Worst doctor ever. My sons girlfriend had come to him to check an injury from being stabbed with a limb during an 4 wheeler minor accident. He didnt check the wound. Said it was likely not even infected. Never checked the wound and wrote a scrip for antibiotic. When she wasnt getting better I had an RN in my neighborhood take a quick look because something was moving when she moved her leg only to send her to the ER. New infection, incision and 3 inch stick removed. Do not go to see him you may just lose a leg if you dont get a second opinion.

Doc is the greatest! After having seizures for sixteen odd years, that were never controlled by my medicine, I started seeing Dr. Vanwormer, who suggested I start getting my med levels checked.. I had never in all these years had a doctor that checked my levels. After a month of tweaking my meds after level checks it became clear I was now at the exact levels I should be and was seizure free!I was able to get a drivers license and even safely carry my twins to full term with no incidents!!He may be a very busy man, but that is because he is so good that he has a large patient load! They do triage appointments by importance, which is good, so yes you will wait to see him for a physical, so call ahead.. if your having a heart attack they will get you in, but seriously, having a heart attack is a trip to the hospital! Any thing concerning a major health issue is put ahead and fitted into the schedule.Lovely staff as well!

I came into the urgent care while reacting badly to peanuts, and Dr Van Wormer was so calm and encouraging! Got me what I needed right away and distracted me with small talk until I was feeling better. :)

Terrible staff to deal with! You show up on-time for your appointment and sit there for over 1 hour in the waiting room to be called in for your appointment. Dr. VanWarmers first reaction is to give you drugs to cure minor issues without taking the time out to explain what the issue is. Appointments are set 3 months in advance and the you have to call in the first two days of the months to schedule the appointment. If you forget to call in the first two days of the month to set up your appointment then you have to remember to call the next month. They Will not take appointments any other days you call in for the annual check-ups. Megon, their office manager never returns a phone call if you are having an issue unless you call her 10 times and then treats the patient like a jerk. Do NOT put your life in the hands of this unorganized and incapable staff!

I LOVE Dr. Vanwormer, very personable physician, I have been a patient for over 10 years, however his support staff has drastically gone down hill and their scheduling practices are terrible. Getting a physical with this doctor is next to impossible. His staff can be rude at times and not very accommodating.

Dr. Vanwormer is intelligent, but doesnt talk down to his patients. He listens well and is easy to converse with. I was also impressed with his willingness to consider homeopathic remedies without first prescribing the latest and greatest drug on the market.More often than not, my wait to see the doctor has been less than 15 minutes. The office is clean and his staff is friendly.Dr. Vanwormer has been an excellent physician and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

Dr Vanwormer is a great doc. Easy to work with, thorough and a great personality too.

I have been a patient there for almost 20 years. I have a conflict with my schedule for a physical March 19 and they can make no arrangement until June to get me in. This tell s me they make no contingencies for schedule changes and its all about filling the schedule for $$$. So much for being a loyal patient customer.
