Patrick was very professional and made me feel very comfortable, relaxed, and at peace. With this being my first professional massage it did not dissapoint. At first I was skeptical if i was going to be able to focus and enjoy being pampered and letting my body be treated with care but after the initial first half I was able to let my mind go empty and just float. Patrick helped gentley but firmly focus on areas that needed to be stretched and worked. The atmosphere was very zen it was very clean and i was very comfortable overall with the experience. I felt as if I was handled with care not only by patricks hands but with his genuine quest to help me with the experience. Very professional service! Location was well marked so I could park in the parking garage and easily find my way to Patricks massage suite because of all the signage. The room was very clean and comfortably lit with soft music playing and a warmed bed. He was very professional and gifted! Really enjoyed this experience! First off, I was running late, which is a big no-no, but I was walking from the park and didnt anticipate the hills, etc. 😆 Anyway, he was gracious and helpful anyway in providing directions. The personalization of the massage was perfect, with pressure, area, and off- limits zones. The massage space is small and comfortable. I really enjoyed every bit. I am very disappointed in the communication of this business. I had booked an appointment and found this business through groupon. I am pregnant and in the early morning on the day of my appointment, I had to go to the emergency room. Despite being in a lot of pain and still in the hospital, I called to cancel my appointment, to give the therapist at least a few hours to potentially rebook the time slot, and that I would rebook soon. I recieved a text message stating my appointment was canceled. After 2 weeks, I tried to rebook. About an hour after rebooking I received a message that my appointment is canceled. Confused, I reach out to the owner, via email. I am then told that any groupon that does not give at least a 3 day notice to be canceled will be marked as redeemed and unable to be used. NOWHERE on his groupon ad or website states this specific policy, there is only mention that there may be a charge if you dont cancel in advance. As a massage therapist myself, I understand the need to charge for no shows and frequent cancellations, but I have personally worked with clients who had emergency situations who had to rebook, for this reason. In this situation, I could have AT LEAST been notified that my groupon is no longer valid because I canceled my appointment, but instead was led to get my hopes up that I could use this great deal, only to be told Im out almost $40 for nothing and in order to get a massage I have to pay $65+. This is horrible communication, to say the least. Again, I understand having to charge for the missed time, and just my opinion, but A. You wont communicate ALL of the policy to your clients and B. State may charge, which gives you the right to pick and choose who you charge and dont charge, and you still choose to charge the pregnant woman, who can provide a legitimate excuse with hospital records, who even called to cancel in advance while still in the hospital, youre not a business owner who cares about their clients. I hear the massages are great, but I will not reccomend this place to anyone because communication and understanding are the foundations of any health care provider and client/patient relationship.
