My two oldest children are patients at The Allergy Center and we could not be more pleased with the service we receive. From the front desk, to the nurses, techs, and of course Dr. Mehlhop, we are always treated with kindness, concern, and professionalism. Weve always had timely and thoughtful visits. I even can make allergy shot appointments on the fly if/when I forget to schedule at our previous visit! Even better, they know who my boys are when they walk in the door. The difference that The Allergy Center has made in our lives is no short list. One of my sons has an aversion to histamine medications and so improving his natural ability to fight off allergens through shots has changed his life substantially. No longer is he the kid in the classroom with a runny, red nose stuffed with tissue all year! And we discovered some life threatening food allergies in the other child that would have gone unknown until he tried the food! In my mind, the practice and those who work there are well worth any wait that may happen due to the way they care individually for each patient. Our family highly recommends this center and its staff.

I went today with my daughter and we had the first appointment of the day which was at 10:00. We were finally called to the back at 10:42 which with a 3 year old is crazy. The whole reason we had the first appointment was to reduce the wait time. Not sure if there are other options, but if there are I would suggest looking into them.

We have had nothing but positive experiences at The Allergy Center. The staff has been super nice and helpful in person and on the phone, and they always treat my child with the upmost care and respect. They always make sure that he is comfortable while there. We have not had any issues with getting appointments or wait times during appointments. We are thankful that we found Dr. Mehlhop!

I have really enjoyed my experience with the doctor and the staff here throughout the last couple appointments. Especially the nurs (I believe thats her title) that worked with me for the two hours of testing I had to have done. She was super knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. The doctor came in multiple times to check in on me and spent a good amount of time explaining allergy shots and why I would be a good candidate for them.My insurance fully covered the shots and I cant wait to start feeling better and so happy Ive found a solution after all these years! The only thing that I wish could have been better was my wait time. Otherwise I would have given them a 5/5

I had a bad experience today with my son. The front desk associates are very nice and helpful with trying to get us appointments when needed, but the doctor had a horrible attitude. Today I sent my son with my mother to see the specialist because my son has a very bad rash and some wheezing. I contacted the office to make sure this was ok. I, a single parent, work out of town and called to get an appointment so my sons health could be taking care of. I tried to get him an appointment the previous day, when I was available, but the appointment was booked as I was getting the referral. I could not take off and I feel as if doctors should understand and be considerate that we all try to be great parents and get our children the help they need. Sometimes we need our support systems. I provided my mother with as much information as possible to provide the doctor, but obviously there would be some questions she would need my assistance on. The doctor needed me to answer some questions over the phone and I had a difficult time hearing him. My mother stated he was pacing the entire time, blowing his breath very hard, telling her I should have rescheduled, and being very rude. Over the phone, I could hear him seeming as if he was losing his patience. I’m very disappointed in the service received and wish this doctor would have been more considerate to our situation. I am a licensed social worker and I know all of my rights and that doctors have a code of ethics for a reason.

Absolute waste of my morning. Got there on time, with my infant daughter, waited an hour for the doctor with very poor bedside manner, he had no idea what could be my issue, didn’t even try to look at my symptoms & didn’t feel like doing an allergy test, when i stated That I’ve already waited an hour, so i would rather do it today, he copped an attitude with me & left the room after saying his nurse will be in to do the test. 30 minutes go by, and still no one is here to do the test (mind you the test takes approx 45 minutes) they wanted me to sit in that stuffy little room for 3 hours with an infant. Needless to say, I walked out & will not be rescheduling. Absolutely unacceptable & unreasonable & i better NOT be billed for this awful experience. Save your time, & go somewhere else, this place isn’t worth the wait.

Wait time was too long. Waited 1.5 hours and still didn’t see the doctor.
