This is a great place for gallbladder surgery. Dr. NAZIRI is a great doctor and surgeon as well as a great bedside manor. I know God led me to this place for a reason because I was scheduled with another doctor and I felt led to go here. My gallbladder was ruptured and I had gangrene. I was about to be in serious trouble but I am alive and doing well! Great doctor Dr. Naziri. To God be the Glory!

I had sleeve surgery in June with Dr. Chapman. He answered all our questions. Came to talk to me before they took me back for surgery. I follow up with Julie now. She is great. The whole staff at Southern Surgical is amazing.

Dr. Naziri removed my gallbladder with no issues. I was up walking around the same day with very little scar tissue and no complications. It was easy and everything went smoothly.Just when I thought Southern Surgical couldnt get any better, they bring in another great surgeon, Dr. Chapman. Dr. Chapman sir, thank you for all your support and guidance. I cannot thank you enough. You cant find doctors any better! They treat you like family and sincerely care for their patients.

Highly recommended! I have been served by Dr. Naziri (awesome!!), Dr. Mann, Julie, and a small handful of support staff at this office. They are excellent, they partner with top quality medical practitioners, and they are thorough in providing proper care from the first appointment through immediate and annual follow up!

Horrible office. I saw Dr. Naziri as a follow up from a surgery I had with a Dr. no longer in their practice. I waited for almost 2 hours to see him, he was in the room for less than 8 minutes, and was backing out of the room while I was still asking questions.When I called to say I was still having issues and wanted to see the other dr in the office I was told I couldn’t. The office staff person, Elizabeth, was rude and combative. She stated the office manager needed to decide if I got to see a different dr.While waiting for that call I already contacted a different office, as I was not coming back here.When the office admin called she stated that because I did not want to see Dr. Naziri, southern surgical could not help me.She was very correct.They obviously only want new surgeries and have no desire to see those who have already given them surgery money.I intend to file a complaint with blue cross blue shield as well.

I loved my surgeon, but the office is annoying to deal with. There are many other surgeons in the area who will be more accommodating. Southern Surgical makes you feel like you cant get the same level of service anywhere else. They send you to an internal group of specialists who regularly ping your insurance for rates that are often ABOVE the allowed amount that my insurance will pay... and I have really good insurance. It seems like a fat farm where the doctors involved in the referral ring benefit! The whole thing feels a bit scammy. God forbid you miss an appointment. I missed an appointment exactly once and got SEVERAL snarky voicemails and letters in the mail about a $50 now show fee. SORRY but Im not paying $50 because I missed an appointment to go and see a PA. She is very smart and personable but she always rushes you through appointments and then you get your claim letter in the mail and realize theyve charged your insurance company over $500 for a rushed 15 minute appointment where they quickly assess your weight loss and your current diet and rush you out the door. The office thinks they won by sending a certified letter asking me to seek care elsewhere since I am not happy with their service, but the jokes on them because Ive already been seeing a different provider who is much more thorough and doesnt send me all over different places to get my diagnostics/psych/nutrition post op care. Would recommend for the pre-op, but post op... move on.

All they seam to want to do is take your money and refer you to someone else. I was referred to them 2 different times and the Dr never even checked my out. All he did was charge me, shake my hand, and send me to try another procedure that doesnt work. Have been put off by them for over a year and still not done anything for my problem.

Bad customer service, nasty attitudes! Waited Over a hour to be seen, they took 4 other people before me and I was 15 minutes early for my appt! Then they said they couldn’t see me because I complained about the wait time and people going before me. Go somewhere else!!!!!!!

I had sleeve surg6done by Dr. Chapnan on October 18. When I meet with him the one thing he said follow what we tell you and you will succeed. I have done that and I am down 93lbs and it has not been 4 months yet. All I will tell people follow game plan.
