Dr. Kumar is a really good physician. That being said his staff needs to be better trained on customer service. I understand the issue regarding safety and this pandemic, however the staff is just rude and often fail to use plain common sense.
Appointments can feel a bit rushed, but they allow walk-ins and have really convenient hours, so its a fair trade-off. There are also a bunch of other helpful health services here, like a Quest Diagnostics lab and an X-RAY center, so you can meet with some specialists at the same location. Convenience in scheduling is really important to me, so Ive had generally good experiences with Family & Internal Medicine of Dixwell Ave.
