I didnt actually stay at The Delamar, but one of guys I support did. He loved it. But the best part was afterwards we needed the receipt from his stay. He called twice to get it and they said they sent it but he never received it, in junk or primary inbox. I called today and the employee was very kind and apologetic. She verified the information and email, she even added my email. She also stayed on the phone with me for several minutes waiting to see if it came through. When it didnt she made other suggestions to see if we could get it to come through. It wasnt until I realized our server might be blocking their emails from even getting through to our junk folders. I talked to our tech people and indeed their email was gray listed, so it was all on us! I called them back to have them resend now that they werent gray listed, and the previous email came through. Both employees were incredibly kind and willing to help me as best I could (I wish I could remember their names), even though it wasnt the hotels fault! Thanks for such great customer service!

Great bartender and crowd. I’ll remember this place. The young woman from Cos Cob knows how to make a mean Manhattan not to mention her own muddled vodka drink. She helped me out with chips when the kitchen was closed

Nothing drives me crazier than a bar charging too much because the window dressing is kinda nice. Your vibe doesnt make the whiskey taste different. Charging a small premium for premium environs is fine - charging twice what a normal bar charges is exorbitant.

A one night stay on our adventure from Maine to our home in FL has turned us into loyal customers who will stay at your property in our upcoming trip to Traverse City. Well done! Videos and pics online were very beautiful...looked fresh. However, in my humbled opinion, I feel facility could do with some upgrades while still maintaining its old world charm. Balconies and and some interior doors could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Besides that, great location and receptionist were welcoming as they should. I would visit again in the warmer months when the boats are mobile.

Nice location but overall disappointing hotel meant for wedding parties.Came here for a few days out of the city.As with other low reviews :-Loud noises into the early morning and poor quality service.Phil at reception didn’t explain details of hotel (WiFi password etc). Very noisy on second night shouting outside the room with guests and staff —something about a dress and changing sheets.Checked out a day early and Phil didn’t ask why we were leaving.

Our 5 night stay has been truly impressive. It has honestly felt like a home from home. The reception team are all friendly and efficient. We have been greeted every morning by name, and welcomed back every return. We have also been working from the room, and have received prompt printing or scanning assistance. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Covid precautions are also really reassuring. We will return!

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and EV charging spots have routinely been blocked by ICE vehicles and hotel management seems to not care or can not be bothered. I managed to find a way to plug in but it does not appear to be functioning correctly. I would suggest Ev drivers look elsewhere if you need/want a place to charge overnight and save yourself the frustration. I will most likely have to find a supercharger to stop by at for the trip home.

This hotel came as a big surprise to us. We were heading for northern Connecticut yet decided to take a break when we reached Greenwich. We know the specific area where the hotel is located and decided to try lunch at the restaurant. Hours later we reserved a room. One can tell that they are really taking care of the hotel, the staff was responsive and attentive and the customer was listened to it and when a problem arose. The evenings at the hotel were very relaxing and serene. The little harbor was unbelievably cute. Spending the evening at the restaurant was very calming. We will be back soon.

My husband and I stayed here for one night for our anniversary. I had read reviewed before we selected it and I agree with those reviewers who wrote that it is overrated for the price...it definitely is. Whether or not you get a view of the harbor depends on how busy they are, so ask in advance because they book up quickly which I found out when we arrived; our room had a view of the parking lot. Its close to Greenwich Avenue, shops and restaurants so that was a plus, the location, but in terms of amenities they do not have much that would make the stay wow. It served its purpose for us, a room for the night, but we wont be back, not worth the effort for that kind of money ($300 after taxes and fees) :(

Suchh a great place with a breathtaking view. There are alot of places within walking distance which is cool. The staff was so amazing and nice. also the balcony was beautiful. A fun getaway and also the place is very clean. The beds are cozy.

Sadly the worst hotel we have visited, wanted to love this place because of the locations, but the threatening and abusive attitude for the staff made this a terrible stay. We hate to write bad reviews but thought we needed to in this case, hope we can help.

Beautiful location in Greenwich harbor. Well appointed room. In the summer outdoor sitting with views of the harbor. Good food with excellent presentation. Ample service but unacceptable moving of tables and rearranging of chairs and tables in direct view of customers without consideration of the customers still having dinner. High prices should warrant better consideration of the experience.

I stayed in #109 for a night. This room doesnt have views. The room has amenities, ac, room service, iron, everything needed if you have a business appointment next day. I ordered dinner menu through room service which has only one vegetarian entree and a couple of vegetarian appetizer. Expect to order an appetizer and a entree for a meal. The next day breakfast has granola, yogurt, dry fruits, fruits, orange juice, and coffee. It has complementary car service. I used it for a relatively shorter distance. Overall, the stay was satisfying. Didnt use the spa room.

Terrible service. We did not feel welcomed. When We checked in we were not told anything about the hotel even when we emphasized this was our first time being there. Was not given the WiFi code, and for the price it is NOT worth it at all, the rooms are small. The room had 1 single wash cloth. Then we opened the fridge to find old food in there from the previous guest and the fridge was not working so the food smelt sooo bad and spoilt. We had to put up a fight to have our rooms switched to a different room and when we got to the new room we asked for the key for the fridge (they lock the fridge in the rooms for whatever reason) and they never brought it to us. Just terrible, I get better service at the Hilton or Hampton Inn.

We were there with relatives who had a relationship with the owner. My son-in-law talked to the owner and chef came to the table and he ordered for all. I am from LI. I love all that he ordered. Lots of shell fish. All was fresh. All was perfectly cook. Multiple wine and champagne all excellent. Couldnt ask for better. $$$$.

Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, charming property. spa was just what we needed. Lots of little touches like snacks on exec level, courtesy wine and cheese event, boat ride, bicycle rentals, shuttle, valet.

The Hotel is beautiful. The staff is friendly and professional. The spa was great as well. They made space for us even though the spa was booked full. Champagne upon check in was a nice touch. We had a city view room, it was great on the inside. Not much view, but still awesome place to stay. There is a free harbor cruise on the Prudence which was a great tour. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic hotel. I came from Australia and stayed for a week to visit my daughters and the place was perfect. From the size of the rooms, the amenities, to the friendliness of the staff. Could not fault it. Will be back for sure.

Lovely..old world hotel

I had the most amazing time here. Such and clean and friendly environment. Their service was amazing and anything I needed they brought to my room right away. Although the weather was bad, my weekend here turned it to be so memorable. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would be staying in this area.

The room was really great, but a little small. The view of the water was beautiful. The hotel itself is decorared very very well. Looks very elegant. But the experience didnt feel Elegant. While sitting in the gray areas in the lobby the staff was constantly being loud and talking about things that made us uncomfortable. Overall not the best for the money.

This beautifully situated hotel is beyond our budget, but we enjoyed having a delicious drink in the bar. This is an excellent place to peek at the 1% and their hangers-on (a couple of gorgeous, dressed - to - the - nines gals sitting at the bar who were obviously there to find some sugar daddies straight off their yachts) and the wealthy foreign guests that mostly inhabit the hotel. The waiters were very polite and knew how to deal with the affluent. The scenery was wonderful. Altogether, a very entertaining hour.

The Delamar Greenwich Harbor is one of the most attentive and luxurious places to stay in Greenwich. The staff treats you with so much care. The restaurant and bar has both indoor and outdoor seating available. If you choose to have drinks inside they provide a wonderful piano player for your amusement and entertainment. With very close proximity to the stores on Greenwich Avenue and Greenwich Harbor (hence the name of the hotel) I highly recommend people stay there.

Its a nice little hotel with a beautiful interior and rooms to match it. Has great customer service for a small staff and is located right near the water. Is also a short drive from the Greenwich town center full of great dining and shopping.

Attended a networking function on the patio area. The view is terrific and the bar staff is lively, funny and quick. Prices (at least in the bar area when I was) were quite appropriate. Valet service was very professional. If you can be here on a nice summers eve, youre sure to be in for a treat.

My stay was everything I expected and more. Staff was exceptional. They make sure you get a room w/ a balcony that faces the Harbor. Ocean view is the best view.Ben is a great hands on staff. He takes your bags, parks your car and more. He’s a pleasure.

Went to LEscale for Christmas Eve dinner. Fun atmosphere and the restaurant was very busy. The decor was as expected (muted traditional tones) and although service was a little slow, the staff were very friendly. Food was good but nothing really wowed our party. Good experience overall.

We attended a wedding reception on a Saturday evening. The place was stunning top to bottom. The decor was elegant without being over the top, the service was impeccable, and the food was some of the best my husband and I have had. We did not stay there so I cant rate the rooms, but from the lobby and dining room, my guess is the rooms are equally beautiful.

Great space for a fundraising event. Food was great and the dance floor was the perfect size for a large crowd. They also had valet parking.

The restaurant is not the best place for good food or quality service. The hostess had an attitude when I asked if we could sit outside. The sparkling water was flat and had a weird taste. We waited so long for our entree that the waiter forgot he already took our order. He greeted us and gave us menus. Then when the food came it looked dry and was burnt to a crisp. He offered to re-make but that was a mistake. It came back a little burnt and my stomach was bubbling and bloated for the rest of the night. The manager greeted and checked on every table except for ours. It was like we didnt exist. We asked for tea and never got it. It was such a beautiful place that left me unsatisfied. I give it 2 stars just for how nice it looked.

We had an excellent one night stay. The hotel was lovely, the champagne at check in, orchid in the bathroom, snacks and coffee is available al the time. The breakfast included lox and bagels, scones and other pastries. I will stay there again.

This place was a fantastic place to stay which visiting Greenwich. It is close to downtown and right on the water. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. There was hot beverage available 24 hours a day down in the lobby.

I dont like the hotel but there is a Quiet park across from the Delamar with a great view of Greenwich Harbor. Few picnic tables and a clean restroom. Sparsely used except on event days during the summer. The Delamar restaurant is overpriced & and food underwhelming. Tried it twice and found it noisy inside. Outside seating is better on cooler days. We have always found the help to be a bit condescending.

Unbelievably gorgeous hotel on a picturesque marina right on the Atlantic. The concierge Oscar will make you feel like a guest on Fantasy Island, the old TV show.

My husband and I stayed here on the way back to DC from our Maine wedding with our 90 lb mixed lab, Sammy. It was amazing. The room was great, staff were professional, the massage we got was wonderful, and ALL of the staff really was dog friendly (Sammy received plenty of pets and treats). The dog tag they gave Sammy is still giving Sammy enjoyment as he chases the reflections it creates off his collar. Wonderful place and we would stay there again.

Our room was lovely with fabulous sheets and pillows. French doors to the outside allowed us to add fresh air as needed. When we wanted to go shopping they provided us a drive in a new Tesla; very classy. The coffee/tea bar downstairs was handy and the wine and snacks Friday night we enjoyed fireside in the lovely lounge.

One of my favorite places to dine in Greenwich. Has several different seating areas depending on the time of year and occasion. The food is always fresh, precise and delicious. Staff also are always very friendly and always seem to know and remember their guests.

Our favorite weekend escape. My wife and I have been coming to the Delamar for years as a quick and fun way to get out of NYC. Its a few minutes walk from metro north train stop and all the good Greenwich restaurants. Love it

Expected more from this hotel since its supposedly upscale and not inexpensive. The rooms were nice enough, spacious and clean but I personally find the decor gaudy. The beds were surprisingly short and the mattress wasnt comfortable, I woke up on both mornings with an achy back. The hotel has complimentary wine and cheese on Friday and Saturday evenings. The wine tasted watered down, both the red and the white, not sure what was going on there. The staff were nice enough but it was hit and miss whether someone would open the door for you which would be more consistent in most nice hotels. The best part of this hotel is that they will drive you and pick you up within a 3 mile radius in their Tesla. The hotel is also too close to the highway for my liking eventhough it is on the water. Overall, an okay hotel with inconsistent service and in my opinion you could stay somewhere much nicer for the same price or less.

A stuccoed Mediterranean-style luxury hotel along the Greenwich Harbor wharf, easily reached from the train station by foot or I-95 by car. Nice views of the harbor if youre on the west side of the building. Continental breakfast included. Be warned that prices are steep - a quality hotel, but not sure it is a $400/night hotel.

Great location. Spa has simple but excellent services. LEscale is a wonderful restaurant with a vibrant bar and outdoor terrace in the summer.

From the second we arrived the personal attention was unparalleled. It was an incredible weekend, and the staff and management couldnt have done more to improve our experience. Accommodations were lovely, restaurant was perfect, we will certainly return in the future.
