Dr. Beck has to be one of the rudest physicians Ive ever seen. I was pregnant with my 1st child and was having some serious complications early in my pregnancy at around 20-22 weeks. I was back and forth to the emergency room bc of severe pain, which is where my paths crossed with Dr. Beck. I will never forget my experience with her. When she came into my room I explained to her what was going on and how much pain I was in. She pretty much looked at my mom and myself and said Im not sure why you keep coming bc theres nothing we can do. When we asked her what do you do about other women in this situation she pretty much said women with your situation the babies dont make it this far, well way to scare the heck out of me.....The information that I received from my regular OB/GYN, her colleague, was very different and he along with the MFM specialist helped get my baby as close to term as well as make me comfortable with no pain. When I asked to speak to a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist she sent in a resident who knew nothing, as if to shut me up. Needless to say I carried my baby to 33 weeks and she is happy and healthy. The point is she needs to learn a little compassion and beside manner. As a Healthcare worker myself, I would never make my patients feel as though they are being a burden bc they are scared, in pain and wanting help.

I love Dr Beck! I can’t believe the negative reviews here. I’ve been with Piedmont OB x2 now for both my pregnancies. All the doctors here are awesome and so friendly but I especially rank Dr Beck as one of my favorites.

Im shocked by the awful reviews of Dr. Beck. I found this lady to be very caring. She most certainly has always listened to my rambling. When she walks into the office its as if she just reviewed my file bc she always asks about me and my boys. Shes very gentle during my exam and makes me feel comfortable. I recommend her to everyone.

Giving Dr. Beck as well as the entire staff at Piedmont OB a rating of one star not because they deserve it but because it’s the lowest rating I can give them. Dr. Beck is the rudest most unprofessional doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. She was rude through my pregnancy and in the hospital after we had our oldest daughter. Piedmont OB due to their negligence almost killed me. DO NOT GO HERE. During my pregnancy I experienced rude pushy doctors and nurses, wait times for a simple appointment of up to 2 hours! If you value your prenatal care or birth experience do yourself a favor and find a different doctor or midwife.

Dr. Beck, not all of Piedmont ObGyn, is an unprofessional, rude, harsh physician with horrible bedside manner. She doesn’t listen to what I express and telling her anything makes me fear being talked down to or looked at like I’m stupid and or crazy. She made me feel mentally unstable and overdramatic for believing I had endometriosis after experiencing extreme pain and horrible Periods for a long time, she brushed me off and shoved me off to other doctors. All of those doctors sent me back to her saying the same thing, that it was I fact a gynecological problem. Low and beyhold I indeed have endometriosis. No apologies were ever made and recovery was just as bad as the process of getting help for the problem in the first place. Dr. Beck may be a good “doctor” according to the books but she is not good at being a decent human being at the same time. No sense of compassion or empathy at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE OB or GYN patients. *Especially for patients who also have any sort of mental health disorders* she likes to use those against you.

Dr Beck is currently my gynecologist and I couldn’t be happier. She’s thorough, never rushes & answers all my questions.
