I am currently a patient at the Greenville Bariatric Clinic. I have really enjoyed learning more about food choices and keeping a healthy lifestyle. I have maintained keeping off the 35 pounds that I had gained after going though a tough time loosing my mother. The staff and doctors have been absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone needing a little kick start to a new and improved YOU! You will not be disappointed!

I went to the bariatric clinic to receive a lipotropic injection because the company’s website says that they now offer them. When I told the young lady at check-in that I wanted the shot, she said that I had to be a regular patient in order to get it. When I informed her that their website said that non-regular patients can get the shot for $20, she said that wasn’t correct and that if that’s what the website said, then she was going to change that information on the company’s website. If she’s the person who has the ability to change the company’s website, then she should’ve already known what it said. I was turned away from getting the shot because I’m not a regular patient, so I will find a facility that actually knows what they offer and who they offer it to.

I took time off for work to go sign up and was extremely excited only to be turned away because my blood pressure was high. I was never informed in an email or when I spoke to someone on the phne that my blood pressure needs to be at 140 or lower. I am on blood pressure meds with my doctor. It always spikes when I see my doctor then after 15 minutes it goes down. Its done that for we even when I was thin. If I was told I wouldnt have taken the time off from work and wasted my time. That needs to be posted on their website or told on the phone . So I wont waste my time again on this business.The other thing if my doctor is monitoring me then what is the problem. So when you cry out for help and no one wants to help you then what.

This doctors office does not give clear information to the patients if I could give them a lower review I would however right now they only allow you to give a one star rating. If for some reason my mother has more complications than she already has at this point in time I will be reporting the nutritionist and the other dietician that she saw to day to the medical board. If you have older parents or any relative using this facility your best option is to find another facility .They are so unprofessional and they look at the patients as if they are ignorant when the patient asks questions. This is what the starters office is supposed to do answer the patients questions intend to the patient after the patient has had bypass surgeries and stuff of that nature however they do not.At this point in time I have also seeked information from the medical board or how many complaints this facility has had Im in the process of getting them that way if legal proceedings are necessary I will have the information necessary. If you care about your loved ones and their health do not go to this facility there are other gastric bypass facilities in the area and the bariatric clinic is not the only one.

The staff who work here are great! I started going here about 5 months ago in the hopes of losing a little weight so that I could get back down to a healthy weight for my height. Im 54 and when I started here I weighed 175 lbs. After 5 months I am down to 135lbs and couldnt be happier with my journey! I would still like to lose about 5 or 10 pounds, but its that last little bit that seems to be the hardest. I have went from a size 10 to a size 4 and couldnt have done it without them. I tried dieting for years on my own with no results. Having their guidance and knowledge when I had questions has made all the difference. Going to my monthly visits helps also, because you know that someone else is monitoring what you are doing and that in itself makes you want to do better. I will say this though, you have to do your part... its a partnership! You have to be aware of the calories and sugar you are eating/drinking and keep up with them everyday. You have to exercise (it doesnt have to be a lot). I have changed my diet and lifestyle and feel so much better now. If you have a little or a lot of weight to lose, go see these guys! If you are truly ready to change your eating habits and lose weight they will help you get there! Thank you!

This is a really good place and the people are really friendly. We have been seeing lots of progress with a family member who has started going to this clinic. There’s just one small thing that bothers me, everything is perfect with the nurses inside and the doctor, but when they send us to go get our prescription filled we go to the small pharmacy that they have next door and the lady there doesn’t seem too friendly. She always just throws us our change on the counter and the same happens with the prescription. I don’t know if it may be just something personal or what, but I honestly haven’t seen her treat anyone else like this. You should really do something about this because we’re really considering going somewhere else.

This was my first time coming to a bariatric clinic.The ladies are so kind, professional just amazing.The young lady that took my blood was great she knew what she was doing and explained to me every step of the way what would happen! If you are considering this place, stop just thinking about it and pick up the phone and make yourself an appointment!The staff is so friendly, and encouraging. I always feel welcomed and taken care off. We have been coming here for a few months and have never once had a bad experience.Losing weight can be very overwhelming and difficult and The Bariatric Clinic made it doable. Currently down 70lbs! I have struggled with losing weight for at least 15 years. The Bariatric clinic is helping me to meet my goals, one day at a time. Since Sept 2018, I have lost a total of 32 lbs, and so far I haven’t gained any. I’ve been eating smaller sized, more kid sized meals, and small snacks to get by throughout the day. Drinking water first before anything else has helped me, and even drinking water in the shower! I definitely would recommend this clinic! They provide you a meal plan to go by, and medication to curb your appetite!! Thanks so much for all that you’ve done to help me continue to keep the weight off!! 😊

I began my weight loss journey in April 2018 at 279 pounds. I had decided I was going to make a lifestyle change and the Bariatric clinic has helped me so much! I love the staff here, they are always so friendly. Its an excellent program I have lost almost 50 pounds in 4 months and am still loosing. I defiantly recommend giving it a try if you want to finally loose that extra weight.

The physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff are wonderful. They are always willing to answer any questions I may have and encourage me on months I dont meet my own personal goals. The staff makes a genuine effort to get to know each patient. Ive also started using the HCG, to help with losing inches in my midsection,and have had great success! I called around to several clinics before scheduling my appointment and found that this clinic was less costly than other local clinics. Wait times tend to be longer on Fridays but the quality of care I receive makes up for any wait time. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking to lose the extra weight!

The professionals at the Greenville location are amazing! The staff always have smiling faces that make the office visit so comfortable. I started my life style change weighing in at a whopping 312 pounds and with the assistance and advice of the medical professionals I have lost a total of 34 pounds in just a 4 months. I personally have a ways to go but with their help I know I will achieve my goals.

If you need to lose weight, this is the place to go. I have seen two different doctors since I started at the clinic and both of them were very kind, encouraging and professional. I have been coming here off & on since 2010 and everyone is extremely nice! The nurses & doctors take their time with you and answer any questions without rushing you like most places do now days! The Wait time is not long( which is nice)! Im usually in and out within 30 minutes! The office visit isnt high nor are the meds at the corner drug store! I highly recommend this place!

The Bariatric Clinic is the best option to help you lose weight and maintain. I first went there in May of 2011 and lost over 60 lbs within 8 months. I tried all types of diets for many years and still so pleased with the results. I went from a size 16 to a size 6 and currently maintaining the same clothing size six years later. I still go to the Bariatric 6-7 times per year to keep myself on the right track and it’s just a pleasure every time I visit there. The staff are very professional, encouraging and friendly! You work with knowledgable, caring doctors and medical staff who monitor your progress. So it’s a very safe program that protects your overall health. I have recommended several friends to the Bariatric and I wouldnt suggest any other program to lose weight. I highly recommend to whoever is reading this review and has struggled with weight loss to make an appointment today!

Well I usually dont have an issue here but today really has me irritated.My appointment was at 10, and here at 11:15 I still havent been seen. I finally went to check at 11 and they said he was behind. I said I knew someone that got in after me went before me and she told me it was because they just get the shots. But she still saw the doctor and got a prescription and thats all Im here to do.On last Thursday when I called, I asked her when could I get it where it wasnt busy since Id be on lunch break. She said Friday was busy but Monday should be ok. Its ridiculous that someone has to sit in a lobby an hour and a half past their appointment time. Absolutely inconsiderate and had I not gone and asked, they would not have said anything.Unfortunately, the only other alternative to get this medicine is a bunch of redneck women who make racial slurs in the office.

I put on 15 pounds last year. I tried exercise and cutting back on sugar, but I couldnt control my cravings. The doctor helped me create a plan to get back on track and Im well on my way! Thank you!

I tried to become a patient but the woman that owns the clinic is pretty hateful and rude. I had salty foods it temporarily spiked my blood pressure never had an issue. She told me I would have to get clearance from my Dr. Im in my twenties very healthy just had a few pounds to lose. I told her the request was absurd and she seemed uncaring. I think she was making an excuse not to see me. On the way out the door slammed and she yelled dont slam my door! What kind of business owner yells at their customers? She seemed old tired and miserable and she will never get my money

Just started so I cant speak on the shots but the staff is friendly they just rush you out of there too fast. Everything is in a hurry and they are trying to rush me even though im trying to tell them about my weird side effects so I dont know maybe it will get better.

Well.. Well.. What can I say?.....Nothing good about this place. Ive only been to this place twice before. So Im fairly new, to the procedures and the way they conduct their business. But besides the long wait times and mediocre service. I thought I could overlook that, But when you start writing wrong prescription. That is when HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!! My last appointment which was April 1, 2015 I went in and discussed that the medication that they had prescribed was not working. The doctor or whatever her title is assured me OK Mrs,Belcher we will change your medicine to a different medicine. So ok cool I was willing to try a different medicine. Not knowing at the time that she wrote me the prescription. For the same medicine that I had told her that didnt work for me prior. So when I left and got home I look at the medicine and automatically saw that she had written me the same prescription. So I immediately called back up to the office and explained my frustrations with the clerk. But only to be told that they could not change the prescription until the following Monday. Why they couldnt just write another prescription and get it over with. I guess we will never know. So today I went up to the office to do a medication change. And to bring the unused medicine back. So they could destroy it, their words not mine. I had to set in there for quite some time and then only to be told that they could not swap out the medicine that I paid $31.00 US dollars for. I would have to pay again for the different medication. So Im going to put this all into one nutshell. This doctor or whatever her title is wrote the wrong prescription, I pay for it , I didnt use the medication, I put your clinic on notice that it was the wrong prescription, I return the medication intact, And your clinic is still wanting me to pay for a new prescription. This is highway robbery and when I asked if they could credit the amount of what I paid for the wrong medication. For the new medication the doctor on staff became very belligerent. Until it became and all out shouting match in the office. I would advise anyone who is seeking to lose weight or who has issue with body image to do your research before choosing this facility. These people who work here are very incompetent and lackluster when it comes to pleasing their clients (NO BEDSIDE MANNER)!!. I dont think it was to much to ask to credit the money that I had already paid for the wrong prescription. It is not my fault if who they have there as a doctor.Doesnt know the difference between not working to it is working . CONSUMER BEWARE!!!

These reviews are crazy.....if you eat right, exercise and follow what they say you will lose weight. It so bothers me when people say they cant lose weight. Get up off the coach and do something about it. I used the Bariatric clinic to lose 20 lbs...lost 30 and I have kept it off two years. I still eat brownies and cake once in a while but I learned to eat right and take care of myself. It is NOT a clinics fault you are over weight...you were before you went there..if this program does not work for you...you are the problem.

I had an appointment scheduled for my month follow up as they ONLY write scripts month at a time........ I showed up and they were closed for business.... And NOT ONE person called to inform me as a patient. In my business training, that is the worst customer service one could give ESPECIALLY when we as a client are spending quite a bit of money at their establishment.

In comparison with other Bariatric Clinics offering the HCG, this clinic is economically priced to fit your budget. The staff is very friendly and makes your weight-loss experience more comfortable. My main concern was having the option to receive the HCG in the office instead of taking the prepared shots home with me to administer on my own. They give you the option to come on a weekly basis to have a trained medical professional administer the HCG shot. I previously called 5 other Bariatric clinics, which were much more in cost, to see if they provided this option and they do not. The appetite suppressant prescriptions are a bit more costly at their pharmacy than at your local CVS, so I would get the prescriptions filled elsewhere. Though you pay money for assistance to lose weight, dont let your money go down the drain. If you apply yourself, eat right and follow the diet regimen given by the bariatric clinic, you will be successful and maintain a good weight. Good luck!

One of the only reasons that i keep going back here is because i dont want to have to pay a new guest fee, plus the cost of lab work, somewhere else. Everytime i go there whether i get to my appointment right on time, or 15 mins early, i have ALWAYS had to wait at least an hour and 30 mins to acutally be seen. I actually went today and my appointment was at 11:15 I got there at 11:00 and was seen at 12:40 somethng...then once i get back there the assistant weighs me, gives me a b12 shot and i wait about 5 minutes and the doctor comes in. She asks me how am i, do i like the medcine im on and lastly, do i need anything else? The whole visit itself takes all of about 15 mins.....so why do they run soooooooo behind? and then my last complaint is this, i get prescribed adipex, and if i get it filled at the pharmacy tht they have there at the bariatric clinic its almost $40, but if i take it to CVS it is $18.99. Ok, my rant is over. Thanks

This program works if you do the program. Exercise, drink plenty of water and most importantly eat right.
