Their practice is too big and theyve lost control of how to run a safe medical practice. If you can get an appt with the right doctor (decided by an inexperienced hired phone operator that guesses who out of 30 doctors you should see) then wait 2 months; I hope you get the right diagnosis. This happened to my mother who ended up having to be rushed in for an emergency surgery Christmas eve. We began trying to get an appt since October but never told our previous Doctor at KCUR had Retired and no courtesy to contact patients nor did the staff.Again, too big of an office to run smoothly. I called to complain 4 different times and only got a person to speak with one time with no follow up as she promised.

KC Urology Care is not a very professional outfit they do not TCB very good at all. I had an appointment for a biopsy to check for possible prostrate cancer scheduled with Dr Gerald Park for Friday May 24 at 1:30 pm at their Independence location, and Dr Park never showed up by 2 pm, his staff apologized to a full waiting room of upset and angry looking people waiting for their appointments with Dr Park, and said he was still stuck in a morning surgery that was running late. I asked the KC Urology front desk staff how many people were scheduled ahead of me and the receptionist said there was 3 other people with scheduled appointments with Dr Park waiting ahead of me, and this woman informed me that there was no telling when or if Dr Park would make it to the KC Urology Office at that Independence location on this day. Please choose a better more professional urology outfit for possible life threatening health issues than KC Urology care, dont waste your time and gas driving to an appointment which KC Urologys Drs cannot even show up on time for!
