I don’t usually write reviews- The professionals I met with were fantastic but their staff is atrocious. I had to ask for the woman’s name and once I did that she turned it around and became extremely helpful. Before I did that she was so exceedingly rude, I almost asked to speak to someone else. Who trains the staff? They need to do some re-training. Important-if someone is calling it is because they need some sort of medical attention and should be treated with respect and care.

The office manager is absolutely terrible. She is rude and crude. Absolutely doesn’t care for patients . This practice has been going down hill for some a few years.

Dr Hazle is very competent. However, since the acquisition by Metro Health, who professes to be the best medical provider backed by U of M, they fall way short. Their left & right hands are not communicating.Zero accountability pass the buck attitudes and bureaucracy is effectively killing the practice. Please listen & focus on your patient health, follow through with your promise.

I tried to schedule an appointment on Thursday for that day or the next. They were full and would not work me in but put me on a cancellation list (I was never called, of course). They told me to call first thing on Saturday and they could work me in then. I showed up at the office at 8:40 (called at 8:31 on my way in and got the after hours emergency service line). She said that she had been answering phones since 8:30 (implying that I was lying) and that the appointments were booked already and they refused to work me in to the schedule. She stated that I hadnt been to the practice since 2015 (I only come when I really, really need to, why hold that against me?) and she was documenting my noncompliance in the chart. She also told me that if I was going to work today that I must not be as sick as Im making myself out to be (Im a young, otherwise healthy adult with no major pmfsh that is currently on SEVEN different prescription medications for bronchitis that has now likely evolved into pneumonia). Hey, guess what? I dont make the sick leave policies at work, nor do many other Americans. I would love to have the luxury of not going to work when I feel crumby and absolutely miserable! It must be nice to be her! They referred me to urgent care twice in three days instead of working me into the schedule! Seriously?! They are wasting resources of other providers and departments designed for patients with unforeseen illness/injury because they dont want to work to take care of someone that is genuinely ill. I will be filing a formal complaint and finding a doctor that I can actually see and be taken care of by. My physician is nice enough, but whats the point of having a kind physician if he cant spare an extra 15 minutes of his time to make sure you are cared for if you really need to be? And if you cant take care of pneumonia who can you take care of? Appalling.

I used to absolutely love this office, however since becoming affiliated with Metro things have become chaotic and disorganized. They have lost several physicians and are trying to maintain the patient relationships, and the lack of time and attention has begun to show. It can be difficult to get a hold of an actual person, and when you do you often get half-answers or wrong answers altogether. I hope they are able to turn things around.

Very sad what has happened to this practice since they switched from Mercy Health (St. Marys) to Metro. Dr. Kutche is a fine doctor but is working in a system that demands more than he can realistically deliver. We had Dr. Furness for about 20 years prior but when the change was made and he left, the practice has gone downhill. steadily to the point that we really had no option other than to leave and find a Mercy Health physician. I hate to write negative reviews but honestly, until they get their act together, get staffed properly and start treating patients like real human beings again, I am being generous in giving a three star rating.

Dr Hazle and his staff are the best. He is very knowledgeable, attentive and has great bedside manner. He went out of his way to attend to us under extenuating circumstances, and we highly recommend his practice.

Absolutely terrible. Will not call you back for anything. Even worse, evryone was clueless when it came to my issue. Instead of speaking to others or referring me to a specialist they just played the guessing game with all kinds of antibiotics, until my issue became so severe!

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The doctor I saw there puts his personal beliefs in front of his obligation to care for patients.
