The staff were very nice, friendly, helpful, and encouraging. The reception staff was always smiling (under the mask) and helpful. The cafeteria staff also were friendly and the food they prepared was tasty and at a very reasonable price! The nurses were very caring and friendly. Did their best to ensure you were okay and if you needed anything. The therapists were great! Worked you hard but not too hard. Plus they had a great personalities. The custodial staff made sure the facility was nicely cleaned. The techs were also very attentive and friendly. Cant give this facility enough praise! A special shout out to Nikki A, RN, Kathy, Larry, Patty, Melissa. Cant remeber everyones names but they were great! Thanks for helping me to become stronger so I could return home!

The staff were incredibly nice and responsive. They didnt push too hard if you were having an off day. The food is surprisingly good. The rooms and facility were kept very clean and tidy.

My experience in rehab here has been exceptional! The therapists, techs & nurses are so helpful, always ready to assist patients, very kind & work hard at helping me to work hard myself so that I can walk again. When I came in after spine surgery I couldnt stand or walk. The intense therapy has pushed me beyond what I thought was possible! I can now walk with a walker, I go home tomorrow & moving on to out patient therapy so I can eventually walk on my own.The food is really pretty good, better than hospital food.I gave the 4 star rating only because Im disappointed this rehab hospital doesnt have 7- day rehab. I was weak after a weekend of sitting in my room.Overall, this has been a great experience!

My mom discharged from here last week and we could not have been happier. I admit some of the reviews had us concerned, but we prayed on it and we are so happy we chose here - her care and the communication was great. I was glad that my sister could visit mom, and she said everyone was nice and the patients seemed happy. Mom didn’t have an easy road but they were honest with us on her potential and helped us get everything in place. The therapists worked on her goals and what she would need to do at home. I would highly recommend to anyone needing rehab!

Everyone was so friendly with the patients best interest in mind. Highly recommend this place. Food was very good as well.

I wrecked my motorcycle and broke my hand, foot, and tore my kidney. My nurses, techs, therapists, and doctors all listened to my needs and concerns and helped me with my healing process. They kept me positive and were very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Community South Rehab to anyone who needs a place to heal.

I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and rehabilitation program! My mother suffered from a stroke in June 2020. She was transferred to Comm Rehab South and they did a remarkable job getting her up and going again. Later in the year, my father contracted COVID. After a 2 month battle and 3 acute care facility transfers, Dad was transferred to Comm Rehab South for rehabilitation. Dad went from barely being able to lift himself to walking laps around the facility!! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable! I will continue to use them for any and all IP rehab needs.

My sister-in-law was in your facility for about a month recently. We were pleased with both the staff and her care during her rehabilitation. Nurses were always readily available as was the case manager. We do wish that she could have stayed longer! Thanks for all your help!

I had excellent care! PG was the best therapist! People were kind and wanted me to heal and recover. They made me work hard and because of that I had no issues during my recovery. The nursing staff was attentive to my needs and responded quickly to my requests. I have only praise for the staff at Community Rehab Hospital South.

I spent two stays since December 2020 for Pt, OT and Speech. I cannot recommend this group of professionals enough. I am so grateful to everyone who was involved in my care ❤. I was encouraged and praised for the progress, which built my confidence such that I surprised myself. I hope that I dont forget anyone. You are all very much appreciated. WRNING!!!!!’ DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!!!’Please read and make up your own mind based on the undisputed facts I’ve documented below!My mother was sent there after a triple by pass at Franciscan. Humana insurance wouldn’t pay for the good rehab at Franciscan so we had to go to Community Rehab Hospital. The doctors and nurses advised she would need some major assistance do to memory issues. So Amanda the Admin lady said that mom would not only be physically ready but mentally also. I told her I find that hard to believe because to my knowledge there wasn’t a cure for Alzheimer’s or Dementia. We had planned to send her to a skilled nursing facility for 20 days to help get her strength back before coming to live with us. Amanda on a recorded conference call stated”If you are doing that we won’t accept her, she won’t need that when we are done. She will be able to be on her own with home visits.” I said how can you say that when the doctors, nurses and surgeons say something else. You have never even seen her and you are not a doctor.” She insisted that she would not accept her if we were going to have her go from CRH to another skilled nursing facility (nursing home for another 20 days of rehab after she was discharged) The medical and case workers were great but the administration staff and management is a joke. We were lied to, mislead and cheated out of the care my mom deserved. When I called back to ask about the lady who lied to us I was told she didn’t work for them. Later when I found out she did actually work there. She was new and obviously didn’t know what she was doing. Poor training from management allowing a new untrained person to play with the lives of our loved ones. Like a Czar stating facts that aren’t true, but her words and lies affect a patient or patients family. A couple of days later I called and spoke with the CEO. She literally laughed at the situation and showed ZERO compassion or concern. I was told my mother who has cognitive memory issues would be able to go home alone and independent after their rehab. When they discharged her she scored a 12 out of 30 on a cognitive memory test. She couldn’t wipe her self, bathe, get dressed, cook for herself or walk more than 20 steps without needing oxygen or make legal decisions. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! Administration makes up rules based on what way the wind is blowing. PS they also discharged my mother with out Oxygen, they originally said she needed. Three days later we had to take her to the ER because of low oxygen. They said she should have had oxygen at home. Another possible fatal mistake from CRH! This info is based on our experiences. I WOULD NEVER ALLOW A LOVED ONE to go to this facility based on our experiences and lack of compassion from the administration!

There are awesome staff is very good at what they do also they have been very well trained. If anyone needs rehab i would tell them this is the place to go. My husband was there for 3 weeks they got him up n moving after his stroke.

I hate being in hospital but this place everybody was friendly gave privacy when needed case manager was great kali had everything set up when I was discharged from home therapy to ins she had it all worked out therapist were great pushed to get better but respected when it was enough.I would recommend going here.Kristi J.

Medical, nursing & therapy services were great. Case manager was not. She hung on to disability paperwork for several days without notifying the patient or family that the hospital could not complete it. The paperwork clearly indicated a very short timeframe for the due date causing the family to have to scramble & find another medical professional to complete it. Also, she called my 85 year old father & told him to pick up my brother that day because the insurance ran out. She could have called the day before so that he could make arrangements for pick up considering that my father doesnt in Indianapolis or Greenwood. She also told us that she contacted another hospital about outpatient therapy for my brother. That hospital said she did not contact them. Then, she wouldnt return my fathers phone call. I have had positive experiences with the Community Health System in the past (Community North Hospital). This Rehab Hospital (case manager) was not cooperative or helpful.

My friend went there a week ago and was so neglected we dont know if she is gonna be ok . She is in hospital as we speak.

Most of the staff here are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Everyone from the staff in the kitchen to the therapists, to the nurses and techs and even the case managers . This is an incredible facility and I reccommend this facility above all others. I was a pleasure being here and meeting all of you wonderful people. I wish each and every one of you the very best!

I would not recommend this place to anyone! My mother in law is being mistreated and also the staff is rude to her . They won’t allow her to see her loved ones when come to bring things she needs. The staff is rude. The kitchen staff is dirty, food really is terrible. I or someone else in the family bring her food because the food is terrible there. They don’t answer there calls when family members are calling in. Cheryl is rude, michelle is not reliable either. I would recommend clearing out all staff and starting with new people. It’s Unorganized chaos there. The tech almost broke my mother in laws arm because he didn’t pay attention while moving a person from point A to B. This isn’t the only report this place is going to get I am going further then this because something needs done period.People remember do ur research before sending ur loved one here. We our family would recommend going somewhere else. Health Dept. was called as well.

I owe all the Nurses and Physical Therapist as well as the Occupational Therapists and Doctors. And the Techs. They have all been so kind to me as well as my fiance. When I was brought through their door on a gurni I could not raise my arms or legs. And had no idea how I was going to walk again. In just 11 days they have me back to raising my arms and legs again. I have learned how to get around in a wheelchair and with a walker. This place made me feel like they gave me my life backAgain. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is in need of any type of therapy.it is a wonderful place. All my Nurses and Techs went above and beyond their job to make sure everyone was cared for and comfortable. I want to Thank each and everyone of them from the bottom of my heart.

I only gave this place 1 star because it made me. This is BY FAR the worst facility in Indy. My mom paralyzed was left unattended while using the restroom resulting in her falling. And the staff could care less to even investigate who is responsible. They dont bath after deification even when asked. The staff will tell u one lie after another and never follow through! Give you the minimum therapy just to push u out the door and with no guidance what so ever. I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enomy

Toured this rehabilitation hospital it is a very clean and bright environment!! Very impressive state of the art therapy!
