I have been getting massages for 7 years and have have countless massages. I had my first massage at Cedar Stone Spa with Connor. The front desk staff were polite. The rooms were clean and tidy. The massage was brilliant. She focused on everything I asked and more. She checked in with pressure. She used very unique techniques to get to trigger points and incorporated stretching with the massage without it feeling like a sports massage. Hands down , one of the best massages I’ve had. Highly recommend Cedar Stone Spa and Connor!

The staff is wonderful here and the atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. The woman who did my nails was super sweet and did an excellent job! Ill never go anywhere else in town.

I have finally found the best massage therapist EVER! Casey is truly talented and has the best personality, I’ll gladly be making the hour drive from home to visit the spa again! We were on a getaway at Massanutten and I took my friend in for her first massage, she had a wonderful experience with her therapist as well. I am so glad I did some research and skipped the resort spa, I have never been to a spa I loved as much as Cedar Stone! We opted for the Cedar Stone body experience and it was incredibly relaxing. The atmosphere was so peaceful and inviting from the moment we walked in the door, and every single person we encountered was super kind and personable. Thanks so much for a great experience!

I was visiting from MD and needed 5 massages for fathers day at kind of a last minutes notice. At first the spa stated they only had space for 2. A few days before my arrival in VA I was contacted and told they could accommodate all 5. Plans ran late and the spa still held my appointments making it priority to contact me and confirm if everything was ok. My husband has never been so buffed and shiny looking 😂. He says the massage was amazing, the therapist was very polite and hes never been more relaxed than after having massage therapy at Cedar Stone.

My boyfriend and I just went in for a couples massage. We were both a little nervous and didnt really know what to expect since this was our first massage. We had Betty and Casey and they were wonderful in their professionalism and experience! We will definitely be back!

I had a lymphatic massage with Dawn and it was so wonderful. I felt great afterwards. Shes a miracle worker and helped my stiff neck to loosen right up. Still feels great the next day. I love the atmosphere, attention to detail, and complete care for clients.

Beautiful and relaxing! Came here during our anniversary vacation and did couples massages. They did a wonderful job! Very customizable, professional, and the ambiance was better than any expectations we had. Everyone had a positively different experience and walked out feeling great! Will definitely go here again when back in the area!

Ive had two massages here so far and have been very pleased both times.

Enjoyed a spa lovers special which included a couples massage, couples facial and a couples pedicure. A little over 3 hours spent there. Staff was great! Very relaxed experience. Wife loved it. Will be going back next time Im visiting Shenandoah!

I called on a limb to see if there were any available massages. There was a spot open for noon, and I called at 11. Even though it was such a short notice, they fit me in. I had Dawn and she was phenomenal... I like deep pressure, and sometimes I dont get that for whatever reason (they dont think that Im capable of handling the pressure/think that I dont actually mean DEEP). She did not hold back and I so much appreciated it. It was exactly what I needed and I will be returning and requesting Dawn! Thank you thank you thank you! Also, the pricing is ABSURDLY low!!! Absolutely worth every dollar you spend.

My husband and I had a couples massage here. Our therapists took the time to talk with us and genuinely seemed to care about our wants and needs. They made us feel very comfortable with communicating to them what we were looking for. The atmosphere had a very healing, authentic vibe. The 90 minute massage was worth every penny.

Ive been going here for massages for years. Colleen is the absolute best. One time I went to another woman, though; she spent a good deal of the 90 minutes Id booked cleaning up, which wasnt cool. Today we went to celebrate my grandmas birthday with the fancy spa pedicure. When I called and booked it they said theyd set it up with chocolates, but I guess they forgot to do that because there was not a chocolate to be found other than the cookies wed brought ourselves. My mom and grandmother had delicious foot and calf massages, but my person forgot that part of my treatment ($40/each). Id suggest doing pedicures elsewhere and focusing on massages when you come here. Despite the couple of disappointments Ive experienced, Ill keep coming back. Get on their mailing list for the special deals around holidays.

Wow! My experience was just that great! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by such warm & friendly people! Jeremy Sweet was beyond amazing with my 45 minute Cedar Stone Therapeutic Wellness Massage! He explained how my first experience would be fit for a Queen (bonus points being called a Queen too)! He was right! My massage experience lived up to its name!!! Bianca Housden performed my Spa Pedicure & she was great!!! Down to earth, very precise, and took her time! I love my pedicure!!! I highly recommend booking your next self care appointment with these two! I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

I had a couples massage done last summer with a friend, the atmosphere is gorgeous and the room was amazing. They had soft robes, water and truffles waiting for us after our massage. Unfortunately I was in so much pain I could not enjoy any of these. Prior to my massage I had informed Morgan my therapist that I did suffer from occasional lower back pain. Nothing serious, just discomfort after hard workouts. I also informed her I liked a lighter pressure. My massage could be described as stones grinding into my body ( friend said hers was extremely painful as well and she also let her therapist know who responded with this is normal). I cringed with pain the entire time and spoke up several times during my massage to let her know It hurt. At one point I even told her to stop and move to a different spot. My body was so tense the entire time, and when she had me flip onto my back she looked at me and said relax your face and your body will follow. I cringed and painfully got through the rest of my massage. I paid and left. My next week was spent in and out of the hospital with what they diagnosed me with a very injured disk due to the massage. Cedar stone DID refund my money and offered me a soothing treatment which I declined. At that point I was unable to walk or feel anything in my legs for a week, my husband had to carry me to my appointments/bathroom and I now have to see a Chiropractor weekly due to this injury. I hope my experience is nothing like yours, I do hope the therapist who preformed my massage learns to read the body better and customize the massage to what the person needs.

Very accommodating spa. It was the only place I could find open on a Sunday, and they scheduled me one hr. after booking the appointment. Victoria was great!

Alissa was fantastic! My wait was short and comfortable while doing pre-check in paperwork (waterfall in background was soothing). Escorted in room and the WORK began. Hot stones, moisture oil, soft hands but knew the right spots to apply pressure. Recommend to everyone. Im going back!

The people who answer the phones cant be bothered to state the location you are contacting, and the alleged number for the Lucy Dr. location actually goes to their massage school on Main St. When scheduling at one location, I only find out yhat I was in fact scheduled at the other (far less convenient) location when the location I show up at is locked. Im sure if you can get past the snarky desk workers who are just there for the paycheck it is a perfectly agreeable place. I, however, will not waste any more time trying to even get an appointment in the first place. A very disappointing experience compared to past experiences at other spas/studios.

Ive been having massages at Cedar Stone for several years now and have yet to have a disappointing experience. I used to think of my massages as luxurious gifts I give to myself. Over time, I realize they are necessary self-care.

I highly recommend Cedarstone Spa for massages and foot treatments. Christine is excellent and can provide a deep massage, if you, like I, particularly enjoy this type of massage. She also adjusts well to those who prefer a gentler, more surface massage. Their reflexology treatments are also highly recommended.

My husband and I just visited and were both extremely happy with the service and the massage therapists. We will definitely be going back!

We get a couples massage here every so often as a treat. A bit pricey but worth every dime. Ask for Dawn if you want deep pressure.

This is really nice place! Its small, but cozy. We did the couples massage with hot stones and essential oils. It was to die for. We felt so relaxed afterward.

This Spa Is Amazing!! I had a 90 minute massage that blew me away. I had been experiencing lower back pain. Upon entering the space, I started to relax and just felt that something was going to be different. My therapist was Sara. After a short consult we began our session. Sara used so many different techniques to and sent me into bliss that I cant even really explain everything that happened. Her use of hot and cold stones was a totally unique experience. While my back pain was worlds better, it wasnt just the how she helped me with that, its just the overall feeling of care that I got from the place, I cant describe, it just gave a lot of peace and warmth.

My first time here and it was AMAZING Sara knew what she was doing!!

Great school and very accommodating. Will be returning here soon.

Got a prenatal massage from Sarah W. and it was AMAZING! I felt so relieved and she really focused on my target areas. My back feels better than it has in weeks. I would definitely recommend getting a massage from her, especially if you are pregnant! Aside from that, I wouldn’t spend money on a mani/pedi or spa day packages. The only time I felt pampered is when I was getting massaged! I’d rather spend the $75 on a great massage than a $170 on a massage and a mediocre mani/pedi! Still worth a visit though, like I said that massage was incredible.

My massage therapist Shannon was amazing the stones really topped it off, however I had to wait more than 30 minutes for my next service even though I purchased and paid ahead for a spa package. Everyone was kind during the wait and they gave me chocolates and tea.
