I had recently changed my insurance and was seeking a new primary care physician, this facility came up on my list of possibilities. While I was impressed with the services this office claimed to offer(due to my current medical situation this office initially appeared to be a good fit) I was wholly disappointed with the service and the way I was treated. I understand that medical facilities have policies regarding tardiness and somethings are out of all peoples control. I was late for an appointment due to a traffic accident and the highway being at a standstill. I called the office and let them know, they were very accommodating and had no problem rescheduling for the next day. I showed up the next day five minutes late for my appointment the secretary politely told me that five minutes late was too much because they were too busy and said we could reschedule for another day and to fill out this paperwork. I went outside to my vehicle to fill out the paperwork and when I was done went back inside and was approached by the “doctor” (Stephanie-not an actual doctor- only an NP) and was told that I could no longer be accepted as a patient due to my tardiness( mind you that their policy is 3 no call/late show-at least that’s what their policy says on their paperwork ) Well as I have said I accept that medical facilities have their own policies but the rudeness that I was given by the actual “doctor” is 100% unacceptable. The secretary was very accommodating and trying to help me out. The audacity of the comments and the actual rudeness to each myself and the person with me by the “doctor” of this facility were treated is 100% UNPROFESSIONAL, INAPPROPRIATE and UNACCEPTABLE! This “doctor” is obviously full of herself and feels that she can treat anyone callously, it’s apparent that she may need a class or 2 on social interaction and maybe a little more experience in her chosen field.I also believe that discrimination was in play here. I believe that her personal bias led to her decision to be rude and discriminatory ( I am a large heavily tattooed man) which once again is while this is no reflection of the services that may be able to be rendered by actual Doctors in this office, it shows very poorly upon the personality of this “doctor” and obviously would reflect on her actual care of patients, that being said if you are seeking a new primary care facility I would search elsewhere. If I could give this facility a zero rating I would!

I was one of those who didn`t go to the Dr. except when I had to but I made the decision in 2020 to go to the Dr. once a year. I did research and decided to go see Dr. Hudson and was very impressed. When I went back last week I saw the NP Stephanie Weir and she was just as fabulous. They both take the time to gather all of the needed information that they need to know about you. They do not try and rush you out the door so if something is going on you have plenty of time to share. I will continue to see them once a year and even as needed.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Cecil for years and I’m never disappointed. She’s thorough and understanding with the most awesome and reassuring bedside manner. I adore her so much that I followed her to her new practice at Thrive. 100/10 would recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Cecil for years now. I am so thankful they started this new practice. The faculty has always been very much on top of things and always updates me with any information I need to know concerning my appointment or anything! Dr. Cecil never makes me feel rushed and genuinely cares what I am saying. She is delightful to speak with, as is everyone that works there. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I had an appointment time there this morning for 8:15 I arrived at 8:02. I put my mask on and proceeded to enter. I noticed a sign on the door to call when arriving so I call and tell the lady my name and why I’m there. She told me that I wasn’t on the schedule and that I couldn’t be seen. This was my first visit to this doctor after losing insurance coverage to my wonderful doctor I’ve had for 15 years. A very important visit for my yearly bloodwork. I took time away from work, wasted gas all to be told that I wasn’t on the schedule. That because I had made an appointment prior to this appointment and canceled the same day they can’t see me! Not a doctor by the way a nurse practitioner. Can you even see a doctor these days. They could have at least had the courtesy to call and let me know not to come. Very rude and I wouldn’t recommend them. Now back to searching for a new doctor.

I have been a long time patient of Dr Hudson! He is THE BEST DOCTOR! I would follow him to GA if he moved there. He is always very attentive and caring. He listens and doesnt talk over you or down to you. He doesnt push unnecessary pills on you! His nurses are great! Front office staff is also fabulous! Not one complaint ever from me or my husband. The new office is beautiful also!

I was not totally surprised by the Excellent Patient Follow Up...but so glad to have acquired it again via Dr. Cecil and Thrive Family Medicine. If you treasure honest, competent care and a non-rush feeling...there is a new option: Thrive. Today I was impressed by the simple, but considerate actions from one of the Nurses. Sometimes, when done well, even the small things reflect a lot!
