They take great care of my dog. She has been for puppy class and boarding. A great way to socialize your dog and get them used to other people. Also affordable.

Excellent Service. Took Rocket for 8 day overnight training. Super impressed with the quality of training and the trainers. The trainers took an hour with us on coaching and creating the right corrections. I would strongly recommend their services!

Me and my boyfriend took Tommy, our 6 month old rescue (German Shepherd mix), to the K9 Academy last week and we are so happy with what they have taught him. Before, Tommy had a hard time learning his name, to sit, stay, and lay down, he would nibble on hands, and walking on a leash was not enjoyable as he would pull and jump a lot. Basically, he had a hard time respecting us and we had a difficult time trying to train him. He was very hyperactive but now I can see a great change in his demeanor, while he is still playful and himself, he now listens to us. After the 8 day boarding program Tommy walks amazing on a leash and understands these commands. We loved getting his report cards to see his progress during the week as we missed him, and we loved that on the last day the trainer showed us how to give commands. I also love that we will not have to rely on treats for him to listen to us. We are so thankful for the staff and trainers at the K9 Academy for setting up the foundation of Tommys training! Yall were so nice and professional, Tommy definitely misses you guys and sends his love!

These guys are absolutely amazing! I dropped my bully Onyx (you know how stubborn they can be) off for the 2 Week Board and Train and they absolutely crushed it! I want to give a huge thanks to the whole team and the trainers (Frank Specifically) the bond he had with my dog when I picked him up was absolutely incredible, my dog is a completely different dude! I knew the dog would come back great but they went above and beyond! Thanks again for everything you guys did! Definitely recommend!!

This was our first time here and I’m incredibly impressed! I brought my dog (shepherd mix) for grooming. First off, I Love the fact that the dogs aren’t just sitting in a tiny little kennel when they aren’t being groomed and kept there all day. It gives me anxiety because I know Lexi hates that. The lady who checked me in was prompt, apologized that it was a little crazy (it’s the day before thanksgiving break, I get it) and super friendly. A few hours later I get a text, which is super cool, that Lexi is ready. She looks amazing. The groomer, Holly, personally confirmed with me that I was happy. Everything looked amazing, I asked if she would take a little more off her arms and she did immediately. She smells amazing, looks beautiful and got a doggy play day. Definitely found our new grooming home!

Took my two pups to the groomer location. The experience was great. The staff was super nice and my babies looked awesome when I picked them up. They even sent us a surprise Valentines pic of each. I would 100% recommend the K-9 groomers!!!

We love taking our dog Charley to the K9 Academy. They offer doggy daycare, boarding, training, and grooming. We have taken advantage of everything they have to offer. Our pup is a lab so he has lots of energy. They are great about making sure he burns his energy and plays with friends. When we board him we get a daily report card on how he is doing, which I absolutely love. Thanks K9 Academy for treating our Charley like family!

Their training program is top notch! My BF and I took our two pups to them and oh my gosh, the transformation! They went from rowdy little heathens to well-behaved puppies in only a week! The people are also super friendly and love the animals they take care of, you can just see it in their eyes. Am totally going to be a continued customer.

Macon & the staff are great!! I have a very energetic dog (jack Russell) that needs lots of attention & play time. Macon & the staff treats her like their own, she feels right at home with them & loves too stay! Daily report cards sent so your never wondering how your pet is doing. AWESOME PLACE!!

I have a shelter rescue, Lab that is 1 years old. While I was in the military I had little to no time to train her as result she became wild and unruly to the point I could not walk her on a leash or prevent her from jumping on people. In just one week of training at Pitt County K9 Acadamey she did a 180. I bought back a dicipline dog. I could take for walks listen to commands and behave in public. Great staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Ellie Mae went to K9 Academy to get basic puppy training. She received much more. She learned her basic commands, is doing much better on the leash and became more comfortable around other dogs. The staff could not have been any nicer. The trainers were very informative about how to continue to work with Ellie Mae. We are extremely thankful for everyones hard work at the Academy and plan to take our little girl back for more training in a couple of months. Thanks for all you do!

My puppy attended the week long training course here. She came out of it understanding some new commands and more importantly she was doing much better walking on a leash! Very happy with the outcome, and I recommend this location to anyone needing puppy/dog training or even doggy day care services!

Good grooming for my Lilly. Loved the Easter pic they took of her. They opened a new location off E. Firetower and I accidentally went to the other one. I like my experience at the old location a little better. We got to play with all the dogs and the caretakers were super friendly. Staff at new location is a little stiff and new shop not as warm and inviting. Overall though they did a good job.Response to owner:Hey thanks for the feedback. They were very busy at the old location too. When I checked in my dog there were dogs running around and others checking in. I dont think being busy was the factor. Its just my opinion as a patron and feedback is also good for a business owner because it helps improve. Hopefully youll take it that way and not as bad criticism. Thanks

Super service. I’ve used Pitt County K9 for training, boarding and bathing my dog. She has a high energy personality and was easily distracted when I first got her. Macon not only made sure she had the training to listen and respect me but that I had an understanding of how to work with her as well. She loves, loves visiting Pitt County K9 and nothing can wear her out like a day at the academy. The staff are friendly and professional and nobody can get her as clean as they do!

After working with Macon my dog, Hercules, went from being a very strong willed, stubborn dog to the sweetest dog you have ever met. I can not say enough about how great this place is. The staff is friendly and have a genuine love for animals. Hercules now has a new home away from home and lots of new furry friends!! Highly recommend this place!

Friendly staff and fair prices. Macon is a great trainer and loves the animals like his own. The Groomers are some of the best in town. When you drop your 4 legged family member off there during their grooming stay they are loved on like their own as well.

They took good care of our dogs. They didn’t want to leave when I picked them up. They even offer discounts for multiple dogs which is great, and they don’t charge extra for play time or giving dogs their medication. The place is spotless. Very impressed.

The 1st day I was a bit skeptical. The check in girl was not too friendly or informative. However, the owner and the lady on pickup was awesome. My dogs really didnt learn a thing, but they were very kind and seemed to love my babies.

I love this place. I have a boxer puppy and never once have I been turned done for a over night stay even if it is short notice. I honestly think my dog rather stay there than at home.Owner is a great guy and the staff is top notch. Training is on point.

They did an amazing job with my lab. She is 5 months old and they taught her sit, lay and heel. We loved the report card they sent us while we where out of town.

Staff was very friendly. Love the big yard they have for the dogs to play in! I didn’t get my dog groomed after his stay but my parents got their girl groomed and she still smells wonderful weeks later!

Little did we know that our rescue dog was a Tasmanian devil. After several months of dealing with a dog that would not listen and displayed aggression to others, we sought help from Pitt County K9 Academy (Macon Moore). After 2 weeks of training with Macon, we now have a dog that is obedient, listens and follows basic commands. Macon and his staff did a fantastic job training “BO”. Everyone was very friendly & BO was treated with lots of love. Macon is an excellent dog trainer and I highly recommend Macon and his staff.

Bullet always comes back happy and clean after his stays. Hes a regular and enjoys playing and the attention. This is his second year of going.

My German Shepard Sasha has been there twice now and both times I’ve been super happy! Sasha is very dramatic and they welcomed her with open arms and helped her to feel comfortable there! Would highly recommend!

They are dog people and you can tell they love them. They are so friendly and real with you. We had a concern with our rescue dog not liking other dogs and needing to build her confidence which we didnt know how to do. We brought her here and Macon was so influential in helping her be a better dog. He really knows dogs and how to train them. His staff there is top notch. Our dog hated getting her nails trimmed to and they spent time to calm her and get it done. We will be back over and over for doggy day care!!

Our journey with Pitt County K9 Academy began just over a year ago. Macon did some basic training with Hank our fur baby. He is easy to work with and talk to. He worked with me on what he did to train Hank so that I could continue training at home. He answered all of my questions and even continued helping with issues that came up after we got home. So far I have boarded Hank about six times with Macon and his staff. They are fantastic! They run a clean facility and care about every pup brought to them. They are friendly and eager to help in anyway they can. Excellant customer service! Hank has bonded with Macon & Josh. I would not take Hank anywhere else! They are all around a wonderful group of people to work with!!

I cannot say enough good things about K9 Academy Grooming! They staff is wonderful and do a GREAT job! The prices are about what everyone else charges. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have had my dog at 4 different groomers in the Greenville area and K9 Academy is, by far, the best experience I’ve had for doggie grooming!! I have not had any issues getting an appointment when I needed one and they are pretty fast...about 3.5 hours for a full groom!! I also love how the dogs are allowed to socialize with other dogs and aren’t put into individual crates when they are not being groomed. If you go here you will not be disappointed!

Macon was great with our four legged baby. He boarded her while we went on vacation. She was well cared for and happy when we got home. If you want someone that will care for your pets as much as you do then Pitt County K9 Academy is your place.

We have a 13 year old lab mix who needed to be boarded for the first time in years. I was so nervous when calling but Lane made me feel very reassured and comfortable on the phone. They encouraged me to come in on a Sunday to see the kennel. They were so kind to me and my old girl whos normally high anxiety and antisocial.with other dogs. The 1st report card we received was not what I expected and neither was any of the others!! Every report was positive. She played she had extra love and was very happy when we picked her up. Im just so happy they made me and my girl feel so welcome and well cared for

Took our mischievous German Shepherd puppy to take basic obedience training. 10 days later, we have a new dog! He learned basic commands as well as hand signals. But the biggest change came in his desire to chew anything and everyone. Since returning he is everything you want in your dog. Highly recommend with 2 thumbs up!!

Woo just woooh... love love the groomers here. I am so grateful that Pitt County K9 Academy Grooming Salon has open their doors in Greenville/Winterville. Nothing like a having a locally own business.As soon as we walk-in we were welcome with huge smiles and I could feel the “zen”. Love the fact dogs are able to walk around instead of staying in crates. The salon was spotless, the gray wooden floors makes it feel really spacious and it gives a nice modern touch. The golden pieces of art work adds a balance of elegance for the owners and the dogs.Such a treat to had come 12/22/2018 two days before Christmas Santa was seating next to their lovely Christmas tree.My mother-in-law brings her schnauzer to Holly and Milo always looks great. I live in Charlotte and have been taking our miniature schnauzer to the same groomer for five years now. Being closer to Christmas we missed our window to schedule his appointment before we travel to Greenville. I decided to be adventurous and take Chiple to PCK9A to be groomed so he could be nicely groom, clean, and fluffy for the Christmas pictures. One of the best decisions I made for my doggies. When I dropped him off he made lots of friends, every pup had wagging tales (always a good sign as a dog owner). All the groomers rave on how cute and sweet Chiple was. Of course that added a smile on my face.Holly was so gracious to make room for Chiple on her busiest Saturday, yet, for that I am grateful.Now to my sweet boys hair cut. You can see his before and after picture. Holly did a wonderful job with his schnauzer traditional haircut. My preference it’s to leave the skirt,brows and beard long. Chiple’s hair was evenly cut. His fur smelled pretty good and he had a cute red bandana. Looked like a cute Christmas present. The prices are reasonable which allows room to tip the groomers for their hard work.We will definitely be back, thank you all for pampering our lovely miniature schnauzer Holly and Lane.
