I was looking for good expert help on injury prevention for some mild/moderate pain after three months of rest. I was disappointed that I really didnt get any help, pointers, or a recommended plan. Finally, she darted out the door without asking if I had any questions so I really had no opportunity at that point (I definitely wanted to talk more); Felt like a number. The good news is that the X-ray showed good health, so not a complete waste of my time but should have been better service in my opinion. Hence, 2 stars instead of 1.
Dr. Boyette and her staff have provided excellent treatment for my orthopaedic problem. They have been exceptionally kind, caring, friendly, thorough, and skillful every time I have been to their clinic. Dr. Boyette did a wonderful job in repairing my foot.
I went and saw the PA. He pretty much called me fat. And wanted to give me something that would rise my blood sugars. But would not do a MRI.
Dr. Boyette and Greg are both awesome! Never have long waiting. Dr. Boyette gave me a new knee and it still works great! I would highly recommend them!
Friendly atmosphere. Upfront, straight to the point about your care. I like people who are straight forward
Brought my son not once but twice about pain in his limb. Dr boyette and a pa performed a quick exam and since he wasnt in pain at time brushed it off as growing pains/virus related. As any mother would do I went to Duke, where my son was diagnosed with Legg-Calve-Perthes disease. The doctor knew as soon as she touched his hips it was there not his knee. After a quick xray we got our answer. Also she has terrible bedside manner and I asked Dr. Boyette should we get a xray of his hip and she stated that would be unnecessary radiation.
Love Greg and Dr Boyette. They get job done right the first time. In and out on they visits.
Always a great experience and Greg is so kind and compassionate! Love all of the staff!
I was successfully treated by PA for hip pain summer 2017, which turned out to be mild bursitis and easily corrected with an injection. So when I developed post tib tendonitis (very tricky foot/ankle injury), I went back to PA with confidence. At first I was well attended, xrays, then ultrasound by doc, who suggested casting my foot for 6 weeks to immobilize tendon. Against my gut I agreed, hoping the rest would help. It did not, and the atrophy and ankle immobility on top of tendonitis have now contributed to an ongoing foot problem for which I seek remedy. There was no prescribed follow up after my cast removal except to start doing toe raises (I could barely walk), so I self referred to PT. My observations: if you do not require surgery, they will put you in a boot or cast. Hopefully, that will work, but if not you are on your own and they got their fees from insurance. And, I had to pay $16 (really??) for a copy of my xrays to take to next doc. Never paid for my own films before this. Would not recommend. Go to Duke if you can.
Went to see Dr boyette. She explained everything in very detail. Told me to come back in 6 weeks but if I needed to come back earlier they would see me. I called and asked to be seen earlier and they refused told me I needed to wait the full 6 weeks. She wouldnt do my fmla forms unless I had to have surgery and then it would cost me $50. Most places charge $10-15. Decided to get a 2nd opinion and was charged $16 for a copy of my xray. Really......that is ridiculous. Glad Im seeing someone new.
Bad experience at first but the staff stepped up and did the right thing! I really appreciate that!
A very professional and caring atmosphere.
Rude unhelpful office staff. long waits and rushed through the office. Not helpful in getting pre-approvals for tests. Drama filled office with notes on every door about them not being there to clean up after us. Unprofessional.
Very friendly staff, Ive visited them 5 times and never had a single issue with them.
Dr. Boyette knew my injury wasnt because of my height and weight it was due to a fall at work!!.
He looked at my arm and said there is nothing he can do.
Very rude physician assistant
