The workers were very polite. But if you are very poor this place is not for you. This place is only for people who have income. If you are sick with no income they will schedule you a appointment but when you show up with the proper legal paperwork that they request you bring they will turn you away! Tooth ache and all and will give you free clinic information or request that you bring in some person in your houses income. So only go here if you have some type of income They are very nice but not for the very sick and poor. Just here for the kinda poor I guess.

Ive spent most of my life neglecting my teeth and now that Ive taken responsible actions to better myself the entire new horizons employees have gone far far out of their way to treat me like a special person..soon Ill be able to smile like Ive always wanted and all credit goes to the entire team that works diligent to ensure Im happy and pain free.. forever grateful for helping build my esteem that I once only thought was dream..in tears if joy .

I need a cavity worked on since last year and they haven’t been in a big hurry to fix it then. I waited over a year and now they’re going to make me wait even longer to get it fixed. I think they want it to get worse so that they can make more money by tooth extraction or root canal, because they know insurance will pay more for that!.There’s no reason why they couldn’t have fixed it while i was there for a check up! They just sent me on my way out to wait a few months more. Watch, they will probably try to cancel my appointment again!

I have a tooth that is definitely infected and needs to come out. I cant even eat at this point. I called and was told that because of COVID-19 all new patients were on hold. How does that make any sense. Some places are just abusing the threat of this very serious disease. You are a dentist office. Your common practice and normal cleaning habits. Should make it impossible for COVID-19 to survive anywhere in your office. That in addition to people wearing mask. Theres no reason you should be turning away new patients. Believe me nobody is calling up to make an appointment just to waste some time. Usually people are in serious pain before the call a dentist. I know I always have been.

I called them the day after Christmas to see about coming in. I explained I had a cracked tooth and need something done that day. The lady told me to be there at 1 pm. I showed up and was rudely told they couldnt see me. It would be Monday before the could see me. I was in far to much pain to wait as I explained earlier. I can not speak to the quality of work of the dentist but as a practice manager I can address the unprofessional way my situation was handled. Do not expect a smiling face at the front desk. I was merely barked at and told they had 6 walk ins and oh well. No compassion or understanding just merely wasted my time while I am in pain. The people working the front know little about patient etiquette and could use a class!I went to my car and called Aspen Dental and the got me in same day at the Simpsonville office and did not waste my time or rip me off!

Theyre awesome at New Horizon!! My teeth are a mess but they are careful to take care of me and my problems. Very professional but doesnt cost what other dentists cost. I love them!!!

I gave 2 stars because of the front desk. Especially one she is a black girl with really short hair. She is extremely rude. I have had to miss a couple of my appointments last minute and i do understand that if i could call 24 hours in advance that would be a spot for someone else. But sometimes things happen last minute. I have tried and tried to talk to the office manager but NO luck. The dentist is wonderful and girls who do the cleaning are great. But when i first come in and your treated nasty by that black lady then that sets a mood. She dont need to be the first person you see.

Made an appointment to go in for broken tooth that has been bothering me. I was never told if I had insurance (medical not dental) that I had to pay full price for services. They only would make my appointment for 7:40 am. So, I left no tooth fixed. Today they was only going to examine my tooth bill for that. Then bring me in to clean my teeth another bill. Then I would see dentist for bad tooth. Another bill. Dont waste your time!

The customer service is horrible!!! I went in because my wisdom teeth were coming in. Before I could describe my symptoms the receptionist kept telling me they cant pull my teeth! The other receptionist and one of the doctors told me the same thing. The issue began when they made it obvious that they do not want to help!!! Each time I tried to tell them what was wrong they kept saying we can not remove it on the first visit! I advised them I didnt ask for it to be taken out...and can they help with the pain. If I did u were trying to turn me around at the door!! THEY HAVE EXTRACTED PATIENTS TEETH BEFORE!!! They gave me pain killers and referred me to someone who wants $900+ for the extraction!! So much for helping those who have no insurance!!! Who can just pay $900+ out of pocket within a few days!? I have bills like everyone else!! Dont advertise as if you guys care for patients that are not insured!! You dont care!! And you refer them to other places that are definitely not for the uninsured or low income! If u Google free clinics for Greenville!! New horizon comes up!! They will tell u on the phone that we are not a free clinic we go by income! Ok I have no income Im unemployed!! However they need proof of income!!! What income!!?? How can u prove you have no income!? This place is a total waste of time!! They do not want to help and will not help!! Especially if u are not already a patient there!!!

I have been calling all day long and they never answered the phone! I don’t know what to do to speak to the scheduling department bc they never answer and I can go to the office because I leave 40 minutes away from there. Is a really bad staff that they have in the from desk. Doctors and nurses are great.

I have had the most horrendous experience with New Horizons, and it has gone on for months now. The doctors office I use in Seneca gave me a referral to New Horizons Dental in Greenville, SC. I filled the paperwork out in July of 2018, and finally got an appointment for November of 2018. The day before my appointment, I received a call from New Horizons and was told that the dentist I was supposed to be seeing would not be there for my appointment, and that they were going to have to reschedule. The next available appointment was more than two months away! I complained but the person on the other end of the line did not care. They told me my new appointment was for January 23, at 3:00 p.m. I know this because I am very careful about using my calendar on my cell phone for any appointments I have so that I do not forget. While the appointment person was still on the phone with me, I entered the particulars into my phone calendar, and then repeated it back to the woman, who agreed that I had everything correct. I also made several alerts. Its a long trip to Greenville for me (an hour with good traffic), so I definitely wanted everything correct.So imagine my surprise today when I arrived, and was told that my appointment was YESTERDAY. I was extremely unhappy, and I didnt get the chance to explain WHY I knew that something was wrong, I was shut down immediately. I asked if there was an ombudsman, and the receptionist didnt know what that was. I then asked if there was a patient advocate. She didnt know what that was either (which should have told me something right there). I then asked who patients spoke to when they had an issue, and was offered a manager. I had to take that, but I knew it was a lost cause, and it was. Hospitals have patient advocates for a reason.The woman who came out looked like your typical aging junior leaguer in a 20 year old business suit, sans jacket. She most likely has worked her way through the social network system and this is the pinnacle of her career, and it pisses her off. I know her entire attitude and body language was I dont have time for this sh*t. and thats pretty much what her words were too, without coming out and saying it. She negated the possibility that a mistake was made by her staff. She informed me, even though I did not ask her to do so, that there was no way she was going to squeeze me between two other appointments, that it wasnt fair to the other appointments to push three people into two hours, and those people deserve their hour. Never mind that I have been waiting since last July for MY hour. Never mind that I drove an hour, all the way to Greenville, to get this appointment, and had to drive an hour back home. Never mind that I spent $20 in gas for nothing. I know what I did and I know that verified my appointment. Since theyve already changed one appointment on me, my only assumption is that at some point it was changed again and the staff there at New Horizons failed to notify me of the same.The last thing she said to me was to offer to make me another appointment. I didnt even have to think about it. There is an old saying from the Navy So goes the captain, so goes the ship. If you have a captain that is lax in his job, the ship will be lax as well. When she asked, my brain screamed If this is the job they do in the front office, do you really want these people with their fingers in your mouth????The answer is no, I do not, and that was the answer I gave her - no thank you. She turned away on her two inch heels and went back to whatever it is that she does, and I left to drive back to my home, with teeth that still need help. If this is the best we can expect from those who are supposedly there to take care of those who need it most, our country is in serious trouble. I couldnt in good conscience recommend that anyone use this dental office - they just arent reliable - unless you are just so desperate that you have no other choice.

Nightmare horrible, I had appointed on tues,i kept calling as of 9 am no reply, I had to do urber cost was $20 each way.I get there and told they didnt come in until 10am because of snow.Rude disrespect girl loud telling me I must reschedule,then manager comes out right in waiting area,talking for everyone to hear how they cant squeeze me in anywhere.It was Monday closed so Tues figure they opened up even went to there site it said open,not my fault no one ever answer phone thats why I wanted to confirm again my appointment time for safety.So Im out of $40 very upset and totally disappointed. Kept rudely told have a seat Im at a lost.

Great place..they did Awsome job..only gripe I have is after numbness wares off u are in severe pain give pain meds that didnt help tramadol is a joke ibuprofen 800 mg did better and still was in pain crying

I went and got a tooth extracted, it was a successful pain was gone, then went back and got my filling now I have a hole on the side of my jaw where food keep getting stuck causing another tooth to go bad now I need that one pulled..

If I could give 0, I would give them for bad treatment, my wife took La Niña, 8 years old and the Odontologist has no patience, had her tooth extracted and La Niña had a small infection, the anesthesia had no effect and the tooth was removed live feeling all the pain, this is the second time the same thing has happened. La Niña was screaming in pain and still not stopped doing the extraction. Take advantage did not want to listen to my wife to stop take advantage of the situation to not be able to speak English and not be from this country.
