I visited Carolina Health Innovations last Friday to have my lower back looked at. My back gets super tight due to daily activity and previous sports injuries. I was expecting the usual snap, crackle, pop services of a chiropractor, but that was far from what I received! Instead I was treated to stim therapy, heat to relax and loosen the muscles, then a full evaluation and adjustment. Dr. Meisten was thorough, detailed, and personable. He recommended that I finish my appointment on another massage machine, but I was out of time and had to leave a little early. Carolina Health Innovations far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back! No puns intended!

Was referred by a friend for some acupuncture, and decided to try out some massage and chiro. Ive been to several chiropractors in the past, but none of them ever achieved the balance of friendly environment with professional care that CHI has. I also greatly appreciate how the staff will talk you through your problems and their proposed treatment without being condescending or making me feel like I should just hide in a box except to come out for my routine adjustment. For 2 years or so I have had a burning, stabbing, itching, numb, painful condition on the front of both Thighs 24/7 and waking me from a deep sleep every night. After several months of unsuccessful treatment from my M.D. my Insurance company recommended I visit Dr. Meisten. Dr. Ken diagnosed my problem as originating from the lower back / pelvic area. Now after less than 2 months (twice a week) of adjustments from Dr. Ken along with pressure point therapy from LaRandi McAlister my condition has improved by 90%. Choosing healthcare providers that are professional and caring can be a challenge. Ive found Dr. Meisten to be a true professional in chiropractic services, while also providing patients a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. From the first visit, he took the time to assess my situation, including comprehensive X-rays and (unlike other chiropractors Ive experienced) took the time to review and explain the X-rays. In addition he helped me understand how chiropractic adjustments would help minimize the pain and discomfort I was experiencing. Chiropractic care has greatly dimished my pain and discomfort. Dr. Meisten is also great to provide helpful tips on maintaining bone health, and general health. I have recently had acupuncture therapy as well, and am amazed at how helpful this has been. Susan is a thoughtful and caring acupuncturist. I highly recommend Dr. Meisten and the team of professionals at CHI.

I absolutely love this place. Ill be honest - I went the first time on a Groupon to get a great deal on a massage. I had an adjustment from Dr. Meisten while there and have never looked back - it was different from other chiros that I had been to in that I really felt my spine being encouraged back into position. Not painful... satisfying. At other chiros, I would get pulled around and never feel anything crack. That may sound silly but it makes a difference to me to be able to feel something happening. Dr. Meisten is attentive and has excellent bed (table?) side manner. He runs an efficient office with a clinical atmosphere.Id also like to mention that I think LaRandi, the masseuse, is the best in Greenville. Shes able to offer both spa-like relaxation with serious healing benefits. I always feel amazing after an hour with her, and the results last for days. Instead of taking the pro knows best approach with one-size-fits-all sessions, she listens to what your specific needs are, i.e. I just need to chill out or my shoulder is in pain today, and designs your session around them.I honestly cant say enough about this place. I know youll agree!
