My first visit with Joe Stiles PA was impressive. I felt like he was attentive in his questioning. He was very thorough during the exam. I was well pleased. I will be happy to see him again, if the need arises.

Dr Patterson is a compassionate and wonderful doctor who cares about his patients. I am really glad I can call him my doctor. He explains everything so I can understand.

CONA is an extremely efficient practice, but they dont make you feel like youre just a account number. If you have any questions, just ask. They will definitely put any concerns to rest or answer any questions regarding your treatment. I wouldnt hesitate for 2 seconds if I needed surgery or treatment in the future. Yes, its a 92 mile round trip for me to go to their practice on Roper Mountain Road Extension, but its worth every bit of the trip.PAC Joel Stiles and Dr. Shields are extremely knowledgeable, extremely good at what they do, but they dont rush you through the process.Have a question?.....ask. Still arent quite comfortable with the question?....run it by them again. They are an excellent team and their nurses and office crew are always helpful..

On September 17th I had a cervical fusion C-4-C6, by Dr. Christie Mina. She and her staff have been so responsive and helpful. Never rushed, always time to answer your questions and help. Thank you for your excellent care and I appreciate that I am healing so well, because of your expertise. Do you need a spine Dr.? Dr. Mina and her associates are the best!

Argumentative staff, no one listens to anything you have to say, staff talks over you, then when you are asked if you want to speak to the manager, you get some one that doesn’t even say who he is, that is rude. I understand taking up for your staff, but you need to listen to the patients & the entirety of it all before you jump on the patient. If something is needed for an appointment then it needs to be told to the patient beforehand not when the patient arrives then proceed to argue with the patient because the patient doesn’t have the information that you want. Then when the patient asks if you can get the information from your system another argument. I was told that I would not be charged & I was. And since your staff was so kind to inform me that your manager didn’t take care of this, I will see to it that I find out who will.

Outstanding results. Went in for a second opinion, since previous diagnosis and therapy did not make sense or produce improvements, and Dr. Barcel accurately identified what the issue was, provided detailed explanations, answered all questions (and there were many!), then prescribed therapy which started producing results right away! Great job!

This was my first visit. I struggle when it comes to seeing a new doctor. My anxiety amps up because I don’t know what to expect. Not all medical visits are good experiences. This was over the top, nice. Everyone was so darn nice and gentle in their approach. PA (doc) Stiles is someone that you will want to become your doctor. After seeing him, I don’t need another doctor. He is it, for me. He is kind, comfortable, comforting, gentle , very thorough and knowledgeable. That, to me, is the value of gold.

Dr. Barcel is such a good doctor! He and and his nurse are so nice and patient. They listened to me and addressed all of the issues I had questions about. I am happy to know that my foot and ankle are in good hands. He is definitely making a difficult situation for me more tolerable. So far my experiences with Dr. Lim and his staff has been positive. I truly respect the conservative approach Dr. Lim and his staff are taking while dealing with my injury. I dont want anyone poking around in my back if I can avoid it. They have been very attentive and understanding about my medical issue. It may take a while from your expected appointment time to see them, but its been worth. Ive had good experiences with all of the nurses and staff at both locations. .

Dr Schiff’s pain reduction procedure for my knees have been life changing. Thanks to Dr Schiff and team I was able to walk comfortably 10,000 - 20,000 steps / day for several weeks on my recent trip … including up and down 300-450 stair steps in various cathedrals.

Really poor experience. Requested an appointment on Sept 14th. After several additional requests and about 3 weeks later, still no reply.

This was my first appointment and I was extremely pleased with the experience. Dr. Gersavitch was knowledgeable, responsive and listened kindly. I am new to Greenville and am relieved to have found this medical facility and to be a patient of Dr Gersavitch. Have been going here two years and they have not yet found the problem. I will say they have somewhat tried, but seem to lack the knowledge of diagnosis or referral when they are in over their heads. They seem to be stumped if its not a herniated disc.

Drs are ok but but after all this is a Drs office.

I’m really impressed with the knowledge and efficiency of the doctors and medical staff at CONA. I went in intense lower back pain and within a couple of visits my back feels really good and most of the pain has been alleviated.

Dr christi. M She did an amazing job taking care of me! I have a brain disorder, that has no cure for, only surgery. In 2019 I had my first major brain surgery, But it didnt help me, so thank God I found this this amazing group! The hole staff is amazing her co-workers are god sent! So she explained everything to me my last dr didnt, so she said a second brain surgery was needed, she did an amazing job and taking care of me while I was in the ICU! The surgeons made sure that the nurses took care of me. They did amazing on my brain surgery! Unfortunately my symptoms are returning and yes she is my first pick! I would recommend this group to everyone!!

Excellent experience with everyone I have come into contact with. Dr. Gerscovich is the BEST orthopedic (knee replacement) doctor that did my left knee replacement in 2020. His procedure and bedside manner is above every other ortho doctor I’ve seen and I saw several under the Prisma banner.

Treatment was painless for someone not wanting back injections.Dr. Schiff made me feel comfortable and I was sorry I didn’t get it done earlier.I should have gotten it done but fear kept me from doing it and only made me suffer longer. Dr Gao was extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring. It was obvious that he both enjoys his work and has respect for his patients as he spent time making sure I understood my options and treatment plan. I would recommend Dr Gao to family and friends. Also it’s important to note his nurse and office staff are also caring and outstanding at their job. They also spoke highly of himand appeared to enjoy their work environment , which says a lot for this office. Its a pleasant place to go even when you’re walking in the building with issues. I’ve now seen 2 staff members and am about to look into another one for some other medical issues. Its great to have confidence in this practice.

My initial appointment with Dr. D. Shieldswas definately a positive experience. He has a genuine, caring manner. Which to ANY patient is very important. I felt that he was REALLY listening to what I was saying about my pain & concerns do to my back and leg issues. Dr. Shields not only listened to what I was saying but he also took his time to walk me through educating me on what exactly was causing the pain. The options as to resolving this debilitating pain was most appreciated when hed discussed them with me. I would highly recommend Dr. Shields.

Unlike most of the offices I have been to, this place worked in a timely manner, and made me feel like they actually wanted Me as a patient and wanted to get the healing process started.I’m currently in the middle of their care, but judging by the way things have went so far I feel confident thing will go well. Very unprofessional, and lazy. You have to stay on them about every little detail or else everything is going to get screwed up. Also I totally think the doctors are all about the money and that means thier loyalties lie with the insurance company over the actual patients. 😡

Dr Schiff was a very professional and empathic to my condition. He asked several questions, and seemed genuinely concerned about everything. He then went on to explain, so I could understand, his plan for me to deal with the pain I was having. His nurses were also very nice, and the ladies in the front desk were cheerful and helpful.

Recently moved to Laurens from Greensboro, NC. I fell hard into the rocky gravel and onto my left hip; no one else was home. After i gained my composure and figured out how to get up, i made my way indoors & to my phone. Carolina Orthopedic was my second call. Their website drew me in; user friendly & informative with plenty of great reviews. I was so surprised that i could simply walk in! Their hours are convenient enough. My husband drove me there as i was sure I had broken my hip. The pain was excruciating! I saw PA Wes, within a short wait time. Everyone was very nice and efficient & the facility was clean. 2 xrays later, Wes told me & showed me that, i didnt break my hip but more likely bruised my bone & tore a muscle. He was very attentive and sympathetic. He gave me a short term prescription for pain medication. Im to return for a follow up next week.

Such a great experience here! I felt really comfortable and listened to by Dr. Shields and Joel. They each were knowledgeable and helped me understand better what I had going on, the options available to me and next steps. Dr. Schiff was very communicable and easy to talk to. As a pain management doctor, he knew exactly what I needed for my back pain as far as medication and then my injection.

I have been a surgical patient for several surgeries with Dr Christie for various disc problems. This was the first time I had surgery since she joined Spartanburg health network. She is still very competent and would recommend her ( in fact have) to friends dealing with back problems.She still has a very great bedside manner and her expertise is phenomenal !

Dr Christie Mina is a one fabulous doctor. She made me feel comfortable throughout the process before, during and after my surgery. When we discussed surgery, she open and honest about the possible outcomes and what would be happening after surgery. We knew going into surgery it may not be a success but it was a HUGE success!! All the issues I had been dealing with for years, are now gone because she choose to give me the option of surgery. I will forever be grateful for her and her staff. What makes it even better is that she told me that where I am at in recovery, she sees in a person who is a year to a year and half out from surgery. I’m 6 months out from surgery. Thank you so much Dr. Mina for everything!!! One of the best doctors!!!

I made the Appt with Dr Mina but ended up seeing a physician’s assistant. I had heard such great things about Dr. Mina but nobody told me my appt would not be with her. The physicians assistant quickly told me nothing could be done and referred me to pain management. I was close to tears. Very disappointed after waiting in the room for over an hour.

I’m very pleased with my experience with Dr. Christie Mina. I had already been told by my primary health care doctor that she was probably one of the bestSurgeons around. In my case she suggested that I try an injection first. Dr Keith Schiff with the same Carolina Orthopaedic & Neurosurgical Associates was very good & after two days most of my Sciatica pain is gone. I hope I can say that for a long time. To put this in nut shell, I have no complaints & only praise with my experience.

I fractured my thumb in a freak accident (badly) and was able to be seen as a walk-in at CONA. I was attended to by William Irvin, PA and nurse Stephanie. Both of whom were awesome and attentive. They answered all my questions and wrapped my thumb up well. It’s awesome that CONA has a urgent care aspect to their clinic. It’s much better than sitting in ER for hours. Everyone was great at CONA from check-in to the front desk. Go here for your ortho needs.

I met Dr Schiff 2 years ago. I walked unsteadily with a cane and was in terrible pain all the time. I really thought my next step was a nursing home. Dr Schiff immediately started coming up with a plan and hope for me. He treats every individual with a personalized plan of treatment. Fast forward to today, I walk standing up straight, without the cane and with my dog. I go to lunch on my own with friends, I drive myself wherever I go. I have a stimulator in my back that monitors what I need to be active and a whole team of support people with Carolina Orthopaedic. I still see Dr Schiff for tweaks here and there and I have my LIFE back. I praise God for directing me too this wonderful doctor and Carolina Orthopaedic!!!!!! And I’d say this in court.....

I would highly recommend Dr. Mina at Carolina Orthopedic& Neurosurgical. I suffered for years with a collapsed disk between L5-S1. After my operation, I have been pain free. I was apprehensive of having the procedure because 20 years earlier I had less invasive surgery with an outcome that did little to ease my pain. I know that if Dr. Mina had been my doctor back then, she would have recommended the procedure I needed to correct the problem.

First time patient. Very welcoming front desk. Very friendly nursing staff. Dr. Patterson exceeded expectations. I went in nervous and I walked out a very reassured. Dr Patterson was very knowledgeable and went over everything in depth. Dr Patterson even made getting a shot calming 🤷‍♀️😳 Thank you!

I visited the urgent care and received excellent care and customer service. It was not until the follow up appointment that I was disappointed. I got to my follow up appointment and was told it was canceled because they found out my insurance was not in-network, I was then told that I should proceed to the radiology facility for the next appointment that I had. I go to this facility and they let me know that my appointment was canceled by CONA. This left me very frustrated as I had just left the office and was assured that I would be able to receive a much needed service. I was then told by the radiology facility to reach back out to CONA. I reached out to CONA and got the voicemail. I have yet to receive a call back. The lack of communication led to me wasting a lot of time, energy (I am on crutches), and gas.

I’m 57 years old, had many surgeries.... this off the first time that a surgeon has called to check on me, the day after surgery... I’m impressed by their professional work ethic

Dr. Mina is an outstanding surgeon. My husband ruptured a disk and was in severe pain with limited mobility. Dr. Mina advised that surgery should be done as soon as possible to prevent additional damage to the nerves. She shows a genuine interest in her patients along with her staff. In our opinion, she is the best surgeon for back issues around. Thank goodness we were referred to her. She is amazing!!!!

I read a review that stated Dr Mena had no bedside manner and she was brief with the patient... I found this to be completely opposite of my recent appointment. The nurse practitioner Matthew Estelle, and Dr Mena spent an ample amount of time with me to confirm that I understood the situation and treatment going forward.

I was pleased with the experience I had at CONA. I was very anxious regarding my 4 bulging disc and bone spur in my neck and worried that I would be directed towards surgery as the first option. Dr. Mina’s NP, Matthew, had a great bedside manner, was very knowledgeable regarding his evaluation of what I was experiencing, and very thorough to explore different issues I may be dealing with. After discussing it with the surgeon, Dr. Mina, he had me consult with her on what they had both determined from their evaluation of my MRI and symptoms. The recommendation of starting with a Cortisone injection in my neck and a nerve test to determine if I have nerve damage was a relief rather than surgery as a first option. I would strongly recommend Dr. Mina and her NP, Matthew, if you are experiencing spinal issues that require a surgeon’s opinion. I have also spoke with many individuals who have had Dr. Mina perform successful surgeries on them, which gives me comfort. Unfortunately, surgery may be needed since the Cortisone shot hasn’t given me relief as we had hoped.
