My husband and I have been patients at Forrester Dental for many years. You won’t find a more professional, thorough, and caring dental office in the state of CT. Each member of the staff pays attention to your individual needs, are very gentle and always go the second mile on your behalf. We have always left their office feeling very well cared for. They are really, THE BEST!

As always, the staff is very nice and the work performed is done with care and attention to the patient. The hygienists are very careful, always working to ensure you are not in any discomfort but also ensuring your teeth leave clean and in good health. Dr. Forester has been taking care of my teeth for over a decade and I have never done better.

I never imagined that having a root canal would be something Id be thankful for... but since it introduced me to Dr. Forrester, it was well worth it. My first visit with Joe was on a Saturday about 15+ years ago for an emergency root canal. I was a teenager in braces who woke up with excruciating pain and was referred by my orthodontist to Dr. Forrester. I was never afraid of going to the dentist, but I was scared to death when he told me I needed a root canal... Even though it was the weekend/his day off he didnt attempt to start the procedure until I was 100% comfortable. I was full of tears and questions, but he was patient, caring, and provided matter-of-fact/straightforward answers (and even put on my favorite radio station!) to help me feel at ease. I have been going to Joe since that day and cant imagine going to anyone else. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Forrester and his practice. Joe is gentle and skilled and I dont know what he does, but I have never had such painless novocaine shots. His entire staff (Diane, Peg, Valerie, Bethany) are all amazing as well. The office is clean and Dr. Forrester and staff are professional, friendly, down-to-earth, caring, gentle, and excellent at what they do and I cant thank them enough.

Dr. Forrester and all his staff are fantastic. I have been going to him for a few years and every experience has been wonderful. This past year I did Invisalign through him and I could not be more pleased with the results. The whole process was efficient and as painless as possible. From filling my cavities to straightening my teeth, Dr. Forrester has provided top notch care.

The latest construction project involved caps for four thinning, unattractive teeth. Not only did Dr. Forrester do an amazing job of repairing my teeth, but the work was done with no discomfort whatsoever. Working along with Dr. Forrester is a professional, competent and alway helpful staff. I actually look forward to going to the dentist, but only because that dentist is Dr. Forrester!

Ive been going to Joe Forrester for 18 years or so and have been completely happy with him and his services. He, his wife Peg, and his entire staff are always friendly, efficient and professional. Through several fillings and two root canals he has never hurt me once -- how many people can you say THAT about after 18 years? The offie also does an excellent job of submitting bills to my insurance company, lessening the financial pain. Youll not find a better dental office!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Forrester for over 10 years now and I refuse to go anywhere else. I have bad dental anxiety and he and his assistant Diane make a great team and always get me through it. Dr. Forrester makes me feel calm, relaxed, safe, and on top of that he makes me laugh, taking the fear out of dental procedures. From the first moment I walked in the door I was warmly welcomed by the staff and waited comfortably in the clean and inviting waiting room. I was treated very kindly by the staff in all of my visits. Most importantly, Dr. Forrester was easy to talk with and a true professional in every sense of the word. He throughly explained the treatment that he recommended for me- Invisalign -to correct some crowding and shifting my teeth had since having braces removed many years ago. Every step of the process was explained to me and the results were outstanding. I thank Dr. Forrester and the wonderful staff for their professionalism and true caring of the individual patient. As I have lived in several areas of CT, I have had experience with several dental practices. You have an initial instinct when you first visit a medical professional. That instinct is usually proven right or wrong based on subsequent visits. At Forrester Dental, my instinct proved on target, this was a quality practice. Dr. Forrester or “Joe” as he prefers his patients or more accurately his friends call him, is a very talented guy with a soft touch. Office staff is kind and thoughtful. If you’re in the Hamden area, this is the place to go for top shelf dentistry.

I have been been doing all my Dentistry needs with Dr. Forrester even before he opened his own practice after leaving New Haven Dental . Joe Forrester is by far, the most honest and genuine kind hearted Dentist I’ve had in my 50 years of life . I’ve been going to the Dentist for all my life for both routine maintenance and prevention. Joe will NOT suggest unnecessary work that he can just bill. He is well trained in Dentistry, graduating from Temple University, and started his career here in Connecticut. Joe was born and raised in upstate New York, just outside of Buffalo, and has that mid west kindness that we New Englanders tend to sometimes forget . His wife Peggy works the front Desk and is always a pleasure to work with . He has 2 Dental Hygenists who are excellent to work with. I find costs to be reasonable and he works with me on extras . Forrester Dental LLC will submit insurance claims on behalf of whatever insurance company you may have . In my case, he is out of Network so my out of Network deductions go quickly but with my HSA, I’m able to afford it and get both routine maintenance and prevention covered without significant out of pocket costs . I highly recommend Forrester Dental to anyone seeking Dental Care in the Greater New Haven, Connecticut area.
