly from all over the place. I have found a great massage therapist Taryn- whom I now see often. The facility is calm and nice. The staff are wonderful. Great place to go for many different services and products.

Ive only gone to The Beauty Spa for massages, but they are great! The staff all work hard to create a calm and soothing environment from the moment you walk through the door. That is the fastest hour ever!!! But I always walk out feeling refreshed and relaxed. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great massage!

The Beauty Spa is an aromatherapy experience like no other! As soon as you enter the house, you are immersed in a luxurious atmosphere that is pampering and nourishing to the soul. I love the manicures and facials especially! The staff is warm and personable and obviously committed to your well-being.

I am always satisfied with my massages. The deep tissue massages are exactly what I need. I schedule regularly and find this works the best for my body. The staff are knowledgable and very helpful regarding their line of products. The smell is amazing and I feel at home at this Spa:)

Way too overpriced. I went in with my friend for Happy Hour Toes, which if you look at the prices it says $46 dollars for a minimum of 2 people. Going off of that logic you would think the price was for two people but we quickly found out that was not the case. Incredibly misleading. The women doing our toes were sweet but the work was poor. Youre better off going to Holly Nails for a great $10 pedicure.

Came in for a gel manicure and pedicure and the results were awful! It literally looked as if I had painted them myself with no work done on my nail beds. Also, way to much nail polish was applied causing the gel to clump together. When I asked for one of my nails to be redone she simply removed the clump and applied more nail polish making it look even worse. I payed absolutely WAY to much for this. In addition to this, I was constantly being asked by the owner if I could ask my friends to help her with some stray kittens she found and if I wanted to work at her friends horse barn. After I declined she continued to ask. I will not be returning, this was the last thing from a relaxing experience.

Absolutely love love love this place! Today was my first day and it wont be my last. Super professional, sweet, and genuine people - Ill be coming back!

Great atmosphere and exceptional customer service. I went for a pedicure and was not at all pleased with the results, especially for the price that was paid. I think its more of a skin care business than nails.

Love coming here. It is so relaxing as soon as you walk in and the massages are incomparable. They are very welcoming and I love how friendly their staff is. Its very warming.

I have gone to the Beauty Spa for years and see Shannon L. on a regular basis. She is wonderful at what she does whether its waxing or a facial. She is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind and the exact personality you need when going to a spa. The Beauty Spa is by far the best Spa in Harrisonburg. I recently had hands down the best hot stone massage ever. The only minor things I can be critical about would be their nail salon for pedicures could be better and they dont have a good ability to handle large groups. The Aveda products they use and Essie polish is the best but the overall cleaning of the nails isnt as thorough as what you might get a lower cost local nail salon. If you are a bridal party or looking for a girls weekend, the Beauty Spa is small and doesnt have a large relaxation room typical of most spas. Overall I would absolutely recommend the spa to anyone!

I called to make a last minute mani and pedi appointment for two people and Anita was very accommodating. They were so booked that she was personally willing to come in early to try to make it work for us. I appreciated the excellent customer service!

I want to start off by saying this is a beautiful spa and everyone I interacted with was so sweet and friendly. I went In for a Brazilian wax had high expectations based on the atmosphere and staff.About 1/3 of the way through my wax I noticed that the aesthetician had dipped the same stick just used on me back into that wax pot. I then realized there were no used sticks in a trash can that I could see, which led me to believe that she had been using the same stick the entire time. I then asked, upfront, if she had been using the same stick throughout the wax. To my dismay, she said she had been using the same stick and that I was definitely not the only client she had waxed with this pot of wax.While the technique was really good and I could tell that she was paying close attention to detail, I couldnt allow her to continue to wax my inner labia. I have never in my life had an aesthetician double dip or think its an okay practice. Its an unsafe and unhygienic practice; The wax does not get hot enough to kill bacteria. As clients, we trust aestheticians to provide their services in a safe and hygienic manner, which is why I was so shocked by how casually this aesthetician confirmed the practice.It is up to each person to decide what they ate comfortable with, but for the aforementioned reason, I cannot recommend this establishment.
