There massages and facials are not very good, to much $ for the serviced they actually provide. Its a shame because the place is kind of nice, and the girls at the front desk are sweet. But the management is terrible. I went in to cancel my membership in October of 2019 and they somehow convinced me to put on hold and then i can cancel. Once the hold was up they started charging my card again and i called and canceled. I was told i had to go in and sign a paper to cancel, which i did and was told that the manager had to be there. Do not give you card for them to hold this is a scam to no end. they are still charging my cart from last year. I have now restricted my account from every allowing Hand and Stone to ever charge my card. They are very dishonest company, I am not the only person that they have done this to. I am sure i wont be the last.

I walked in this place not knowing how it would be but from the moment the receptionist talked to me, I felt at home. They’re really nice and efficient. I had a classic facial and my girl IRIS is amazing! She kindly offered an upgrade to my facial without being pushy or anything. I declined it but I will definitely comeback for another facial and will be taking my mom with me for a massage. Great service. Great people!

I had a great experience at hand & stone . The massage therapist I had was very good and massaged the areas I had told her that needed extra work -on my legs. The spa was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was professional and was attentive. Offering coconut water and answering my many questions. I have had numerous massages during my lifetime and this was a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

Great massage, Kira is amazing and cares about her clients. She gave me stretching exercises! CBD massage was made for me. Front desk ladies were so sweet and helpful. The contract is month to month soon signed up. Convenient location too and a nail shop next door. Love it all!

I receive amazing massages every time i visit with Kristen at hand and stone of hackensack. She is trained in prenatal massages as well and hits every spot requested. She takes the time to get to know her clients and their needs and i always leave relaxed. The spa is always clean and organized; while the staff is very friendly and personable.

I used to be a member at massage envy but when I noticed hand and stone closer to me I decided to give them a try. I am so happy I did. I really enjoy my sessions and facials. I do not mind the suggestions and add ons they try to get you to try because some of the additions are so worth it.. like the CBD oil enhancement. They are there to recommend, and I do not mind that at all. The staff is so accommodating and always friendly. Plus the coconut water is always a treat for me. I highly recommend them and their services and cant wait until my next session.

I have been a member for about a year I let some packages accumulate and was about to cancelBecause honestly didn’t think it was worth it .I froze my account so that I could catch up and then I figured I would cancel until I had a massage from Ciara the girl is amazingly awesome she knows her profession well . The place was a very nice clean spot. I enjoyed the hot stone with oils, but wasnt a 100% satisfied with my massage therapist. He was very nice but I needed him to do my back and he only paid attention to my upper back. Never touched my lower back.

I told them 6 months ago that Im canceling my membership because they were charging my card every month. I called and told them at least 8 to 10 times that I have to cancel my membership because I cannot find the time to come and enjoy a massage. Yet they continue to charge my card every month to the point where I had to call the bank and get a new card so they could no longer charge me. So now they call my phone all the time to the point where I have blocked their number. Sounds like youre desperate for business.They are dishonest and deceitful. I have like 6 massage sessions owed to me And now they are sending me a bill for a past due balance. Rip off place. Dont go!! They did the same thing to my daughter and continued to hit her card every month and she has no time to go.

Poor service, don’t waste your money. $89.95 for a regular facial is not worth it. It is $69.95 for a regular facial but in order to get a mask you need to pay an additional $20.00 extra. Also, the facial did not work at all. I saw no difference at all. I do not recommend this store to anyone and I am very disappointed with my experience.

Do not use get their membership. It’s a total wast of money. I tried to cancel but despite calling repeatedly the continue to charge me monthly. Customer Service is horrible all you get is a confused receptionist who can’t help you. As far as rolling over the unused credits forget it they expire within the month. Don’t waste your money!

Great Massage, Too much Sales Push/Bait and Switch. My friend and I went the first week they opened, beautiful store, fantastic massage/facial, and we signed up for monthly package...BIG MISTAKE. I signed my husband up as a Fathers Day gift. Do the sessions expire? No, you can use them any time you want! NOT TRUE!!! Life got busy and the credits started to build....and so did their incessant sales pitches, calls, texts and emails. You can never get 2 massages booked at the same time and I cant figure out why. My husband and I just want to go at the same time, not wait for each other since that kills the relaxed feeling. I called to cancel the membership and was told you have to come in. I went in today and was so disappointed with their tactics. We each have 6 massages and now was told they must be used within 90 days of today. My options are....use them, lose them, or gift them. When I complained to the manager that this was never stated when we signed up, her response was I was not the manager then and the staff is all new since then and my staff knows what to tell people. Im sorry that they didnt tell you but thats what the policy is. I dont appreciate a manager that passes the buck. They tried to tell me my husband had to cancel his own package...even though I purchased it as a gift, signed his contract, I pay the bill each month, and he has never even been there yet. I told them that was illegal, and they let me cancel his as well....funny how they back down when you know your rights. They just wanted to keep that package and hope he wouldnt come in to cancel. The front saleswomen tried to tell me I could gift the sessions (but they still had to be used in 90 days from cancellation). I declined and cancelled. I told my friend who had also just cancelled, and she said they told her she had to pay a $10 charge to gift it to someone....interesting that they never told me that as I was complaining that this was a bait and switch! I will use up my credits and run far from this chain. They seem to be desperate for business by trying to hold onto clients, constant last minute offers because they have availability, and the huge signs in the window are anything but relaxing.Its really gimmicky now. Sad, because their services are actually great, but the sales tactics are a complete turnoff and aggravating. The funniest part...as Im dealing with this cancellation nonsense, a couple walk in and when the woman opens the door, the top hinge fell off the door and broke the door! They are literally falling apart! Enjoy their services, but dont fall for their sales pitches. You will really need the massage after all of the aggravation.

I was so relaxed that I fell asleep twice! I havent had a massage in awhile and this was the first time I have had a facial before - this will definitely not be my last! I dont know if I can wait until next month for my next appointment!!Take advantage of the new member exclusive!

Had a wonderful facial tailored just for me, by Iris, who has gentle but magic hands. I am a rosacea sufferer with super sensitive skin ( and eyes) and the whole experience was just magical from start to finish! Soothing products, no heavy fragrances, a gentle but thorough neck, shoulders, arms and hand massage made me feel like I was floating. All my strees melted away! Afterwards, my mature skin glowed, looked plumper and smoother, and I couldn’t stop smiling. Highly recommended, and if I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular customer. And NO redness afterwards.

Cheap spa and cheap services. They are too pushy with sales. Every inch of the way they try to upsell you. I wish the manager Tina would diet and exercise instead of being so loud and obnoxious in the waiting room. Its supposed to be a SPA!

The place is very elegant ... but the girls know absolutely nothing about massages. They have spent time rubbing on only one part of the body. They have no experience besides being expensive, they demand a tip by passing an envelope. I do not recommend it . Ahy better places not so elegant but if experienced and cheap .... I will never go back
