I am currently enrolled here and I am loving it! The class involves a lot of hands on time which I enjoy because we will be better prepared when we graduate. Curt and Cindy are very helpful and do a great job at teaching massage/anatomy in a way that makes it easier to absorb and retain. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone wanting to invest in becoming a massage therapist!

A great place to go for a less expensive massage. I just cant afford places like Massage Envy. So when I am in need of a massage my place to go is Carolinas. You can get a professional massage there but I think the graduating students do fine and are every bit as attentive to your needs as the professional massage places. Try them, you will like them.

I am a student here and really loving my classes so far. Every one is very respectful and supportive and the teachers really take time to try and help you understand everything. Our class has a great environment and we have fun learning together!

Loved my experience. Cozy environment and ambiance including lemon infused water. The decor in the room is pleasant and had a Himalayan salt glow light.I had such a great massage compared to expensive places which usually only do light strokes that leave me unfulfilled. I never imagined the school would have exceeded my expectations! My deep tissue was truly awesome!! Being physically active with tight muscles, and also working at a computer over a decade I needed more than a light relaxing surface “tickle” and thankfully I landed with Vazilia’s deep precision! She thoroughly targeted all areas and left my whole body relieved. She is a treasure with talented skills! Without question I will be back! Wow

I decided to take this program instead of others because of the time the program takes and the cost. Plus, I was enrolling myself and my son as we were taking it together. What I found here was a great exchange of value added compared to cost. I learned so much here and now, my son and I are ready to start a new career! Im so excited for this next chapter and I am so happy to have found such a great place to get it started.

My experience with Carolina Massage School has been very interesting. I was initially told that classes were online and discovered that was not the case on the week prior to classes starting. I was given the option to go online soon after but I am extremely happy that I did not take that route. I highly recommend everyone to steer away from online school as it does not test you as a student, no hands on, no additional explanation, and no worksheets. As a student, you are required to read the book and teach yourself and will have the opportunity to ask questions once a week over zoom. If you miss the time frame, well you’re just out of luck! Mei, the owner, is all about the money. She kept our tips-suggesting that they were for the supplies we use and the name tag, end of school party, and can’t pay us according to the massage board. She was never consistent with her story, it always kept changing whether it be for all the modalities that we were promised to be shown, client massages needed to graduate, or what the tips/ tuition cover. At one point a sign was up mentioning tips go towards student tuition which was not the case. Mei refused to purchase ink for other printers and limited the teachers from their printing for the students to have follow along notes. Mei, also scheduled several massages for individuals (3+) and try to reel all the money in that she can. I have personally witnessed Mei pull online students (join for questions/concerns/knowledge) out of my class to perform massages that she committed to but later changed her mind as well as clients getting a massage from students worth $40, but the school would use the clients coupons purchased for licensed massage therapy towards the student massage which are worth $60. Mei micromanages students and teachers. She does not care for students nor teachers concerns and is very passive aggressive when it comes to communication. Also, there was some back and forth with the available rooms. There were 7 students in my class and Mei would book massages and when we needed to practice we did not have enough rooms because some rooms were occupied and Marcia room was off limits. Mr. Curt (Anatomy teacher) was amazing. He knows his material and makes the class very enjoyable. He really does go out of his way to ensure his students are following and makes the class interactive. He does a lot to support his students. Mrs. Cindy (Massage therapy teacher) is genuine and a very sweet person. She wants to help as much as she can but with Mei micromanaging it makes it difficult on her. She received the textbook a week before classes started and never hand enough time to go through the books and prep the material for us. She is a great massage therapist and if given enough time I believe she would be able to be more organized with her worksheets, tests, and class. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Make better use of your money!

I just received an excellent massage from Marcia, who is a very talented licensed massage therapist! Marcia loves her clients and listens to what their needs or areas of concern are. After a year of teaching virtual and face to face I have spent many more hours at the computer than I normally would. Marcia has helped loosen up those tight neck, shoulder and arm areas as well as getting to the rest on my body using her Brazilian stone massage method that is also relaxing. Whether you enjoy a light touch or a firmer one I highly recommend Marcia.Mai, the owner, has done a wonderful job of creating a relaxing atmosphere upon entering the massage school and wants to make sure clients are pleased with their experience. I highly recommend a 90 minute massage so the therapist has time to work on all areas. The massage school offers package deals and you can also get great deals on student massages. Don’t just take my word for it, book one for yourself today.

I would highly recommend CSMWC to anyone that desires becoming a LMT. The instructors are very supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable. They enjoy what they are doing and assisting you become the best therapist possible. The anatomy instructor breaks down the information and helps you clearly understand the information. The massage instructor helps guide you with hands on practice, as well as, book instructions so you throughly understand the knowledge of the practice. The overall environment is clean, friendly, and professional. Well worth the money.

I have been to both Urban Nirvana and Massage Envy which were pretty good but this morning I had a massage here with Mei Li Trapasso and it was the absolute best massage Ive had thus far. It felt like she had magical powers in her hands. She was also very nice, informative and professional. I highly recommend her. I will definitely be booking another massage with her!!

The school is under new management finally! I absolutely recommend the school.I graduated from Carolina School of Massage in 2018. My teachers, especially Curt the Anatomy & Physiology teacher, were awesome. BUT I had a very poor experience dealing with the owner of the school at the time. The school was incredibly disorganized under the previous owner.I recently visited the school to get my transcripts for a license transfer, and I was shocked to see how much it has changed! The inside is now clean and organized. There is beautiful art on the walls and fresh plants in pots. The new staff is friendly, knowledgeable about massage, and happy to help you. The new owner, Mei, was there and personally helped me do my license transfer paperwork! She also took the time to give me a tour of the school. I so wish I could’ve have graduated from this new version of Carolina School of Massage!!

Getting student massages at Carolina Massage & Wellness is the best affordable way to get rid of stress! The training there is fantastic which can be realized through student massage treatments. Things are running smoothly with new management, and it is relatively easy to book a student massage appointment.

I had a wonderful experience with receiving massages from a massage school in Virginia Beach, VA, so when we moved to the Greenville Area, I was excited to try the massages at another school. I cannot tell you about their services here as I couldnt get that far. Be careful of your online orders. The online ordering system only allows you to order the 10 massage package. I made that mistake, and when I asked to switch to the 5 package (which is what I had wanted but never had the opportunity to select), the owner agreed readily. 2 weeks later Im still waiting for the refund of the difference... and I have not received any certificates for use. Looking at the BBB website, I found that refunds can be a weak point for this business. Just make sure you dont pay ahead of time. The patronizing and condescending tone of the owner in my recent communications has me attempting to withdraw my payment through my credit card company. I would be careful doing any large purchases with her, and if you are looking to go to school here, I would look her up on the BBB site.

I am completely disheartened and saddened by this school. The fact that they owe me $3,616.67 four months after withdrawing from classes and asking to be refunded - per their very own refund policy. It’s sad that I’m willing to be patient and settle this outside of court yet they are still unwilling to even give me even just a rough idea of if or when they will refund the money that is owed. I would be VERY careful about paying tuition in full here, because the refund policy apparently is not abided by.

I bought a Groupon for this place, but had to get it refunded. Nobody answers the phones- EVER. Then, they tell you itll be 24 hours to call you back. I could never make an appointment, because of this crazy system. I even went to the school to make an appointment in person. NOBODY was working! I waited in an empty lobby for almost ten minutes before leaving a note. Someone else is getting my business. I dont know how this place is open with service like this.
