The new staff was outstanding!

Excellent experience! In and out in 1/2 hour having a cavity filled. This included getting novocain (or whatever he used). His staff is pleasant and efficient. Since Ive got two more cavities, I have appointments that will complete the work before the end of the year.

Access to the facility was fairly easy. Upon arrival at the facility, Ms. Tonya introduced herself after unlocking the outside door; following all CDC recommended protocol for COVID-19 (very important). As a new client, I had to complete the registration form. Ms. Tonya directed me in and I was introduced to Kara. Kara, Dr. Alami, and Sylver. Everybody I met were friendly; yet professional. Everybody were great but Sylver Rocks! After my cleaning, my mouth did not hurt at all. Thank you all for your work.

I had a crown done here. Insurance would not pay, had to ask the dentist to write a letter on my behalf to help with payment and he wanted to know what I wanted him to say per his staff. Insurance never paid. I asked the dentist for a refund. He refused, saying, we dont do prior authorizations. I had to ask for a payment plan and he did agree to that. I was never able to chew much on the tooth after the crown and now Ive learned I probably have structural tooth damage, and $1200 for nothing. He also talked me into getting Invisalign for an odd bite. He reassured me that treatment would not stop until satisfied and later denied ever saying it. The Invisalign outcome was and still is devastating. My teeth feel like they dont fit my mouth. I live with it everyday. He ignored my complaint to the point of having a confrontation, then he reluctantly agreed to a revision, then wanted to shave 10 teeth. I wasnt about to let him do more work on my teeth, especially with his attitude and reluctance. He should have referred me to an orthodontist, but instead I had referred myself and so glad to know theres a much better way to fix my teeth. Now he will not release my Invisalign records to an orthodontist. Im having to fight for my records to get my teeth fixed. The business aspect was also shotty. No one seemed to be able to answer my questions when there was an odd payment presented to me at the end of a visit that was from some prior visit and it was never clear what the payment was for and I had to ask and was told differently from the 2 staff. One staff even said I would like the new insurance when my job had switched to it, saying it covered braces and it didnt. They also never told me the new insurance was out of network, but why would they? The dental hygienist is great, the only reason I stayed as long as I did. If I could, I would not give any starts.

This is Olivia Umstead and I have been going to this dentist office for several years even when it was Dr. Qs, however, I wanted to write and let people know that he is very good at his work. He is very reasonable and takes time to make you feel as though you are important in several ways as an individual, your time and finding a cost effective and efficient way of the best plan in which works in your best favor.

Dr Alami is an excellent dentist and we are lucky to have him in eastern NC. He was highly skillful and I felt zero pain when he numbed the gum area. He was personable and brilliant and I felt very confident and comfortable in his care. His technology was state of the art and he worked like both a scientist and an artist as he replaced an out-dated crown. I also enjoyed his humor and especially appreciated his explaining to me what he was doing each step of the way. I recommend Dr Alami with the utmost of confidence! Additionally the entire staff was warm and friendly. I am grateful to have him as my dentist as I am very particular about my teeth!

Went in for a cleaning today and Ms Sheree did a fantastic job! Very pleased with my teeth and the office was extremely comfortable as well. The staff is so happy and positive and thats always a great atmosphere to be in! Definitely recommend to anyone!!

I went into the office to have two teeth pulled and because of the anticipated duration of the procedure, Dr. Alami scheduled me for a Saturday morning. He got them out in half of the expected time he thought it would take. I am beyond satisfied with his work ethic and dedication to his patients. The staff is wonderful also, they treat you like family and I would 100℅ recommend Dr. Alamis office to anyone searching for an exceptional dentist!

The entire staff was so nice to me. I am new to the area and they made me feel comfortable and treated me like a person not just another cash register. I highly recommend them to anyone leary about the dentist.
