Doctor is weird. Talks to you like a child. Waited 2 weeks for 2 sets of glasses to come in, only for the prescriptions to be backwards. I paid for half upfront. Youd think they could get it right. Guess not, if I cant get a discount because Im having to wait over a month for glasses Im just going to take my business elsewhere and get a refund.

I have not received my glasses yet, but up to this point I am very happy with my experience with AB! Right from the start I was greeted at the door, the technician did a great job explaining everything, and the optometrist was awesome. Being that I am a diabetic, he showed me the difference between my eye, and a picture of an eye with diebetic tendencies. Reed eye never did that!The Young lady that helped me pick out my new frames , was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Looking forward to receiving my new glasses.

Was greeted in a professional manner. All personnel wore mask. Waited a very short time. The Optometrists was very very nice. My exam was excellent. In my years of wearing glasses I have never had my concerns answered in such a professional way an to the point. I was very satisfied. I purchased 3 glasses with no rush and the employee new exactly what I wanted. Would recommend Americas Best 100%.

For several years Ive shopped here for glasses (I choose to get my eye-exam elsewhere - no slight against their optometrists). Ive always found the prices to be competitive and the service outstanding. I had another visit a day ago and was warmly greeted as soon as I arrived. I picked out some frames and was assisted immediately by a helpful technician.

I’ve used this location for years for my kids. The team is always accommodating and helpful. They have a wide variety of selection and choice and their extended warranties are great with my children.

Thorough eye exam performed by very courteous staff and doctor. Price for exam unbeatable. Will be returning.

I had my appointment early in the day on a Monday and for whatever reason the doctor was unable to sign my prescription so I could buy glasses elsewhere. I was told it would be mailed out the next day as I was unavailable to pick it up in store. I called back on Thursday after not receiving the confirmation of mailing call I was told I would get and the girl I spoke to told me both that it had been mailed out and that it would be mailed out that day in the same sentence. Fast forward to the next Tuesday, over a week after my appointment and now when I try to call the store I get a message about the number being unavailable. Completely unprofessional and the absolute last time I’ll ever go to America’s best for anything. If I have to go into the store over a week later to get my prescription I will be walking out with a full refund for my eye exam I can promise you that.

Ive been to this Americas Best on four separate occasions. Most of the time the service is good and the representatives are upbeat. The day I went must have been a bad day.First: I LOVE the eye doctor. He is personable and he explains what he is looking for and there were even some jokes thrown in there.Second: The young woman that did the initial exams, puffs air in the eyes, was, in the beginning not very nice at all. She was rude to the person that came to help me as I was recovering from Covid. The good part is that once she came in and got started, she turned into a different person. She was as nice or nice than I expected. She is a diamond in the rough and I hope someone sees it and helps her through that awkward first stage.Third: The woman that was helping really didnt help that much. . I asked this representative specific questions about package deals and prices of items not set on the information sheet. She mumbled neither my friend or I could hear her. When the final total came to over $400 dollars I asked her why, I was given a partial explanation and then she reverted to what she was saying pretty much all night. You need trifocals and I think you need this package. When I asked why she just kept walking with my credit card. The glasses will be here in a week to 10 days and then I can see the voucher and figure out what I paid.This could be a really nice place the potential is so high. All the representatives need is more training. I hope they get it.

The staff are absolutely wonderful/ accommodating! I have special needs eyes and the nice eye doctor hooked me up with a totally precise/ accurate prescription that was on point- finally!! I’m glad I stopped going to Sterling. My scripts were never accurate and struggled daily w headaches. I got 2 pair of stylish glasses that are bomb!!! Price is great and quality impressive. I would like to recommend the Greece office. 5 stars!!!

Staff was nice enough but was told I failed the field vision test (taken twice) and was referred to neurologist ophthalmologist to rule out pituitary tumor. Specialist redid test and it was perfect. A lot of stress and extra money for nothing!! Moral: see a real doctor, even for glasses.

I wish I could give 0 stars im in the parking lot wishing I never stepped foot in this place. The dr is Always behind. I have been 3 times in a month and still dont have my contacts. I waited 45 mins today after my scheduling time and was early.... But still with 2 people ahead of me he said I just have to wait its too bad for me I can reschedule! Well sir I have a life too and my time is just as important as yours. Retire and find a new job you constantly look angry coming out of the exam room one patient after another. You Should reevaluate your career because you are not that great at what you do, highly unprofessional.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! I went on July 24th for my follow up contact eye exam everything went great, I orderd a box of the contacts and the associate offered me an option to send them directly to my house so I picked that option, here I am almost 4 weeks out I contacted them and the manger (Shasha) tells me that her associate canceled the order for some reason and basically that I would I have to be another week without contacts and this is my only source of Vision, yes they gave me trials but they are a month old. I have paid for the box of contacts that I have not received yet and the Manager proceeded to tell me that there is nothing she can do for me besides order me another box free of charge even though I already paid for the box I didn’t receive so technically not free and I would have to wait and be patient.... ridiculous do not go here!!!

If i could give 0 stars I would. Staff was extremely rude. They should honestly not work in customer service. Very disappointed. I will never come back to Americas Best because of this experience.

Terrible place, Not knowledgeable at all, incorrect information, very slow, waiting 1 hour after having scheduled appointment. Rude, wast of time. Worst experience ever. The staff is extremely unprofessional and they make way to many mistakes. I had a follow up appointment to get my contact lens prescription verified and than after I went they told me I didnt have an appointment but I had a card given to me from them stating that I had an appointment on that day but they didnt put me in the system, so they resqueduled me a month later and when I called they did the same thing again and didnt put me in the system so now I have to wait a whole nother month for a follow up just to get my contact lens prescription verified. I will nevercnever back to Americas Best after I get my prescription verified because sadly to me its been Americas Worst. I had a better experience with the Walmart Eye center. I know not all Americas Best are like this but this one is.

I like coming here. The staff is friendly and the glasses are nice.

Everyone is always friendly when I go ! Even when it’s BUSY and they have a full waiting room they know what their doing. Only thing, the rack for the 69.99 rack had UGLY frames haha so I had to extend my budget to get nice looking ones BUT it was worth it! Other than that I would recommend anyone going to go there especially the Greece location I’ve been going for years.

This was by far the best experience I have received at any optical center. Everyone was extremely professional, attentive, polite, overall a very welcoming environment. I will continue to visit this location.

Had an appointment at 12:30. I had to be home by 1pm to let the PT in my house, so I left. Went back up to see if I can have my appointment, I was gone 5min. The Dr was still with the same patient that he was with when I left. Well the Dr comes out and says I have two patients already. The kicker is he says to me I dont want to hear any excuses. I am appalled. My appointment was at 1230 which I was there waiting for a half hour and he says that to me. I will never go back to this place

My husband and I have always gone here for glasses because its the best deal around and the staff are nice. This year my son needed glasses and he was a little nervous. The staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and he ended up having a great experience.

Ill admit, I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but I had a great experience! This was my first visit and every single employee was very friendly and attentive. Everything went very smoothly and I cant wait to get my glasses!

I purchase two pair of glasses 6 months ago. They started to fall apart. I walked in the store and before i could even speak the Lady said we can’t fix those. Then they asked me to have a seat. I waited for 15 minutes until I got up and walked out with no help. My glasses broke the same way and Pearl Vision fixed them. America’s Best in greece need to train their staff.

3 different times, wasted trips because of misinformation. Greece, west ridge location. I do not recommend getting involved with this company. Horribly run. They are trying to make it better so thats a positive. Sorry it took this.

Thirrrrrd time in a row that I am waiting over a hour sitting in a chair when the place is not even busy waiting for eye exam. Not fast past. They need more then one doctor or faster staff

Before checking my son into UofR, I wanted to do his eye exam, as pickup of glasses would be close to school.The front desk employee turned me away because, technically we take walk-ins, but if we have appointments, we dont. There were 2 customers in the front, both receiving service. The parking lot had 4 cars. Oh, and this technical employee? Well she was chit-chatting with a co-worker.Id say, technically the service sucks, the staff is lazy and I would definitely NOT return to Americas Best, though in this case, its more like Americas Worst.

The chain has decent prices and promotions but watch out and make sure they fill out your entire prescription. Doctor Zhang left mine half blank. They like to leave a few things blank so you can’t order glasses with it from their competition. Pretty nasty thing to do if you ask me. I wish a doctor could just be a doctor and not a businessperson.

I purchased a pair of computer glasses to help me view multiple monitors at arms length. Fine print is now crystal clear. These are the best glasses I own and cost the least amount of money compared to my others. The ophthalmologist and staff were quite pleasant to deal with. By the way, check the profiles of people who give one star ratings. They give one star to all professionals they review. No reviews are positive. Bad luck or malcontent?

I had a great experience my appointment was at 2:50 I was in and out with 2 pairs of glasses for under $180 by 3:30. That was with people ahead of me. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The Dr was great and actually told me what was going on with me eyes and not just ok lets get ur glasses. Gabrielle the young lady who helped me with my eye glasses answered all my questions and didnt make me feel as I was annoying her. She was very down to earth and friendly. I have been to other places they have charged 2x as much and made me feel rushed. Great place will go back again and recommend 100%.

They advertise to sound as if prices are great. After purchasing I found better prices and same day receiving service. Id rather go elsewhere next time.

Ive had my fair share of dealing with their rude employees but I continue to come back because their prices are affordable. So today I run out of contacts so I looked up when they close and on here it says 6 pm. Perfect, so I drive 25 minutes to get here to find out they scraped off the times on their door and replaced it with 5:30. Im very beyond irritated if youre going to change your closing times please update the appropriate resources. Now on Monday I will need to drive another 25 minutes to retrieve my contacts.

I first wanted to start off by saying that my overall experience has been pretty good at this location between the flexibility in the scheduling, the doctor, in which has always been great and the majority of the employees there have been pretty good too.So heres the reason Im removing two stars right now, when I had spoke to this one employee who happens to be a manager from what she said anyway, and by the name of Marsha it sounded like, she didnt communicate it very well about when I had requested to see a specific doctor for my next appt. She seemed quite vague about it and basically stated what his schedule was and when hes off and how the doctors rotate and everything. So as I got thinking about it more, I decided to contact them once more in hopes that I would have gotten someone else who would have been more helpful, instead, it was her again, and I had clarified to her that Ive been coming to this location for a while now and Ive always been able to request a specific doctor without any issue and usually they confirm it by saying that theyll put ya down for that doctor of choice. However, Marsha the manager basically got a lil inpatient about it and said that she thought she had already explained everything and I said well, but u didnt seem very certain about it tho and that u made it seem like it was gonna be whichever doctor was available, so I had to try reaching out to them again just to make sure my point was understood correctly! And with being a manager, u would expect that theyd know better than that and to have more patience & better communication with their customers! I found this to be a bit flustering. Idk if shes newer or not as I dont recall the name or ever speaking to her before. Everyone else has been pretty good so far thankfully, so no issues there, but Im not that impressed with this one tho. And thats part of what determines on where we decide to go for our eye care needs and would hate to have to start going to another location or even test drive another company because of this experience today. I hope that this review gets taken constructively by whoevers in charge of this as a way to improve more in that area going forward, and this is my genuine honest feedback between the positives and the areas that can use some work.

Definitely not a free exam. 45.00 for the exam. Even if you dont have an eye issue and just want an exam.When I googled free eye exam this company came up. Also doesnt take MVP INSURANCE

The new doctor was really good and helped to correct an inaccurate prescription that was given to me by a different doctor there, last year. I am so relieved now that I can see better at work!I feel like they have a good variety of frames to choose from. I have never had an issue with an appointment time.Most staff I worked with there were wonderful...very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. There was one lady there that made me feel as if she was relieved that I didnt ask for any additional work from her, and it was only like 9:30am! But this wasnt a dealbreaker for me given that everything else went well.

After the exam, I was given a different prescription than normal. I couldn’t get used to the glasses. I went somewhere else to get an exam and they gave me my normal prescription. I wouldn’t trust this location- bring your own Rx. They pump people through so fast that I don’t think enough time is being spend to do a proper job.

Dr. F is awesome! -- He is the reason that I have been going to this location since 1995. He is very friendly and patient. The rest of the team is good, too. I now live in Williamsville, NY, and have an ABCE 5 mins down the road from me, and I STILL make the hour drive to Greece, so Dr. F and his team can take care of me. Thank you.

Glasses are glasses but the associate that assisted me , Taylor, was exceptional.

Appointments are meaningless here. Be prepared to spend 2 hours. They have no clue how to handle booking patients properly and this is how its been every time I come here. Im on some stupid 3 year plan so Im stuck for now but when that runs out Ill never return. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

This is by far the worst place to receive eye car. I have continuously received the wrong prescription for my right eye. They refuse to believe that I cant see and I need them corrected. I have made over 6 visits to this Greece location for the same issue but they keep switching it out to another eye. They seem to be incompetent. Going forward I will take my business elsewhere.

If I could rate ZERO I would. They are NOT licenced opticians!!! I went in to the store to have my glasses tightened (bought at Henrietta store) and the girl could not get them straight. This lil wench told me it was because my face was crooked! Girl! If I wasnt in my Sunday best Id mop the floor with you! What a joke! So I went to Rochester Eye and Laser Center and Ms. Sherry took great care of me. Plus she is licensed AND hooked me up with a pair of Sunnies for cheap!!!! Yall need to get it together! You lost me as a customer. Bye Felicia!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The staff are rude, there is poop smears on the bathroom walls, and if you make an appointment be prepared to wait at least an hour after your set appointment time.

Let me first start and say the dr was fine and very professional...but the dr assistant called my sons eyes chinky (hes asian)and was rude. Also had an appt for my 6 yr old son and once i pulled him from school to get there ...then they tell me they wont see hi. He has to be 7. But the dr stated he probably would but running late. I said i have an appt for both though. But still wouldnt see him.

Worst experience ever. I went in on May 2nd for my initial exam, ordered glasses the same day. I received my first pair on May 14th because I called them. Originally they said 7-10 business days. That day they told me my 2nd pair had not come in yet. I called every 2-3 days and still nothing. One month after my appt I called and talked to someone who took my information and said she would have the manager call me the following morning.....no one called. The next day I called and spoke directly to the manager who called in a rush for my second pair and they had them in 3 business days. No compensation for it being over a month. Crap service there. Lost my business. Never again

Went in and was told my prescription has expired! It was taken 14 months ago and is expired by 2 months. What a scam to get money for another exam. The pair I purchased there before broke and they never called me to pick them up. When I called them they related they called me once two weeks ago. Beware the 69. for two pair is a rip off to get you in the store. The people are rude. OMG an expired prescription that was only last year, expired by two months on glasses. They would not sell me any without paying for another exam, even the same prescription I was told no. I would tell you all dont buy there. I will be placing more reviews on line as I can because my glasses are broke and they wont help without a new exam. What a scam, Im very upset with them!!!!! Now I must use these glasses with tape on them. Americas Best they are NOT....
