Had a previous skin cancer removed in another state (2015). Had a spot that worried me so I went Feb 2020 to Dr. Poinsette. She said it wasnt a problem, prescribed some cream and told me to come back if it didnt heal. Went back about 2 months later because spot was still there. Was told it wasnt cancer or pre-cancerous. Spot started bleeding spring 2021. Went back and saw her physician assistant May 2021. PA biopsied the spot and I got a call that it was cancerous. Now im facing another MOHS surgery when that spot could have been removed a year earlier. Dont know why more care wasnt taken when I had previous skin cancer.

My sister went concerned about a mole on her scalp that her hairstylist found. This doctor sent her home because she couldnt find it. My aunt found it in two seconds. She went to another doctor who also found it in two seconds and had a biopsy it was pre-cancer Im usually not one to go out of my way to write a review but this is series shes only 22. Now shes having surgery. Dont recommend this Doctor at all

I have been going to Dr. Poinsette for some time now and every time I go it occurs to me how absolutely prompt they are in their appointment schedule. I always am back in the examining room within 5 minutes of my appointment time and she is in the room in 5 minutes or less to start her exam. I totally appreciate the bedside manner she has for what is kind of a nervous appointment for me turns..... it always turns out to be ok thanks to their time management and desire to make the patient feel informed and comfortable!!! Thank you so much Dr Poinsette!!!
