Josh is very knowledgeable with anatomy. He helped me work through a hamstring/glute injury. He was able to explain the injury and the affected areas to me. He even recommended strategies to help me prevent further injury. Good amount of pressure. I feel much better after getting a massage here!

My wife and I started going to Joshua for therapeutic massage after having a staff member in our dentists office recommend him. We have both had massage therapy with a number of therapists, mostly with good results. But we have never had a massage therapist with the level of knowledge that Joshua has. He carefully analyzes physical issues and problems we have and tailors treatment with the goal of changing whatever is the source of the problem, not just achieving momentary relief. He successfully treated a problem my wife has had with posture for many years that no other therapist has been able to help. He has now moved from his downtown location to a nice, airy, sunny location on Haywood that we really like. We highly recommend him.

I had a really great experience with Josh. The setting was cozy, great music, very comfortable. The treatment itself was personalized and incredibly healing. I needed some serious help with my back and shoulders, and Josh fixed me right up. He listened carefully, checked in every now and then and otherwise let me relax and sink into the massage. Highly recommended. Josh is my Go-To massage therapist. Hes attentive, observant, and thorough. He adjusts his pressure to your needs and offers a wide range of duration options. No massage is the same, but they are all progressively better. Hes also active in the local yoga community so you may be lucky enough to experience his talented touch during a workshop or specialty class. His versatility is impressive and refreshing. Oh and the music, totally zenned out!

Joshs massage was a nice change from the usual experience. Josh found the tightness and issues affecting my riding and worked through them selectively.To find a therapist that doesnt massage the two sides of my body in the same way was great. Josh knew what he was doing and left me feeling good on the bike in the following days.

Before I met Josh I was prescribed a MRI along with intensive physical therapy for my hip flexor. While I thought this diagnosis was a bit much I decided to have a second opinion. After meeting with Josh I quickly discerned he was the right person to help me heal. Only after two message sessions I began feeling much better as my muscles relaxed allowing my soft tissue to heal. Josh has an intuitive touch and nature that allows him to quickly assess a practical and beneficial therapy wellness care plan.
