Great customer service. The staff is nice and the doctor is very friendly and talkative about any eye issues. He explains whats going on, what could happen, and what he recommends often.

It was my first time coming to AccuVISION. I have to say they have the best customer services and they help you own in any type of way. My sales advisor Lilia is just amazing and very informative. She helped me throughout my visit suggesting and making sure I picked the right glasses for me. She also went through my policy to see how much I have to pay and cover. Shes very friendly and always explains everything in detail and always gives you the best options that way you dont over spend. I really do recommend this place and if you get Lilia, I promise you she wont disappoint you and you will like her.

I have been going to this specific Accuvision for a few years now, they are extremely professional and answer all my questions I ever have regarding insurance. I like that they remember you and make your visit personable, Lilia is amazing 10/10 she knows the frames I like and always picks some out based on what I have told her I like. Picking frames is very difficult for me but since I’ve met Lilia it makes the process much quicker. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

This has been an interesting week! I am going on a trip Thursday and I as I was looking down on my staircase my glasses fell on the only wooden part!!! Broke my frames in half so of course I had to get new ones. When I called this amazing person named Catherine answered and helped me through the system find me frames!!! She is amazing beyond all belief and the staff are nice as well! So happy I am a patient there!!!

I have been a customer at Accuvision going on 4 years. During that time I’ve had some issues with my glasses (who hasn’t) and each and every time the staff has been fantastic at taking care of me. They are a great, friendly place with a great customer focused attitude. I highly recommend them!

Was made an appointment and told to come in called when I was in the parking lot and was passed around in between people on the phone saying they don’t know who this is they don’t know who that is that I’ve spoken to and lying about each other‘s names then saying that they’re not taking any clients due to covid So they made me schedule an appointment for nothing and we’re very rude over the phone as if they wanted back door business rather than through my insurance. I recommend I AccuVISION Wauconda I know it’s far but it’s worse not wasting your time in the aggravation

I have been going to this location for about two years and have been very satisfied. I was initially impressed by the number of frames and styles they had as at my previous provider I had a hard time finding a pair that was even decent. I also love the care the doctor took with me in finding a contact that would work for me. The contact brand I had been getting for years was discontinued and I had gone through many brands to find one that didn’t irritate my eyes and he took the time to find a brand that suite me and let me try the new one for a few weeks before ordering to ensure I was happy. Great staff and great products!

Dishonest and bad customer service. I chose a frame told the lady assisting me that I needed for it to be picked up since I was moving away. The frame and prescription tardied three months to come in. When my eyeglasses finally came in and they were sent to me they were a totally different frame than the one I chose. Im very disappointed!

Ive been going here for years and they always take good care of me. The staff, especially Kim D., is always patient and exceptionally helpful. Ive had trouble with wearing contacts and the doctors there have worked with me to get just the right comfortable contact lensesRecently, I picked out a new set of frames (in a hurry) that didnt look right on me once they were finished. Kim patiently sat with me and gave me honest advice as I tried on different frames until I found the perfect ones! I love the new glasses and Kim too. The new office location is very nice as well.

Doctors are alright, but the office staff is horrible and they will try stealing from you by double charging for glasses. One charge on your personal card and one charge for the insurance company. The condition of the building should be a red flag for any new or returning customers, specifically the entrance door. People who are used to that kind of quality need to be questioned during any kind of business related transaction.

The doctor actually discovered a very serious medical condition when I came for a routine exam and I am very grateful they caught it. Highly professional and highly recommended

I was early for my appointment but for some reason was still seen some time after my regular appointment time, but things happen. Honestly that is my only complaint. The Dr was super nice & got me taken care of quickly. The girls up front were super nice too & once the eye appointment portion was done I was in & out rather quickly. I been going there for years my kids and husband... I switch ins. And first they told me i didnt have coverage..so i went back and forth with them and insurance..at the end they made me file my own claim. Which my insurance told me they were suppose to file. So i pay $300. Out of pocket. And i got $45. Because i filed. They treated me horrible

Bad service I took my daughters frames to get replaced and they said they only had “blue ones that fit the old lenses “ as if I couldn’t see how cheap the frame was . I wish they would of put more effort and called other accuvisions to fine a better options. Will not be returning .

I have been going to the Gurnee branch for about 5 years or so and started bringing my kids because other Optometrist just kept prescribing incorrect lens to them. Im so beyond pleased with every interaction here. I have had billing issues and Rick has went above and beyond to help resolve. The ladies at the front desk are always very helpful, informative and fun. They even remember my kids names by our faces. The doctors are thorough and always make sure I understand whats going on with my vision to great detail. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with the quality of service from this staff.

Went in looking for glasses and shown my insurance information to 3 different people, all 3 insisted they had never seen my insurance company before and refused to even look it up, wanted me to pay almost $900 for a pair of $250 oakleys and $70 generic frames. Today I go to my insurance company to see if I have any type of coverage and who shows up first on the list? AccuVISION.Thanks for nothing.

Most of the frames are enclosed a glass case.The saleslady asked us if we had insurance and when we replied no, she did not seem interested in selling us glasses today! She never mentioned the discounts available and when we asked if a pair we liked was available in a larger size, she replied that we would be charged $15 for shipping. Seriously?

Worked with Kim, who was very knowledgeable and professional, she picked the perfect frame from a huge selection of glasses for my son. The glasses were done in less than an hour with the perscription at a great price. I would highly reccomend coming here!

We called and got in that afternoon. They were able to accomodate both my son and myself. The team there worked really well together and they were all very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Helms took the time to listen to my concerns and address my vision issues. As a law student, I spend the majority of my time with a nose stuck in casebooks with small text or looking at a board in lecture halls. Dr. Helms conducted tests geared for my lifestyle and provided lens options addressing all scenarios. Each member of the office staff are kind and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated the time they took to explain the different pre-tests and eyewear options available. I never felt like I was being pushed off from one person to another like previous optometrist appointments. Accuvision has a customer for life.

This place is a joke when it comes to the big Mexican lady who helps with glasses and taking money. She is rude and talks indecent about customers in Spanish when there is a problem. Was offered the most expensive anti-glare where she made it seem like this was the only option and when i declined to pay $160 for it because I was already at $192 for READING GLASSES, she failed to mention there were other levels of anti-glare which i need because I work in a doctors office on a computer all day. The man helping with refund was very nice however the old lady with the blonde hair was rude and unprofessional just like the Mexican lady. I am not racist but talking about someone in Spanish is rude. Just because I’m white doesn’t mean I don’t know Spanish so good job there. Will not come back and recommend people go somewhere else. Prices are high for everything. The doctor was nice during the exam I will say that but that was only for 25% of my visit.

Terrible place to book an appointment. The staff and doctor do not treat you the same as they would with a different inaurance other then public aid. I called to get an appt and nothing was available. The times that they take for public insurance is Mon - Fri 10 to 1 30 PM. That is terrible. Kids are in school and us grown ups are working. This business has very long working hours but they do not make exceptions to nobody with public aid insurance. Terrible place.

I feel so blessed to have found accuvison!! I spent a few hours asking questions within a few visits to accuvision when I felt either my glasses recently purchased were not properly made at another chain store or the prescription was not correct. After much research and discussions with Rick I decided to back to my eye dr. Verify the prescription and to the previous vendor to make sure they were made correctly...it turned into a blame game and I decided enough was enough and started over. So glad I did as I felt I was crazy!! The eye exam at accuvision very thorough made sure to ask if I understood my results. Onto picking out frames...lily was very helpful in helping me pick out and suggest good frames, color and shape...and I didnt feel rushed!! She made sure that measurements were accurate as well. Thanks to Ricks knowledge about the lens options I already knew what I wanted ...but the staff is very knowledgeable about the products they have and suggest lenses that fit your lifestyle....overall the whole experience was over and beyond my expectations!! Oh and did I mention their new location?? Very open and frames are nicely displayed great new location!!

Terrible experience absolutely zero customer service. Try to be there ontime or ahead of your appointment, guess what if you are late you will be asked to reschedule for another day. The staff are very very rude. I would never recommend a friend or family member there ever.
