Parking can be a struggle, but otherwise it is a nice facility. easy access off 28th street. the concessions sells alcohol too.
Top notch volleyball and basketball facility. It was 85 degrees outside but they had the AC cranking.
First visit. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We played soccer on one of the indoor fields. Overall good experience.
It would be nice if we could get a clock put in like we were promised two and half years ago.
Loved the facility we need something like this in the South Suburban area.
Nice basketball courts it is difficult to see the scoreboard on the far side and refs were bad.
Very good CV-19 precautions. Twice a week they allow flying small electric planes inside one of the soccer fields. Quite fun.
Nice facility. Wish there was a bit more parking during huge volleyball or basketball tournaments
I remember when this was Woodland roller skating rink & tennis courts and we would have our roller skating parties for our Christian Junior High here. I guess they dont do roller skating anymore . what about tennis? havent been in there actually but it looks nice from the pictures. thinking back remembering the good old days ..so now my junior high is gone & roller skating is gone.... nothing stays the same
Its really nice since they remodeled it.
Very slow dock work waste of time
Fabulous complex! Great place to join a league or play/practice especially when you need to get out during long winters. Very family friendly. Snacks are available and there is room for spectators to watch games at each of the fields. Highly recommend this facility and all of their programs.
Very organised and safe
One of the best facilities and AAU programs in Michigan!
It was cool going to this place. Watched a champion league, it was actually fun.
The facilty its self if really nice but if youre a player be prepared to be upset with the referees. They miss calls, are one sided and call the wrong calls. This has been going on for a while and they just seem to not care.
Great sporting venue, needs bathrooms at the other end and more parking though.
The turf is similar to 90s carpet flooring that old indoor fields had; however this carpet has rubber pellets. As a keeper, the turf will destroy your legs, knees, and gloves. In addition, you cannot wear cleats. On a positive note, the fields are large and the refs are the best/most consistent in the area. If you want better turf and the ability to wear cleats, go to soccer zone in Jenison.
This is my first time here but everything seems pretty nice and well taken care of. Very clean. Bring a chair though. Bleachers are just aluminum and they dont have a ton of them.
They have really did up the place . Looks very clean and spacious. Hearing all the whistles from other teams sometimes confuse our basketball session . Staff seems very arrogant. Dont like the vibe from staff at all . Besides that everything else is a plus .
The building was a good place to hold the State meet. Just not enough parking. The price to get in was also reasonable.
Nice complex... Was here to watch Grandson Darryl Beltcher play on Thu, 07-18-19 at the Brawl for the Ball Tournament. His team One(1) Nation won. He plays for Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School.😁
Nice facilities for multiple sports and they serve alcohol.
The refurbishment and additions to the facility are great. They could use some help with the parking situation on busy weekends as well as some seating for spectators upstairs for Field 2. But overall, a good facility.
Really nice place for sports. Not an easy play to watch the games that were played.
Definitely liked the previous owners and staff better! This place used to feel like a second home when my kids would play indoor soccer and lacrosse. They made you feel like family. The DeVos family did a nice job remodeling the building but thats about it. There is now an over all arrogant tone to the place we used to love to spend our evenings and weekends watching our kids play!! A TRUE DISAPPOINTMENT. Bring back the small hometown businesses please!
Went to see my grandsons LaCrosse game, like building, not the seating for spectators. Picnic table set up on the second floor, benches on the main level. Arrive early and stake out your seats as seating is very limited. That said, I loved watching the kids play
Great facility. Huge. Small snack bar with candy, slushies, pizza, hot pretzels water, pop and Gatorade. They have unbuttered popcorn and a variety of shakers to add taste. The only drawback was our tournament cost $10/ day for those over 12 or $15 for a 2-day arm band. Pretty pricey with what we are already spending on team fees, transportation and lodging and meals. Not sure who pays the referees but ours were 20 minutes late getting back from lunch so ours and the games following were late starting.
Good facility. Good staff. Fair prices.
Great place for my boys to play lacrosse in the off season.
Following protocol to the most👍
Facility is first class, very well done. But needs more viewing area for parents and fans during hoops tournaments. Gets crowded. Some of the hoops leagues for teens were not well organized in 2017.
The man who owns or runs the soccer facility treats people like trash. He should learn how to talk to people, and learn how to run a business that actually provides a service to others rather than to his own ego. Do you know what they say in real football? RESPECT. My friend, dont treat other people like the trash you sweep.
Place is Clean and Well kept. Bkb Coaching staff Ive been exposed to are great. Plenty of seating for practice and scrimmage situations. I can see the seating and parking an issue but the place is Land Locked as sports popularity/ opportunities has grown. Whiners are going to complain. Recommend for practice & scrimmage opportunities.
Lots of whistles but fun place
Nice floor, good professional refs. I enjoy playing here.
This place has very nice basketball courts and indoor turf soccer fields. Very well maintained and decent drop in prices at $5 per person.
Pickup soccer is a great deal with the membership card. Only 4 star rating bc you need to call in since they randomly postpone pick up.
Indoor soccer facility that has great staff and good snacks
Excellent indoor facility. Very safe environment for my little soccer player!
Great place to watch men play soccer!
Good place to watch indoor basketball.
Great place to play soccer. Nice fields
Great facility for basketball and indoor soccer. Always clean.
Great facility for all kind of indoor sport from soccer to basketball, also a great family environment
Wonderful facility that was recently revamped. Parking was an absolute nightmare during a tournament. And the second floor viewing for West indoor turf field was terrible - hopefully this is resolved as time goes on.
Nice staff and the facility is well designed.
Clean and well run facility.
Nice facility over all. I wish that they would schedule the gymnastics state meet at facilities with more seating.
Nice facility for soccer and basketball. Recently renovated. . .
Excellent place for soccer, basketball, volleyball, pickle ball, and futsal. Nice staff.
Nice floors and lighting- for volleyball the balls are constantly interrupting other games.
Best courts in Grand Rapids, best part is drop-in(basketball, soccer, other) is only $5
A great multi sport facility - even for roller derby!
Cool place! They have alcohol now!
Decent lax facility. Scoreboard would be nice.
WOW where to start Woodland Skating Rink was the best Skating rink ever im so proud to have learned to skate for the first time at Woodland. Woodland was SOO better then fun spot. Thank You Woodland!
Very crowded and loud for volleyball with 6 courts. Not much spectator seating, bring a folding chair. Parking was completely full.
Nice place but a whole lot going on. Parking lot gets full if theres more then two events going on.
This place is awesome. Definitely worth going to. Best rink I know of.
A decent mid-sized soccer arena and Training Academy
Theys have spent some time drastically updating/renovating this place and it shows!
Great building good basketball courts great atmosphere.
Winter indoor training, nice facility
Its really nice place to be there everything is so clean
Really good place for a soccer game and basketball games and practice
Went for the Lake Michigan Football Combine and it was a great venue
Nice facility but nobody runs the clock for lax games which is a little annoying. Besides that, nice facility and staff is pleasant.
Very nice sports complex. Bleacher seating, concessions
Very clean and worker are nice
Nice and clean facilities, adequate amount of space for seating
Homeschool skate was good clean fun. Recommended.
Good facility! Not enough parking
Best rink in west michigan..ive been to many rinks in michigan and this is by far the better one. huge facility.
The lacrosse people do not know how to do their job. Need new people on the lacrosse side.
Very nice place very very big floor are family loved it nice staff
They charge me $2 every time I come to watch my 9-year-old play basketball.
I like very much
Good soccer place, and it has a newly remodled field.
Clean. And never had any issues..
Best fields in grand rapids at the moment.
Nice place for sports activity
Expensive to get into games but it is a very nice venue
Management needs to address the lack of parking. Too few spaces for the venues they are hosting. I cannot believe the neighborhood had not raised concerns about safety.
Very nice, clean facility.
Its nice to play inside
Great place for occasions, secure, great parking
Nice indoor arena for winter cricket !
Great pickleball!
Nice indoor sports arena.
The parking is always a disaster. The facilities are nice.
Good facility for volleyball nice high ceilings .horrible concession stands unhealthy greasy food and typical concession stand junk food not healthy for a sports venue
Bring your own chair!
Very nice facility!
Bit cramped but otherwise very nice
Great for sports and events with family
Its better then it used to be
Awesome facility and great people
