This is the best gym Ive ever been a member of and Im 52 years old. The people who work here are unbelievably friendly and helpful. I love talking to the staff. The members are also very friendly. This is a very inclusive place with authentically caring staff. The exercise machines are easy to use and top of the line.

I signed up for a membership on one of the iPads at the gym and I have been getting double charged for every fee that this company charges. I talked to the front desk about it and they didnt seem to know what to do about a refund so they gave me a phone number. I called the phone number and they said I have to get a refund through the branch I signed up at. I went back to the gym and talked to them again but they still dont seem to be sure if I can be refunded the money they double charged me for and said it could be up to 3 additional weeks before they might know if my request will go through. The gym is a nice facility and the people are friendly but this company has some kind of scam theyre playing. Even the woman I talked to on the phone said that this glitch has been happening a good bit lately. Tread carefully when you sign up. You might get a duplicate account. 🙄🙄🙄

Facilities are great and super clean. Showers water preasure is very weak maybe someone can take a look at that and i can rescore at 5 stars. Thanks

The staff here are very friendly and helpful! The facility is very clean. On the Planet Fitness app there is a meter that tells you how many people are in the facility. They have tons of every kind of workout equipment you can want. They have massage chairs and hydro massage chairs. Also stand up and lie down tanning bed with a hybrid red light machine also. Its a great place to work out! It is very affordable especially considering everything that you get.

This is a great gym to belong to and the new manager Mather is a stand up guy, helped me out moving my membership for me so I didnt have to jump through any hoops. Plenty of workout equipment to go around. The staff is super friendly.

This PF does not have the equipment my home gym does but it pretty nice. The torso twist machine could use some new knee pads but all of the other equipment was in good shape.

Extremely excited about this brand new location!!! Very modern and nice interior finishes. The layout seems fantastic and they have insane amounts of open space around the medicine ball, pull-up, battle ropes area. The bathroom, shower, and locker space looks very modern and the mirrors/lighting look like they’ll be excellent for gym selfies 💪🏼😂! Haha check out those lit bathroom mirrors! I’ve been going to PF for over 7 years now, and I can just tell that this location is going to kill it!

I love my gym membership. Affordable and convenient location. Not the biggest gree weight selection but it gets the job done. Not often a weight for equipment. The most coveted equipment is the assisted barbell machine because there are only 4, but the patrons are considerate.

Definitely a planet fitness with one of the widest range of exercise equipment that Ive seen! Great staff too!

Decent gym. Equipment is good shape, but not a fan of Matrix equipment. Gym is a missing a couple basic amenities. Needs a big clock that can be seen from most places on the floor. Also, does not have a scale! I have never been to a gym that did not have a scale. Even 300 sq ft hotel gyms (yuck) usually have a scale.

I really like this location of Planet Fitness. The equipment is nice and there are a few pieces that aren’t at some of the other area Planet Fitnesses.

Great staff and very nice people. I went with my oldest son because hes starting football so i got the black membership and bring him as a guest. Kinda worked out a little hard got overwhelmed and the staff that was there that night came over and helped me out aswell as a nice guy who was working out at the time. Very good experience with this home gym and makes me think all of them would be great places to workout at aswell.

I just went to this planet Fitness and I love Plante fitness but after the way I was treated today over wearing a mask. I tried to explain that I was exempt due to American with Disability’s act and that I’m a veteran with a medical condition the General Manager Taylor refused to give me her managers contact information and told me I could cancel my membership or she would call the Cops. Well she in fact called the cops and Thank you to Greer PD for standing up for my Rights that are protected they were extremely supportive but I will sadly be canceling my membership and going to Golds Gym where my Rights are not infringed upon and I hope that Taylor doesn’t cost Planet Fitness many more customers

The two morning workers are the BEST! I’m really bad with names I’m sorry but I still needed to brag a little bit! Every time I go into the gym I’m always greeted with the best and friendly attitude! The lady with the ponytail is always so helpful and never rushes me when I need help! She has took phone calls of mine when I would call the gym, she would be super helpful and considerate and answers all my questions, and the young guy with the pretty eyes is always giving his 1000%! I have personally been in the locker rooms and restrooms when he is cleaning and they are always in top shape, one reason why I like to go between 5-8! Only complaint I have and I hate to say it but they are short staffed. (They still work very hard) The afternoon crowd has more then enough help. Maybe get some more help in the morning and you have your self an amazing gym!

The Planet Fitness in Greer has friendly staff and new, up-to-date equipment.

The front desk associate was amazing every time I went in. She was able to answer questions and explain better how some of the equipment worked. I think her name was Rachel. It was right at closing time (9pm) on Sunday night Apr. 25th. I meant to add a comment sooner.

I travel a lot so I use different PF but by far my favorite is Greer. It’s very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Dana signed me up and she makes me feel at home because she always speaks to me when I come in.

A few folks may be whining about wearing a mask but there are an abundance of gyms that don’t care about cleanliness or masks - go there instead. It’s a breath of fresh air to have a gym that actively enforces it and most people are wearing them and actually cleaning their equipment. The space is lovely and I’ve had nothing but friendliness from the staff.

Honestly this gym is pretty solid. The equipment is brand new and the staff are always out cleaning! So equip is always in good shape and I never feel gross touching It. I realize there are a lot of people on here leaving reviews about how bad the staff is on mask enforcement. Let me just say this since I believe the staff have no one to help explain their side of the story. So I’ll explain the many things I have witnessed. They have mask notifications everywhere in the gym and even when you enter. You scan your app in and It even asks if you are wearing your mask. I’ve been coming here since It opened, and believe me I don’t care for the mask policy. However it’s the middle of the pandemic and this is the current state we live in during this time. So I realize the staff is just doing their job. Now I have seen plenty of members rudely walk away from the staff or ignore their polite requests to place It on, even be so bold and disrespectful telling them I’m not wearing it. There are rules, and if rules can’t be followed then you would have to exit that facility. That is anywhere you go. So you put working staff in uncomfortable positions and even positions to get law enforcement involved when you simply refuse to follow rules. People have options to workout at planet OR they can go somewhere else. Not changing the rules for you is not bad customer service. You are just looking for a handout and want to feel special. You’re not. Either where the mask and workout at planet or just don’t workout there at all. It’s that simple. The staff are actually quite amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have a good experience. If you seen someone catch the bad side of the staff or you have your own bad experience. Please evaluate your own behavior because what I have seen from people I feel bad for the staff having to tell people to do something they already know is a rule and people disobey so rudely and feel the need to make the situation nasty. Again YOU DONT HAVE TO WORKOUT HERE AND WEAR YOUR MASK. You are not stuck at planet. If you are there because they have good pricing, then the masks is the sacrifice you have to make. Simple. I hope this helps the staff and people have a better understanding that just because they are in customer service they don’t have to please you And live for you. You realize they are humans who have to do a job and take care of their lively hood just like the rest of us. I hope the mask police lifts soon. But if not, and you continue or choose to workout at this facility just follow the rules and things would be a lot simpler. Stop exploiting staff as this evil crew when some of you members I have seen straight up yell at them for asking a question kindly about your mask. Just follow the rules and they will have nothing to say. And when you do they don’t say anything.As for the black card amenities I do have a request, is there a way to get more tanning at this location. Wait times aren’t to crazy when I go for the most part but there are days when the crowd has It a 20-30 min wait time. I appreciate that the staff lets us workout and comes grabs us whenever we are next to tan. I just would love to see more tanning options especially the red light one. I love that one!

Planet Fitness is a place to train. The gym is well kept and cleaned frequently while I am training. Despite the issues, I have had with other Planet Fitness gyms, the staff here doesnt interfere with my training.

I forgot to put mask on as I walked past the front desk out of the gym and was stopped and told my membership would be cancelled if it happened again. However, the man in front of me walked out without a mask on and nothing was said to him. It is unbelievable a company would choose to lose business because a customer forgets to put their mask on for such a brief moment. I cant imagine your facility will be successful as the staff seems to feel it is their job to terminate memberships over minor mask infractions.

I love this gym and the professionalism of both the GM and assistant manager, Taylor and Genesis, is immaculate. They actually care about others health and I love that they enforce masks in the gym, unlike other gyms. The equipment is brand new and everything is kept in great, clean condition. This is by far my favorite gym in Greenville, SC!

I have been a member of planet fitness for 2 to 3 years and have been to all of them in between North Carolina and Florida. But the new Greer branch has the worst manager in a gym I have ever been to. She is very disrespectful and hateful and harassing to all members. She was even rude to a veteran with a medical condition over a mask. But overall the new Greer branch is the worst planet fitness I have ever been to. I’ve almost canceled my membership several times because of that little girl that’s the manager there.So if you are reading this review please drive them down a little further and go to the Taylor’s branch or drive the other way and go to Spartanburg one. I’ve been to both of those, they are wonderful! Friendly employees

This PF is probably one of the nicest ones Ive been too! It has everything from rowers and 3 types of bikes for cardio to a PF360 section, Abs section and then the 30 min workout area. The Black Card area is super nice with it being set off behind doors from everything else. Highly recommend!! We got 5 days a week M-F and absolutely love this place!

Ive been using PF on and off since they started opening in our area. Greer is my favorite location due to outside factors (location in accordance with my commute etc)) but Ive never had any issues with any location, staff is always great and facilities seem like theyre kept up with as far as cleanliness and maintenance.

Im new to the Greer PF, moving here from NC so far after a few visits Im very happy with this location.

Friendly staff, nice aesthetics, fancy new equipment like the pf360 with ropes, kbs and monkey bars and Trx straps, plus med balls & bands. Place looks generally well kept, as of afternoons when I visit. All in all, great experience. Wish the franchisees @ Spartanburg and Greenville looked this good, with new equipment and fixer uppers. Sad face

The gym is beautiful, the equipment is in perfect condition but unfortunately I have to give a 1-star review, because I love planet fitness but the general manager in that location had an attitude. She tried to be too professional, but came off as greedy and rude. I will continue to come to this gym, but I am dissatisfied with her communication.

One of the employees who’s name is “genesis” came up to talk to me for not having my mask on as I was filling my water bottle. she was so close in my personal space I could smell her dirty breath from under her mask. she was plain rude, condescending. Ive been waiting forever for this location to open up. After just two days there I moved my home gym from the Laurens Rd location to this one. Its absolutely gorgeous and so clean inside. The staff are on point with keeping it clean, masks are worn by folks entering, exiting and in-between machines. You dont have to wear a mask while actively working out so thats extremely nice bc I have asthma and cant while doing cardio or heavy weights. The cardio equipment selection is fantastic! Rowers, 3 types of bikes, elliptical, treadmills, etc. The weight machines are plentiful of course and the Pf360 is a huge hit. The Laurens location doesnt even have that. Love, love, love!

I like this new gym a lot, the location is great and the equipment is new.. however, the general manager who’s name is Taylor, is very rude and unprofessional. She followed me to my treadmill to harass me about wearing a mask, and threatened that if I didn’t comply she would and I quote: “kick me out of her gym”. I didn’t know you had to wear a mask while exercising.. I saw many people walking around without masks. It was a very weird and awkward experience to have the person who is supposed to run the gym act so hostile and unnecessary. She’s not suited to run an establishment.
