I have visited Urgent Care twice with 2 different children over the past 2 weeks. I had 2 different PAs, but both were awesome and professional. I had the same nurse both times and she is who I would like to talk about. Her name is Crystal and if I won the lottery, I would hire her to come be my private nurse for my family. She is the NICEST person Ive ever met in the health care industry. She blends professionalism and kindness, flawlessly. She should be teaching bedside manner and care to every nurse hired by Hunt Regional. I come from a family of health care professionals and she deserves all the stars 🌟!! I will go there for any non-emergency needs just because of Crystal!!!

Website very confusing about sign-up for covid vaccine appointments. When you call, the staff does not tell you that the vaccine is administered until 12 noon.WHY wait until noon, due to their confusion , i went at 10:30 am. Inly one person waiting.The President wants people to get the shots , but you have to jump thru hoops to get one.

The wait time was too long, or I would have given 5 stars. I waited over an hour while running a high fever and experiencing dizzy spells. I’m not sure if they were short staffed or if that is the norm, but waiting over 30 minutes seems unnecessary.The visit was great though. The staff was very professional and treated me with care and kindness during my visit. While I left not knowing what caused my illness, the instructions I was given have helped to ease my discomfort and keep my fever at bay.

The front desk is not very helpful or friendly. I got sent back to my car 3 times and I wasnt parked close. We could have handled our process without so many trips back and forth plus Im disabled. Also being sick doesnt help matters either. In the back with the nurses everything was great πŸ‘ everything was perfect.

TLDR; Over two hours wait time with scheduled appointment, no treatment despite calling ahead to confirm I would be treated for my condition, poor bedside manner, doctor suggested I was lying about symptoms. I very rarely leave less than a 5 star review anywhere. My experience at this establishment was terrible, outside of the young lady who took my back to my room being kind. I had called ahead to confirm I would be able to be treated for a migraine as β€˜headaches’ are listed as both a condition they do and do not treat here and was assured I would be treated and advised to schedule an appointment to avoid long wait times. I filled out the registration in advance including uploading images of my insurance card, this took about 20 minutes and was not comfortable considering the migraine. I arrived at 11:00 for an 11:15 appointment. At 11:35, I called and apologized immediately for calling but asked to confirm if they could offer an update on the wait time as sitting in the sun was making things worse and I was vomiting in the parking lot. I was told they didn’t have my insurance information and had text messaged me for it (a text I never received) and to bring it in and they would get me right in. The woman took my card and sent me back to my car. I was not called back into the waiting room until 12:17. The noise and light from being in the waiting room was also making my migraine worse and I say there very embarrassed that tears were streaming down my face. I was finally called back to a room around 12:40. The woman who took me back was empathetic, used a low voice, and told me someone would be in to see me shortly. At 1:16, (TWO HOURS AFTER my appointment time I approached the nurses desk, again apologized and asked for an update as my appointment was scheduled for two hours prior and I was unable to stay past two. She apologized and said someone would be in shortly. The treating provider came in very loudly and seemed frustrated/short with me. She told me the only thing they could offer me was zofran for my vomiting as I have another condition keeping me from receiving the shot they normally give. I told her I was sorry if I had wasted her time, but that I had called ahead with that information to confirm I would be treated. She said β€˜they probably didn’t know you had the zofran.’ Which treats vomiting, but not migraine like I had called to ask about. I was told I would need to go to the ER. I asked if she was aware if they would be able to hang me a bag of saline to confirm explaining it had been a few days since I had kept water down and felt dehydrated and know sometimes it helped. She said β€˜if you’re really throwing up as much as you say you are’ like I say there for 2 hours and paid $150 for a condition I didn’t really have. I was given information for a neurologist but offered no treatment for my migraine. I waited over two hours to be seen for a total of less than 5 minutes by someone completely lacking empathy for my situation.

Unfortunately had a positive COVID 19 test but as far as the medical staff; they were really professional and were very nice every time they spoke with me. 10/10 wouldn’t be hesitant to go back if necessary!

The website let me make a well child checkup and then I was informed they don’t do them after I had taken off work to take my child. 2. They didn’t even know what I was there for so why did it ask me on the website when I made my appointment? Overall I’m disappointed because I didn’t get what I needed and I missed work.

I had a bad cut on my index finger, the hospital ER was full including suspected COVID cases, so I drove to the Urgent care. Because of uptick in COVID cases, we were asked to wait in the car or on the bench. I worried about that with the temperature being high 90s, but in 30 minutes I was called in. They were busy and short-handed, and I was in there about 1 1/2 hrs, getting my finger sewed up and bandaged. I was extremely satisfied with every aspect of my visit. The receptionist was very nice, as was the nurse and her assistant. I returned as instructed on the 10th day to get sutures out. Same type of experience. Everyone was very nice, even though Im sure they were still short on staff. I really appreciate all they have to do with COVID restrictions and being short-staffed. They were still kind and helpful.

Don’t not use under the VA mission act, any meds that they prescribed will not be filled at local pharmacies. Went there twice under the advice of the Greenville VA clinic, both times the meds prescribed where refused by the insurance that the VA uses as none urgent meds. The first time they wrote a physical script ithat I took to the VA in Bonham to be filled out after I explained that Walgreens could not fill the script. Second time it happened the doctors at the urgent care in Greenville refused to write the script out and told me that I must not be in that bad a shape if I don’t want to pay the full price of the scripts. They were very rude and the hole visit wasted the money the va is paying them for my lack of treatment. Vets it is better to wait for the appointment at the va clinic or just go to the ER if you expect any meds for your alimentary.

If I could give this place a 0 I so would. My daughter and I went in today for a rash on my daughter. The lady at the front desk was automatically rude with attitude. I ignore it at 1st. I gave her my dl n insurance card n filled out the paper work n gave it back. We were told to wait out in our car which was fine. We were out there for almost 2 hrs. I go back in and ask politely how much longer it was going to be. They ask for my daughters name n I told them n then they told me there was a 3 HR wait n to wait in my car n they will call me. I told them wish i would have known that. Then we stepped outside n within 5 mins the nurse calls to tell us to come in. We walked in n was told to have a seat in the waiting room that it was going to be another 30 mins before we get seen. In the process of us waiting about 7 ppl went to the back. I went up to the front desk n ask for my dl n insurance card back n the lady goes the nurse is fixing to call her back n I told her that was what u said 3 hrs ago. I asked her again for my dl n insurance card n she gets more attitude. The lady walks to the back grabs my cards n I can hear them making rude comments. I grab my stuff n told them I would never come back to this place until they can learn how to talk to their patients.. So if I was you I wouldnt go here. They are rude lazy and refuse to let you know anything bout ur appt or ur kids.

I scheduled my appointment online. It stated to arrive 30 minutes early since I was a new patient in order to fill out the new patient paperwork. When I got there, the lady at the window acted confused when I stated I had a noon appointment. An appointment? Yes maam. At what time?? Noon.She took my license and insurance and I sat down. I was never asked to fill out any new patient paperwork, so I felt that getting there a half hour early wasted some of my time. For someone that doesnt feel well, thats a big deal.Then I kept noticing multiple people through the window were looking at me and gesturing/talking about me. That can be a little unnerving. It turns out they were just trying to figure out my insurance. Not their fault that my company doesnt issue new cards if I dont make any changes to my insurance options. But please, do the discussions out of sight of the patient.Once called back, all went well. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and professional. I would have been in and out fairly quickly had I not arrived that half hour early for no apparent reason.Overall though, it was a good experience. Despite it being a higher copay, it was worth it to be seen right away instead of waiting on an appointment with a regular Dr office.

Both my daughter and I walked into the Urgent Care facility with a possibility of Covid 19. We were tested even though I forgot our insurance. They were able to look it up which saved us an hour travel time. They were polite, courteous and very professional. So I was first in line on Labor Day. I was in and out in less than. 45 mins. No complaints from me. I only rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is like an emergency room copay for me. Not their fault, but definitely something to consider if that is an issue for you. I would definitely go back if I was in a pinch like I was on Labor Day.

Ive been in there a few times for minor things but recently went in on a Friday for a lingering sinus infection. Nurse tried to give me a strep test, flu test, and covid test and I said I was not interested in taking any of them because I was literally just having problems with my sinuses at the time of my appointment... nurse told me she would send in the nurse practitioner to talk to me about the tests and why I didnt want to take them. Went back and forth with the nurse practitioner and she did not want to hear my opinion on my wellbeing and seemed way more interested in giving me a covid test. She completely bypassed strep and flu, and only talked to me about the covid test. Ended up getting the covid test because she highly recommended it and simply couldnt take no for an answer. I said I had a sinus infection and needed a prescription, not a covid test... 10 out of 10 will not go back. Why not do your job, listen to the patient, and give them what they are needing, not simply worried about covid? Test came back a day later and it was NEGATIVE. Just like I told the ladies it would be.

My husband and I were there for covid tests. The staff was friendly and informative. I gave them a 4 rating because we were asked to sit in our cars in the middle of the afternoon to fill out our paperwork (which took about 15 mins.). We sat on a bench instead. I went to the urgent care facititality on Tuesday Aug.11. I got there at 2pm. The front desk people were very helpful. I needed a culture done on a sore I had on my arm. I filled out the paper work. I am a Vietnam veteran. They told me to take a seat and in about 30 minutes I was taken back. The nurse was very friendly and took vitals. Then said Dr. Would be in soon. Then Dr. Came in and listen to all I said and she told me what she thought the problem maybe and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great place and if I need any more care I will be going back there. I will let everyone know what a great place

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!We called urgent care Greenville this afternoon, about seeing us for, β€œstrep throat” - NO ITS NOT COVID! We just had all of our blood work done for it and we are fine. One of us has already had strep throat and been successfully treated-now the other one has it. We get it about once a year so we know what it is. We typically go to UT Southwestern for our medical in Dallas because of subpar/ mediocre medicine here in Greenville. This is a rather simple affair and not complicated.We felt they could handle this.We first called to make sure they were open. The next question was, β€œwe have CIGNA healthcare a d Blue Cross insurance (we carry double healthcare insurance). We have met our out-of-pocket deductibles for this year 2020, are you in network with CIGNA?” The girl said, β€œwe take CIGNA insurance all the time and are in network.”We drove from cumby to Greenville, to just walk in and see a doctor for a quick strep throat test and to get the prescription for antibiotics. It is really more of an inconvenience than anything serious.First they make you wait out in the car in the parking lot. The next thing they required was a, β€œ$30 co pay”- our co-pay should be zero!! We have met our out-of-pocket deductible for this year FOR BOTH Of our healthcare plans. We haven’t paid anything in the way of co-pays or, β€œextraβ€œ since SeptemberThese β€œshady” people still required a $30 co-pay. We walked out without being seen. Will just make the trip to Dallas. Or see about a Tele commute visit with our doctor at UT Southwestern.BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE! Make sure you know exactly what you’re paying for. Otherwise you’re going to get stuck with all sorts of bills your insurance will not cover. There was absolutely no justification for this $30 co-pay. We won’t be back! We won’t be using Greenville hospital services. We don’t deal with shady medical practitioners!!We just left. We’re not gonna pay them for something needless. We didn’t give them a penny and we left without being seen! We won’t ever consider them again for anything

I am a retired senior who went there for covid-19 test after my wife tested positive . I am extremely high risk with 6 heart attacks and COPD. While waiting in my vehicle I was told I had an outstanding bill from Hunt regional hospital for 50.00 which was supposedly paid by medicare and VA....I was told no pay...no test. After paying the contested ransom . And waiting for an hour I was getting checked in by an extremely rude and obnoxious ....I assume nurse.. I will never go back there or allow my family to go there...more complaints will be filed with the appropriate people.

My daughter went to get a test for COVID at this facility. We called at 9:57am and was told to park in a numbered slot and call back, well we did. My daughter who suffers with anxiety was sitting in her car in a numbered slot for over an hour and 15 minutes just for a swab test And there was only one person administering the tests. I don’t know what kind of training has been done at this urgent care but they need more. And the process for tests should also be reviewed.

I went in to urgent care today and I am beyond disappointed. They are Very inpersonable, absolutely no bedside manner. I was very sick with flu like symptoms. Now spiking a high fever. They did a flu and strep test but with the flu test they did barely went in my nose when everyone knows you need to go higher up to get a accurate result. I know I have the flu. Everything I said was not really listened to or made me feel like I am stupid. I have had a lot of health problems in my life and I know what I am talking about on what is going on with my body. Whatever I said, I was either interrupted or they just acted like they are better than everyone. I will say I only see the top doctors in Dallas and I went here because it was close by which that was a huge mistake. I will go to my β€œgood” doctor when they open Monday. They treat you like you are cattle. Not to mention we were the next in line and you could hear the β€œnurses” talk like they are sitting at a coffee shop gossiping. The only thing good there is the lady at the front desk was very nice. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I would rather spend thousands at a hospital then to walk into that place again.
