Our previous daycare sadly closed down and after walking through multiple centers in the area, the Butler Tech YMCA was the clear winner. Our son is so excited to go everyday and is back to improving his speech, socialization, and even being potty trained at 20 months - spurred by daycare.His teachers and the new director are caring and responsive. One thing I noticed after walking through other centers ... these teachers are actively engaged with the children. They don’t always hear me walking up to the playground or into the building ... and every time I get inside, they are truly present with the kids. Most centers we visited, the teachers were zoned out / maxed out / or playing on their phones.All around - I’m very happy! I see past negative reviews and it seems that the leadership change really squashed the previous concerns.

My daughter has been attending here for a year now. She has shown huge growth in her language and cognitive development in a small amount of time. The staff are great, the communication back to parents is awesome and timely.

These people don’t care about children and their staff are rude and treat the children horribly. My son loves everyone and would cry because he didn’t want to go to daycare because they were mean to them. Probably because I get vouchers so he’s known as a welfare kid.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star... Do not take your children here. The staff have so much drama that they are so caught up in that they won’t even acknowledge you as your dropping off or picking up your kids. It is very poorly managed. The director is barely ever available to talk in person and hard to reach on the phone as well... one staff member is very rude in particular and will belittle you and your child. They are always losing staff do to how poorly the place is ran. If you still chose to take your child here I can promise you will notice these issues. This place will not prepare your children for school. Might as well pay a teenager to stay at home and watch your children.

The YMCA Learning Center at Butler Tech has been a wonderful place for our family. It’s worth checking out if you are looking for childcare.
